Baphomet then said:
"I remember the Bad Ending I made for Ren Jidian in this world.... This world of Death. He was a ghost who could only watch his beloved live on without him." He chuckled bitterly. "That was really cruel, wasn't it?"
"Yes." Gabriel said.
"You know, sometimes I feel that way. A ghost on the beach." Baphomet said. "I would watch humans fall in love, fall out of love, live in pain and misery. I also watched them live with joy and bliss too, and it made me want to just slaughter them all. But I can't."
Gabriel knew exactly why, but didn't say it out loud.
Because in every human was a piece of Monad, and Baphomet still couldn't let him go.
