Chapter 29: Flash Step

General Su finds his reply to be somewhat impolite so he quickly apologize.

But Shu Feng didn't mind it. He just looked towards Bai Shi and was somewhat astonished to his current strength right now.

"You're a lot stronger now than the last time I saw you, Young Master Bai." Shu Feng said while looking at Bai Shi with a faint smile.

Shi felt embarrassed by being praised by Shu Feng who he admired the most. He wanted to say that it was all thanks to him that he has the courage to become strong and rely on himself, but his words were somewhat just got back to his throat when he saw other person standing beside him.

He was not at all inferior in terms of looks but he feels like an ordinary person for Bai Shi.

It was understandable since Shu Feng concealed his whole aura and it was not just Bai Shi but also all of his companions including General Su was confuse about Kei's existence since Shu Feng was alone by himself the last time they met. Maybe a servant?

As far as they know, Shu Feng was incredibly strong and all his companions would surely be someone strong too.

Sometimes a cultivator could not feel other's cultivation when their cultivation level gap is too high. But it did not cross their minds that Kei was at the Eight Stage Foundation Building Realm or he was using any tricks to hide his cultivation level.

But they didn't voice their opinions since it would make them rude.

"There is no need. I only came here since I wanted to train this Little Guy and it was just perfect that I sensed some Demon Beast here and coincidentally end up meeting you." Shu Feng said while pointing his head towards Zise who was currently sleeping on top of his head.

The group of Shi suddenly felt amazed everytime they think about the Little Guy's prowess. It even manage to scare three Nineth Stage Foundation Building Demon Beast.

Yeah, you're right. All the Demon Beast already ran after Zise walk back to Shu Feng and they didn't pursue them either.

"I wonder what you are doing in this forest?" Shu Feng suddenly ask. He didn't want to meddle in other's business that much but he cannot help but feel curious since this forest is not just a simple one that is use as a vacation spot. And he presumes that they are aware of it.

"We cannot take normal roads right now since we are being hunted and only this forest was our only way towards our destination." General Su said while looking quite sad since they cannot guarantee their safety here.

Shu Feng just nodded and didn't question for more.

He was just about to leave when he remembered something.

"Do you plan on going at the Inner Part? If that so, then we could accompany you since we will also head that way."

"Please do, Senior!" It was Bai Shi who answered instantly when he heard that they could travel together with his idol. He felt excited since it was his very dream to travel with his Idol.

Shu Feng and Kei just chuckled at his reaction since it was very obvious that he was excited because of Shu Feng.

General Su and the other on the other hand was embarrassed at the scene but they cannot do a single thing here since they are aware that he admired Shu Feng very much.

He was even bragging throughout their journey that he would join Shu Feng once he become very strong.

'Am I that too handsome that I even attracted boys right now?' Shu Feng ask to hinself while caressing his face.

But he suddenly shivered when he thinks abou5 being able to attract boys. Some unpleasant memories re-emerge to his brain which made him felt terrified.

He secretly took a peek at General Su ane the others if they have some kind of evil intentions. He sigh inwardly knowing that they didn't have 'that' kind of intention.

When suddenly.... A hand touched Shu Feng from the back which made him jump in fright.

"Are you alright, Brother Feng. You were somewhat trembling just now." Kei ask weakly.

"Y-yeah, I just feel a little bit cold." Shu Feng said while calming himself down.

Kei finds it odd to be cold even though the sunlight was warmly greeting them.

Soon, the group move forward while letting General Su lead them.

"Can I ask about your name, Brother?" Bai Shi ask towards Kei who was right beside him during their travel. It seems like his conjecture were right that he was a servant of Senior since he was not walking on the same line as Shu Feng.

So he decided to be friends with him first and acquire some informations regarding Shu Feng so that he could use it as a trump card.

But what did he know? Kei was only far from Shu Feng since he was irritated by Zise. That little horse was always annoying him during their journey and even love to show off! What's more, it even just sleep and eat and didn't take cultivation seriously and just waited for their Brother to give it some Chaos Energy! And that made Kei more furious.

He was not jealous, maybe just a little bit. But all in all he was pissed since he Zise was not even trying to appreciate those Energies and just rest wherever he wants.

And just thinking about it makes him more irritated.

"Shu Kei." He replied to Bai Shi after calming himself down. Back then, he was still living with his mother in the city so he knows about the rumors going around.

But he just didn't care about it and busy finding herbs in the mountain everyday to cure his mother.

'Shu Kei. Is he perhaps related by blood with Senior?' Shi thought while looking at Kei's face and comparing it at Shu Feng.

They were both handsome but they didn't look like that much.

"Do you perhaps related to Senior by blood."

Kei looked at him strangely but he still chose to answer.

"He is my Older Brother." He said while not bothering to tell any more details since they were not that close in the first place.

Bai Shi was shocked at his reply. They were siblings?! Even his companions were also shock since they manage to hear their conversation.

And knowing that Kei was Senior's little brother make them felt greatly ashamed for their thought a while back.

"S-so it was Young Master Kei." Bai Shi interjected even amidst his shock. He even changed his greetings from 'brother' to Young Master.

'Shriek!'

Before Bai Shi could ask for more, a deafening shriek of a Demon Beast sounded in front of them. All this while, they didn't even notice that they already entered the premises of the Inner Part of the Forest.

"Get in formation!" General Su shouted, but all of them were already in their battle stance. It was unavoidable since they already experienced countless battles and even some ambushes along their escape.

And this made them alert everytime. It was as if their instincts become sharp as blade that was always ready to strike.

"From the strength of that shriek right now, I think it was a Upper One Star Demon King. Everyone be careful!" General Su alerted them, he didn't even notice that they have someone much more terrifying than that beast from their side.

But the man in question was just watching from the back and did not plan to intervine since it was a waste of his time to bother a Second Stage Demon King.

But he soon thought about something. He used his Chaos Energy to slowly levitate Zise and put him on the ground.

"Fight that Beast for a full minute. If you manage to kill it then I will give you extra energy. Don't worry, I will be watching and instruct you from the side." Shu Feng said while patting his head.

Zise just nodded his head and determination was flashing in his eyes. For the extra Energy!

The reason he needs extra was also related to his advancement. If his Big Brother were to constantly give him the same amount of Energy, it would not be able to support his quick advancement in the future.

Because the higher his stage is, the more Energy he needed for further advancement.

"Damn, it was actually a Fire Flower Demon Python and it even reach adulthood already!" One of the companions of Bai Shi shouted while holding his sword with resoluteness.

A gust of wind suddenly passed by Bai Shi and pass through the man who shouted with a great speed and charging towards the Demon Beast.

The Python swing it's tails to defend from the incoming attack. It back off slightly before stabilizing it's gigantic body.

Zise immidiately move a distance away from the beast after his assault.

The Python was enraged by the fact that it's attack was not effective in killing his enemy in front of it.

In fit of anger, it shrieked and charge towards Zise with a speed faster than when Zise dash like a wind.

But before the Beast could reach Zise, he suddenly disappeared from his spot and appeared on top of it's head.

The Python felt threatened from the speed that Zise executed but it thought that it was maybe a limited skill and can only be used a few times.

The Python opened it's mouth and a fire suddenly came out and charge towards Zise.

'Use Flash Step and appear randomly around rhe Beast while gaining a momentum for a critical blow.' Shu Feng commanded while watching the fight.

Zise obeyed the order after he heard it through the contract.

He disappeared from his spot and the fire miss it's target.

He appeared into one spot after another around the Beast. He was keeping his guard up and watching the Python's movement. He was fighting someone a whole realm higher than him after all.

Flash Step was a innate skill that Zise learned by himself once he entered the Third Stage of Foundation Building Realm.

It helps him move instantly to a certain direction he wanted with consuming any of his energy. The only thing it needs is great physical strength.

That's what he saw when he checked the last time the Little guy's status which showed the Skill feature and the Flash Step just beside it.

The Demon Beast was getting angry and angry until it got furious. No matter how much he tried to hit Zise, he will always miss it in a last minute which is quite frustrating. The worse part is that the little guy was getting faster and faster every moments that had passed.

Zise was getting anxious and wanted to finish his battle soon.

Shu Feng felt the disturbance in the Little Guy's emotion and just sigh while shaking his head gently. 'He was still a kid after all.'

'Be patient, Don't let your anxiousness disturb your concentration. Always watch for the enemies movements and find an opening before dealing a huge blow. If you made a slight mistake, you could lose your life.' Shu Feng gave Zise a piece of advice since he knows the feeling of fighting someone that it a lot stronger than you.

Like the last time that Shu Feng killed the Fire Lion solely relying on a pill. But it almost got him killed due to the after effect of the Pill. Thankfully he still got two chances of instant recovery.

Zise immidiately compose himself and remove the anxiousness in his heart. He was waiting, like a hunter hiding in the bushes silently watching his prey to show an opening.

'Shriek!'

The Python got enraged and slowly loosing his rationality. It keeps on bombarding fire and keeps on smashing the surrounding.

Zise was slowed down due to the sudden change in the behavior of the Demon Beast.

The Python saw that the little horse was slowing down and immidiately launch it's attack.

Zise was in mid-air currently and was Ten meters high from the ground. The Python leap up and manage to appear beside Zise in mere seconds.

But before the Beast could swallow Zise, he suddely vanish and appeared behind the snake while raising one of it's foot that is covered in Mythic Energy with a slightly very faint tinge of golden color in it.

The reason why Zise could use Flash Step at the air was due to Shu Feng providing him support. Since Flash Step was suppose to be effective on the ground. So Shu Feng was creating a small transparent platform using his Chaos Energy in the air so that the little guy could step in.

With just the speed of Zise, Shu Feng could easily predict where he ia going to land and just like that he would create the platform in advance.

But the Python was different, it didn't have any reliance when it was in the air so it could not dodge any incoming attack.
