First is his stamina, with the skill Correxion constantly adjusting himself for perfection he can't win the fight with the skill calculating everything, from his own movement to his opponent possible actions, that's why he can't even last half an hour while fighting.

Secondly is his stats, even his Correxion can't help him if his body can no longer react. If he can defeat an enemy that reveal a second of vulnerability, but if his body can't execute the necessary move then Correxion will select a more possible move for him but in exchange prolonging the fight and consuming more of his stamina.

Third is his power, he could have defeated anyone else in terms of skill and techniques, but if the enemy is harder than his attack then he is helpless.

Fourth is his weapon, the Myriad Manifestation Umbrella can barely show it's all strength and form in the fight. Against a Naginata he doesn't have enough strength to contend if he uses the spear form, its gun form barely can do any damage and hit a level 5 adventurer, so he can only use his sword form.

Lastly is experience and practice, if a move is already perfect then Correxion no longer need to be activated lessening the burden and consumption on his mind.

Even when he lost the battle he is still happy to gain something at their fight.

Welf and Tsubaki were conversing in the living room about the earlier battle after Welf recover from the earlier shock he had.

"What happened? I can't see anything, and then she surrendered "

David looks at them weirdly with their reaction closely resemble to that questionable cooking anime in his past life. He knows that he can cook, but it's not exaggerated to warrant these reactions.
