Epilogue

2 Years Later….

"Jungkookie hurry we are late already!" Taehyung yelled from downstairs.

"I know I'm coming! I would have been ready if you didn't make me change my shirt for the third time!" Jungkook replied

"Come on this is a big deal, and a black t-shirt is not the right attire for this occasion." Taehyung said proudly.

"It's a scan Taehyung not a party." Jungkook said with a teasing tone.

"It's not just a scan Jungkookie! We are about to see our baby for the first time!" Taehyung replied with a excited clap.

"Ok but remember to not freak out too much. There are many more scans to go after this one, and we are not buying anything until we know the sex of the baby. We agreed!" Jungkook said taking Taehyung's hand leading him out the door.

"Oh, come one! What about like a little grey sweater?" Taehyung begged.

"Grey?" Jungkook asked taking his seat in the driver's seat.

"Yes, it's a neutral color so if we have a boy or a girl it wont matter either one could wear it!" Taehyung said turning to Jungkook giving his best puppy eyes.

"Tae, really with the puppy eyes?! That's not fair!" Jungkook said defeated.

"Yes! We will stop by the baby store on the way back home." Taehyung said happily.

"I swear the baby isn't even here and it will have a bigger wardrobe than you." Jungkook said rolling his eyes.

It was about a 20 minute drive to the doctor's office. Taehyung and Jungkook smiled happily when they entered the waiting room and saw Hyo-Mi waiting for them.

"Hi you two! Are you ready?" she asked them with a smile.

"As ready as ever! How are you feeling?" Taehyung asked offering her his arm.

"Oh a little morning sickness, but nothing too terrible. Your little one has been going easy on me so far." She said with a laugh.

"That's my boy." Jungkook said proudly following Taehyung and Hyo-Mi into the doctor's office.

"Jungkookie, we don't know if it's a boy yet!" Taheyung said annoyed.

"Oh, it's a boy! I know it!" Jungkook said confidently.

The three of them just laughed following the nurse into a room down the hall.

"The doctor will be I shortly guys." The nurse said leaving the room.

"I still can't believe we are here!" Taehyung said excitedly.

"Yeah, thank you so much Hyo-Mi!" Jungkook said with a grateful smile.

"Are you kidding, after what you guys did for our family, it's the least I can do!" she replied.

Hyo-Mi and her husband were among the fairies who had been trapped in the church when Taehyung and Jungkook went looking for Jimin. When she had heard that they wanted to have children, she jumped at the chance to help, and after many tests it was final. She was able to become a surrogate for them, and a couple of months later they got the good news! They had worked with a special doctor and decided on using embryos from a donation bank and they decided that both of them would donate so that there was a chance that either one of hem would be the babies biological father. Whoever the father didn't matter to them because it would be their baby.

Soon the doctor arrived, and he prepped the ultrasound machine and turned out the lights. Taehyung and Jungkook moved their chairs so they both could get a good look at the screen.

"Ok, everything looks really good Hyo-Mi! Let me see here, its far enough along that we should get a pretty good image for you guys today. Now, let's see. Here we go…..it may sound a bit strange because of there being two of them, but their hearts both look very good!" The doctor said.

"Did you just say two?" Jungkook asked in disbelief.

"Oh yes! It looks like two babies, twins!" The doctor said smiling at them. "Fraternal twins it seems."

"How can you tell?" Hyo-Mi asked.

"Well fraternal twins develop in two different sacs. Unlike identical twins, who develop because they split and develop from one egg, Fraternal twins happen when two eggs are fertilized and develop separately." The doctor explains.

Jungkook turned to Taehyung to see him in total shock. He let out a laugh and wrapped his arms around him.

"Congrats you two! I will have you go over to the lab and have some blood drawn and we will be able to test for genetic markers." He said.

"What does the test show?" Jungkook asked, because Taehyung was still speechless.

"We will be able to tell if your baby is a fairy or an amarok!" The doctor said.

The rest of the visit passed quickly and soon Jungkook and Taehyung were driving home again.

"I can't believe we have twins!" Taehyung said finally recovering from shock.

"I know!" Jungkook said with a big smile on his face.

"Do you think they will both be fairies? Or Amoraks?" Taehyung asked Jungkook.

"I hope they both look like you!" Jungkook replied.

"Why?" Taehyung asked.

"Because you are the most stunning person I have ever seen! And if our kids look like you then I would be more than happy!" Jungkook said taking Taehyung's hand and squeezing it tightly.

"You are such a sap!" Taehyung said blushing.

"Just speaking the truth!" Jungkook said with a smirk.

"I am just glad that they are healthy! I was so nervous about doing this!" Taehyung admitted.

"Me too, and I was happy to adopt like Jimin and Yoongi hyung did, but I am glad we tried it this way!" Jungkook said letting out a sigh of contentment. "I still can't believe Yoongi hyung agreed to adopting."

"You know he can't say no to Jimin! As much as he talks like a big tough alpha, he can never say no to Jimin. And he fell in love with the pup as soon as he saw her." Taehyung laughed remembering the day Jimin and Yoongi brought their pup home.

"She is pretty cute; I couldn't have resisted taking her home if we had seen her first." Jungkook admitted.

"If our babies are even half as cute as she is, I would be happy! She is the cutest thing I have ever seen!" Taehyung cooed.

"Our babies will be way cuter, but we won't tell her!" Jungkook teased.

Jimin and Yoongi had adopted a one-year old pup when Jimin had dragged Yoongi to the orphanage after their 1 year anniversary. Yoongi had said he wasn't ready to be a dad, but as soon as they saw a little pup named Su-Me they fell in love. Jimin had handed her to Yoongi and as soon as he held her, they couldn't get him to let her go. He loved her instantly and they adopted her right on the spot. She was about to celebrate her second birthday when Taehyung told Jimin that IVF was a success and that little Su-Me was going to have a cousin.

After all the things that had happened a year before, things had calmed down enough that Taehyung thought they were finally ready. After the events at the church, his mother was very weak. She decided to step down sooner and asked Taehyung to take on the role as Head of Council sooner. After all the members had been fully examined, it seemed that none of them knew what they had been involved in. Elder Hae-Seong had used Mrs. Kim's powers with his own to link with all the members of the council and convince them that his plan had been the right thing for the people.

After his death, his hold on them had passed and they could not remember any of what had happened over those years they had been manipulated. Taehyung took his time explaining everything that had happened and rebuilding the council little by little. He had worked long days trying to rebuild everything they had lost during that dark time. After a long year and a half, things finally fell into place and the council had been healed. That is when Taehyung could finally relax and think about growing their family. Jungkook had been nothing but supportive and patient during the time Taehyung was hard at repairing the Council, and when Taehyung said he was ready to add to their family nothing made him happier than saying yes.

Life had finally felt right again, and it seemed like it was the perfect next step.

The weeks following the visit where they heard the babies heartbeats was spent with Taehyung visiting every baby store in town and buying every gender neutral item he could. Jungkook knew he was going overboard, but he was happy to see Taehyung so excited. The nursery had been fixed to accommodate two little ones as soon as their parents heard the news, and there hadn't been a day when one of the parents didn't stop by with some kind of baby item. To say they were excited would not even being to describe how they acted.

The call came one day when Jungkook and Taehyung were relaxing together watching a movie, the call with the results of the genetics test. Jungkook answered the call and Taehyung pinched him and told him to put it on speaker so he could hear too.

"Hello Taehyung and Jungkook! I am calling to share the results of the genetics test we did a couple of weeks ago. Sorry it has taken me so long to call, these tests take quite a bit of time." The doctor said apologizing.

"We understand, but everything is ok right?" Taehyung asked a little worried.

"Yes, both babies do not have any genetic conditions that we usually test for! So, they are very healthy! The exciting news though is about what they are." The doctor said.

"Oh, ok! What is it?" Jungkook asked.

"It looks like one baby is a fairy and the other baby is Amarok! Congratulations you two and I look forward to seeing you at the next scan when we find out their genders! See you soon!" The doctor said ending the call.

Jungkook and Taehyung were both stunned.

"One of each!" Jungkook said happily.

"Oh my gosh!" Is all Taehyung could say before jumping into Jugkook's arms and kissing him happily.
