The Formation of Uniqueness

"You do realize that she is one of my best friends, I have all the powers to end the relationship even before it starts." Clara calmly stated.

"Yes, I completely understand that. In fact, I challenge you to do it. Tell her, that I am interested in her. I would want to see how events would unfold from there." Gil replied with no hesitation in his eyes.

"Then this is entirely a game for you. You want to see what would happen if you started getting interested in one person, is it?". At this point, the servant of Ishtar herself started questioning if the person she was speaking to would be taking this seriously, or would be taking it as a game, destroying the meaning of a close, intimate relationship.

"See, if you just want to play games, then I will not be entertaining you anymore. Explain to me exactly why you want to be getting into a relationship at this point, else you are not getting into a relationship anytime in your time over here in this educational center." Clara firmly told to solidify the situation.

"Okay, okay, I'll stop playing now. Look. I mean look at me. I am the servant of death itself. By nature, I am the servant of a very powerful god. Ironically, most things finally will end up coming into my domain. No matter how long something takes, everything dies in the end. Sure, it does take sometimes way too long, but even servants themselves are at the mercy of being judged by me. On the other hand, we have Kore. The queen herself. It's no joke, who Sakurai is the servant of. The goddess of spring is a very powerful divinity of creation. However, her main position, is the queen of the underworld. Persephone is feared by many for being the queen of the underworld. She is one who fears not even death, for she controls the domain of souls. As a queen on a chess board, she has limitless powers in the underworld. Kore is insanely smart and strategic. Yet, that's about the goddess that Sakurai is a part of. I still do not know much about the servant herself." Gil concluded his rather long monologue.

"Sakurai, as you know is one of the smartest people in our class, with more maturity than most others in our peer group. People often call her the pale princess of our class, and rightful reasons. Very few people are even able to approach her due to her rather quote personality. Yet, she responds to every person with a lot of positivity and kindness. She is smart enough to know if she is in a losing situation and how to effectively get out of one. Whereas, her powers relating to a servant, well, you perfectly stated them. She is insanely powerful in her domain and quite powerful outside it as well." Clara praised her best friend.

As both individuals stated, Sakurai was an interesting individual. Even as the narrator who is seeing this story unfold, I can see why Gil even starts having feelings for such a person. I mean, any normal person would. An insanely powerful and smart being, paired with one fearsome dominion. However, it wouldn't be a story that would need to be shared, had it been a normal romance story. Two students meeting each other, falling in love, and living happily ever after. We all long for such a story to take place in our lives. Sure, they have the powers of the divine beings that they control, but that can't be the only reason why they are getting together, is there?

"How many people know of these feelings of yours and what steps are you going to be taking to approach them, Death?" Adoren questioned Gil.

"Apart from the two of you, I want to inform servant of Benzaiten. Then I want to see which one of my best friends realize and then tell them the entire story. The truth cannot hide from me, since I judge all. Therefore, I thrive in the domain of information. As long as I get the information required, then I should be fine." Gil answered, with a small smirk in his face. He knew that as long as he would have the people closest to her, he could make something work.

"So, it's just Shikith and Arjun? You're just waiting to see which one of your two "best" friends realizes and then you tell them as well. You're getting a lot of people to wing for you here. Then why us? Why did you choose to inform me and Adoren?"

"Well, it's simple isn't it. You two are the closest to her at this point of her story. Let's not forget your divine domains either. The domain of strategies is yours Clara. You can guide me to unprecedented heights, to a point where I have always admired the relationship that you and I shared. Adoren, well it's much simpler to explain why her domain is also one of the strongest in this situation. Goddess of lust and love, Ishtar herself." At this point, Gil was just trying to satisfy the curiosity of both of his friends. Gil was no stranger to strategy or intelligence of his companions. He has firsthand seen the way that Clara took part in her fiancé's elections and Adoren's abilities to accurately judge the status of the relationships that people have with each other.

As someone who can just watch an entertaining story unfold, I sometimes wonder why individuals even fall in love. My eyes can watch the entire multiverse, and I have seen countless relationships, yet why did this one catch the eye of the supreme ones? I guess is that only time would ultimately tell.

"Then this marks the creation of a band of beings, who are now going to be helping in nurturing a relationship." Clara knew that there was something off in this entire relationship. She knew exactly how Sakurai is, yet she could not place a finger as to why someone who initially had absolutely no interest in her would take interest in a "Queen".

"Let's go! I can't wait to see what plan cooks up, because let's be honest, who does not enjoy a nice, wholesome romance blossom between two individuals? Isn't that right, Gil?" Adoren was excited beyond belief. She could now help one of her friends get into a relationship and she was going to be part of the team that makes it happen. With a determined look on her face, she pointed her hands towards Gil and then shaped them into a thumb up, clicking her tongue.

"Well then, my duty is over. Keep supplying me with tips and I will be a much more frequent member to this club, for I would love to get information on how to get closer faster. I am well aware that it's going to take a very long time to approach such a creature, but let's see. I'll catch you guys later. I want to get some advice from Sensei, that's where I am headed for now." Gil closed the door behind him and left the clubroom for the day.

"Somethings very wrong with this proposal that Gil has just put forth. Sakurai isn't just a normal human. Yes she is a servant and therefore has pseudo-divine powers that can alter the fate of this world, but at the same time, she's a messed-up person in the head. She constantly dreams of people getting tortured to death by her. She isn't exactly normal in the head. Sure, she is exceedingly smart and beautiful. I just don't know why I didn't have the heart to tell him. I guess I will have to just wait and feed him information in the direction that would lead him away from her. I don't want to hurt his heart, neither do I want him to get revealed of the true nature of Sakurai." Clara started explaining to the servant of Ishtar.

"Maybe it's the start of something much nicer Clara, you'll have to wait and see. Gil has the domain of death under his wing. I feel like he can manage anything that Sakurai throws at him with this status in our circles as well as his powers itself." She calmed the thrown off Clara.

"Let's just hope that she doesn't do anything wrong with him."

"Yo Sensei! It's been a while, hasn't it?" Gil said, as he slowly approached the Servant of the Goddess of knowledge.

"Interesting time to come, my child. I just started pruning my roses. Tell me, how may I help you?"

"You remember of the past flowers I have dealt with. I found a petal. A new one."

"Please tell me you are not going to be uttering those words, are you Gil?"
