24 Confession

The next few hours after that little scene from Sasuke, they were divided according to their majors. Choji, Kiba, Naruto, and Lee just watched as the others leave. After that, they also went to their own classes.

For the Taijutsu classes, it was basically still having them do Taijutsu exercises and performing their own styles and specialties. The only difference was that they are receiving more focus from the teachers and are receiving immediate feedback. For example, their errors and struggles would immediately be noticed and corrected by instructors which saves them a lot of time compared to experimenting through trial and error.

Now for others, this might have already felt repetitive since they have been doing this for a long time. For Hinata however, any Taijutsu or physical training is never boring. If you still haven't forgotten, the cycle of exhaustion through exercise and healing by chakra feels like an orgasm to Hinata. By now, Hinata had upgraded her weights to 30 kg so her orgasms were now more intense. (*Cough*)

After receiving intense Taijutsu lessons for a few days, they were then given the chance to attend classes on their selected side subjects. For this time, only the trio consisting of Choji, Shikamaru, and Hinata were together.

They walked to the Fuinjutsu classroom but when they got there, they found that the room was filled with a depressing aura. They took a peek and found that most students weren't even listening and some were dozing off. Some were boldly and casually chatting with each other but the teacher didn't seem to care. In fact, he looked like he didn't even want to be there.

The teacher looked somewhat old with already graying hair and his back was starting to hunch. His eyes were dark around the edges and looked like they would close any minute now. His voice was slow and weak as he was just reading through a book and narrating something about Fuinjutsu.

Hinata frowned because she was actually serious about learning Fuinjutsu but with this learning environment, it would be hard. The teacher clearly wasn't at the right age to continue teaching and the students don't care about the class. How can anyone learn under these conditions?

To Shikamaru though, this place was heaven. He enthusiastically took a seat, ignoring Hinata and Choji then... took a nap.

The teacher didn't look up from his book and continued reading, not caring about the new arrivals and the fact that one of them blatantly fell asleep.

Hinata sighed and just sat down on a seat. Choji just followed.

Hinata at least tried to listen through but the more she actually tried to listen to the lesson, the sleepier she felt. It was weird. She wondered if the teacher had some weird superpowers.

Anyways, since she can't learn what she came for in here, she just stood up and left just after staying for only a few minutes. Choji followed while Shikamaru was already fast asleep that he didn't notice his friends' departure.

After getting out of the class, Hinata then found that she had no idea on what to do next for the rest of the day. She wasn't in the mood to do some more training now so she pulled Choji away. The two then decided to go home since there was nothing else to do.

On the way, they stopped by for some chips and walked home at a leisure pace. On the way, Choji would keep glancing at Hinata. Obviously, Hinata would notice that and she even had a premonition. "Don't tell me he's gonna do it." Hinata had a bad feeling about this.

To confirm her worries, Choji suddenly stopped and stood in front of Hinata. He looked at her anxiously before taking a deep breath. He then mustered up all the courage he could and said, "Hinata, I like you."

Hinata sighed while looking at Choji. "I know..."

Choji's eyes lit up. If Hinata knew but she didn't drive him away, then maybe because she also like him back! "Good, I have a chance!", he thought.

"I'm sorry Choji but I can't answer you right now. Maybe it's better to say that I don't want to answer you right now. Maybe in a few years but not now. Can you wait that long?", Hinata said slowly.

Choji was disappointed but was also relieved that he didn't face total rejection. He still had a chance and all it would take is some patience. His eyes became full of resolve and said to Hinata, "I can wait! I'll wait until you're ready to answer my confession to you no matter how long it takes."

Hinata smiled and Pat Choji by the shoulders. She wasn't gonna lie about her feelings. There was definitely something for Choji there but she still doesn't think it's enough to be called love. So it wouldn't feel right to her if she accepted it right now.

In addition, Hinata had lived a far longer life in her past life and her mentality hadn't really adapted to this world's mentality. At most, it just fused together. In her past life, she lived in a rather conservative community where dating below 18 was frowned upon. She didn't feel right getting into a relationship when her age isn't even double digits (her body's age not mental age).
