*YOU ARE MY LITTLE HERBIVORE*

After saying that, Lucas walked off without bothering to tell her anything and she quickly ran to catch up with him.

"So where are we jogging to?" She started the conversation while trying to keep up with his long legs.

"We are going to jog around the castle." He answered without stopping.

Lisa stopped and blinked at him. Was he talking about this castle?. The very castle they were in that was the same size as a state?.

"That's standing and not jogging." He informed her and she started jogging, which he joined her by walking.

' It was in this same situation that they met.' Lisa remembered it vividly.

While they jog. No cancel that, while Lisa painfully jogged alone, the maids quickly scrambled out of the way seeing as their prince had found someone new to torture.

Lisa gasped, using her hand to fan herself as she felt the sweat trickling down her face. She sat on the floor and breath heavily, holding her chest.

"We haven't even reached half of the castle and you are already like this" He looked at her in disappointment and shook his head sadly.

'How come he didn't have even a drop of sweat on him!?' She shouted in her head.

"What I said was right, you are badly out of shape." He told her like a teacher assessing his student.

"Lucas can we stop, I'm really tired." She gazed up at him from were she was sitting. When he had said that they were going jogging she didn't know that it was meant to kill her!.

He smiled mischievously and said" Okay, if you're tired we can go and get a snack from the dining room."

Lisa quickly got to her feet, using all the last energy she had and asked excitedly" So how far is the dining room?."

"We have come quite far from it but don't worry it's just on the other side of the castle."

The smile on Lisa's face cracked before completely vanishing"Just?"

"Come on, the earlier we move the earlier we get there" He told her while walking off to where they came from.

Lisa lazily dragged her feet and followed Lucas who looked like he was having the best time in his life.

After walking for a while, Lucas opened a big double door and revealed a long dining table that had multiple seats on it. Lisa stared at the dining like it was her heaven that was given to her from the gods.

"Yes!" She shouted and ran to the table, taking a seat before Lucas could.

The maids came in, serving delicacies after delicacies. There was roasted meat, boiled potatoes, and so on. Lisa was literally salivating as she watched different maids coming in with more and more food!.

She picked up her spoon, but couldn't decide what to go with first. At the far corner she saw something she had never seen before. It was a different meat and it looked like it was calling out to her.

'What am I thinking?' She internally face palmed.

Meat?.

Calling out to her?.

She was losing it.

She looked at Lucas, about to ask him to get the meat for her but froze when she heard what he said.

"Take all this food back, lady Lisa would like to have only vegetables and by vegetables I mean only leaves."He paused and glanced at the meat that Lisa was looking at earlier"Except that one."

The maids at first were confused and looked at Lisa for confirmation but Lisa looked even more confused than them. Not wanting to go against their master, they all started packing the food back and Lisa almost cried at the sight.

"You!" She pointed her finger at Lucas and he pushed the finger down using his hand.

"Yes me?" He answered back nonchalantly and he received a viscious glare.

"As my guardian aren't you meant to listen to me!?" She questioned him angrily and he laughed.

His laugh echoed throughout the room and she stared at him, flabbergasted. His laugh was so beautiful.

"Where did you see it that the guardian is meant to follow their protectee orders?."

Embarrassed, she averted her gaze from him and looked at her spoon longingly. If not for this guardian of hers, she would have been enjoying her meat with this very same spoon.

"Don't worry spoon, some day we will enjoy that meat together." She told the spoon lovingly and it was now Lucas's turn to be speechless.

'Was she talking to the spoon?'

The food that Lucas had ordered the maids to bring had come, and a single maid dropped the plate that was full of leaves in front of lisa. The maid passed Lisa a glance of pity and went on her way.

Lisa picked up her spoon and poked the leaves that looked good but she wasn't getting any calling that she felt from that meat. The passion she felt earlier wasn't there.

While she stared at the leaves, she stole glances at Lucas who was gracefully eating the meat she had fallen in love with. The sight made her want to cry. It was meant to be her enjoying the meat!. She quickly tried to steal another glance but ended up locking eyes with him.

"What?" He lifted a brow and dabbed his lips subtly. "You don't like the food?"

She glared angrily at him and replied" What made you think I will like leaves!?"

He looked at the leaves and looked back at her sober face." I was told deers eat leaves, so I gave you some to make you happy."

Lisa opened her mouth to say something but closed it back. He had always called her his little deer and she accepted it as a nickname but this...this was too far!.

"I am a human being and I like meat!." She said, gritting her teeth at the end.

"You are my little herbivore and you like leaves."He answered her mimicking the way she said it to him.

Lisa took a deep breath and smiled at his calm face.

'Once again I wonder if killing a guardian is considered a crime.'
