I was walking down the street, after getting some grade-A pizza from Ernie's Pizza Palace. I had got it for my date that was in, I looked down at my watch, three hours, when a lightning bolt struck the ground right in front of me. I went bug-eyed.
Holy shit, I almost died! Wait, why did a lightning bolt appear in clear skies, in the city where the buildings act as lightning rods? I began to run to my apartment, in fear of God apparently wanting to kill me.
Another lightning bolt struck down next to me, this time striking the street lamp. Fuck, God is really trying to kill me.
I quickly neared home, my apartment just seconds away, I looked into the sky, about to wipe my brow sweat when I saw the bolt of lightning that will take my life. The third lightning bolt came down and I died in an instant.
When I opened my eyes up, I was now in a black blank space with a doppelganger, a copy of myself staring back at me. I immediately began to shout at him, This dick killed me! "Why did you kill me, you dickhead?! I had just gotten a date, for fuck's sake! Was it because I stole that candy bar from the supermarket? Fuck you, man! I should kick your ass!"
The Omnipotent being wearing my face frowned at me, saying, "This was supposed to be a gift to another version of myself, a way of passing along my good fortune of Godhood, but you cursed me out?! Newsflash, Megan, your date, was only going to eat the pizza you bought with your money and then leave, never to be seen by you again. You would not have a relationship with her or have sex with her. For your words you have lost the choice of picking the world that you will go to."
I inhaled a breath, my eyes wide open and then yelled in joy "you mean that this is an isekai?!"
The Omni-me smirked at me, giving me the terrible news, "Yeah, and you just lost the right to choose the world that you will live your next life in. Choose your power so that I can be done with you."
I looked at Omni-me and immediately said "I want to be a Primordial Chimera of the Primordial species of Werewolf, Lycanthrope, Vampire, Minotaur, Human and Elemental Hellhound." I had thought about this back when I was still alive and kicking. It was that nagging thought, 'What would you do if you could choose to be anything?' This would ensure that wherever I go, I would have a high chance for survival.
Omni-me looked at me with a smile, saying "Even if you are a stupid version of me, you do make some smart choices. Unluckily for you, the world that you will be going in will be... less dangerous and more sparkly."
At that moment I realized where I was being sent to. I immediately turned around and ran. If I could escape, I would. While I ran, I yelled "I will not go to that godforsaken place where a teenager is stupid enough to go and fall for a being that has admitted to wanting to kill her! You can't make me!"
I looked back for a split second and just saw Omni-me, still smiling, "Have fun being Bella's brother." He said, his voice straining, trying to hold back a laugh. He then snapped his fingers and a force began to pull me from behind. I kept trying to run with all my might but I failed.
The moment that I raised my leg, the pulling forced me into the air and pulled me into a swirling rainbow colored portal.
