Clank! Clank! Clank!

The sound of the cans falling and as I searched the air if there are food and equipment's to be found inside this dusty convenient store

Huff* "This area is clear."

I slowly sat down beside the refrigerator opening a can of beer while hearing a silent noise in my surrounding.

Pop! Hiss~ "It's been a whole 2 months where all humanity disappeared" Gulp~ Gulp!

Sigh~ "Except for me."

While my present mind is drifting away muttering the past while drinking the can of beer.

I woke feeling tired in my bed having a feel of heavy shoulder pain a long with the numbness of my legs.

"Ugh!~ this is terrible start."

I winced as I dragged myself out of bed, the weight on my shoulders increasing with each movement. I slowly stood, limbs complaining as I limped into the bathroom mirror, frantically hoping the reflection staring back would reveal a glimmer of vigor for the day ahead.

"Look at this guy."

I mumbled, pointing at myself in the mirror. Shaking off the residual pain, I cleaned my face, the cool water providing a brief reprieve. After that, I went to the kitchen, where a steaming cup of coffee was waiting for me on the table. I walked into the living room, sipping my hot brew and catching up on the news. However, there was no signal when I tried to switch on the television. Browsing across channels produced only static, which perplexed me.

I instantly looked outside and saw no one, just odd vehicles strewn around the road. An eerie silence hung in the air, unnerving in its sharp contrast to the typical morning bustle. I furrowed my brow, a sensation of dread creeping in as I examined the odd stillness that surrounded my home.

"What just happened here?"

I whispered to myself, a knot in my stomach tightening. Returning inside, I hurried to my laptop, working fast as I searched for potential answers to the mystery that had shrouded the morning. Fear and nervousness overtook me, heightening the pressure of figuring out what was happening outside. While desperately trying to make sense of the strange silence and empty streets.

While browsing the internet, the only things are random trends and irrelevant information, with nothing casting light on the current situation outside. It didn't make sense to me that everyone just went, leaving an odd number of vehicles behind. Doubt and confusion lingered as I tried to make sense of the developing enigma surrounding my seemingly regular morning.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

When a can suddenly fell on the floor, I immediately rose and checked the aisle. A rat quickly ran away from me in the opposite direction, and I chuckled. The sounds drew me back to the present, and I strolled outside the convenience shop with a grin, amused by the unexpected visitor. I threw away the beer can and brought out a map from the backpack, tracing circles around the sites I had visited.

"Another area finished exploring,"

I reflected as I considered my next destination. The mystery of the people's disappearance as I scanned the map, wondering where to travel.

My eyes examined the map for probable destinations as I stood outside the convenience shop, wondering my next step. That's when I noticed an unusual building listed on the map, towering over the metropolitan skyline. I was intrigued if such a structure would contain vital survival resources.

I made my way home, the quiet streets adding to the mystique of the city's desolation. I quickly gathered the necessities: water, nonperishable food, a lantern, and a backpack to hold it all. A mixture of excitement and trepidation coursed through me as I fastened my homemade survival gear.

As I prepared for the journey ahead, I rechecked the map, confirming the position of the skyscraper. I took a deep breath and stepped outside, the unknown awaiting me as I made my way towards the towering structure, ready to discover the secrets hidden behind its silent walls.

"Woah! The interior of the building is so organized and aesthetic, no wonder this place is a high rated building."

While roaming around the ground floor building all I discovered are just full of scattered money and valuable statue scattered on the floor.

"Welp there's nothing valuable in the ground floor."

I continued to climb, eventually reaching the 50th floor of the structure. I entered one of the rooms, intrigued, and was struck with a scene that took my breath away: it was loaded with weaponry and highly expensive arms nicely arranged. The revelation hinted at a purpose beyond the ordinary and piqued my interest in the true nature of this prestigious structure and the secrets hidden beneath its perfectly ordered interior.

"This is not normal to have well-arranged weaponry lying around in this room."

With a puzzled expression on my face, I thought to myself. Despite the strange discovery, I couldn't overlook the situation's realism. With caution, I selected a couple of valuable weapons, tucking them securely into my backpack.

Undaunted by the absence of helpful discoveries on the higher floors, I continued my ascent to the skyscraper's highest point on the 65th floor. Except for the weapons retrieved earlier, the rooms produced nothing of worth to me. After choosing to stay for the night, I tried to relax by indulging in a drink. However, my search for food in the building's kitchen yielded only decaying leftovers that had been for two months. Undaunted, I cooked and made do with the tinned food that remained.

I glanced at the sky while relaxing on an open and broad balcony on the 51st floor of the building, mesmerized by the beautiful view that spread before me. The scene was breathtaking, and it made me question the wonder of my survival in this mysterious phenomena.

"Why am I the only one who survived this mysterious occurrence?"

The question lingered in the calm of the night, I mused aloud. I poured myself a glass of expensive wine after taking in the spectacular scenery, savoring the taste as I pondered the unresolved concerns that hung over me.

I walked over to the bed as I drank my last glass of wine, its rich taste lingering on my palate, the weight of the day's revelations and unsolved concerns falling on me. The silence of the building surrounded me with each step, a sharp reminder of the unusual loneliness in which I found myself.

I closed my eyes and thought about the next challenge that would await me in this new world. The riddles of the events that occurred in the globe. As I fell asleep, the mysteries it held cast a shadow over my dreams, suggesting both uncertainty and the possibility of answers.
