the force of there punch was equal pushing them both back, but they went back into it again throwing punches and dodging or blocking them, layla was obviously more skilled than grimm was but he was strong enough and fast enough to dodge and block her punches that is until she added kicks to the mix, she started kicking to his legs making his knees buckle then punch him pushing him back a little by little, this continued untile grimm jumped back and concentrated bringing out his flames and layla did the same, the launched there flames at each other but grimms flames where slowly pushing layla's back till she leaped to the side dodging his flames which burned and melted everything in it's path

those flames are really hot if they can do that, I have to avoid getting hit or I'm in serious trouble

Grimm launched a barrage of fire balls at layla, she kept dodging them but now it was at a stand still, he couldn't hit her and she couldn't get close to him, she tried countering with flames of her own but grimms flames just over powered her and kept coming

She charged her self up and this time flames covered her body, the ball of fire formed again but layla didn't fire immediately rather see was charging up her attack

Chains binded grimm holding him in place and this time she used her holy manna cus it had the effect of multiply a person's magical power unknown to her it was doing more than just holding grimm at bay,

Grimm screamed as the chains were burning his skins and cursing him pain worse than the fire attack he used earlier, course of the pain he lost focus and his and he lost the struggle and was hit by her flames sending him flying. Holy manner didn't just affect a person's magic but also any ability the person had but it was only unique to the demi humans as they where one of the two species with powers other than magic making this even more painful for grimm as it burning him cursing him pain.

His body slowly came back as he walked towards her and his scythe once again materialized, see this she got herself ready sensing the fight was far from over. Surging with energy and rage grimm swang his scythe and a line or energy flew from the scythe towards layla as fast as a bullet

the attack hit the force field and it held up the attack till is disappeared but that was when grimm was directly Infront of her and swang the scythe making direct contact with the force field and it shattered like glass hitting layla directly on her body sending her flying and crashing into a pile of junk. The cut was deep and looking at her you could visible see her beating heart

I can't believe it, he wasn't joking when he said he would kill me Layla thought as she couldn't breath, her blood was flooding her lungs and in a few minutes she would be dead
