The moment I looked over the railings of the balcony, the corners of Sven's lips stretched from ear to ear. He waved at me as if we were close friends while my face contorted. I looked around on instinct to see if anyone was around. To my relief, no one was there.
But when I set my eyes back to him, my brows furrowed. Sven was stretching his legs, lowering his body with his palms on his thigh. And before I could think what he was doing, he gestured to me to move away, which I instinctively did when I saw him jump.
It wasn't new to us vampires to jump higher than humans could ever. Since Sven was a werewolf, this height wasn't a problem.
"What are you doing here?" I asked, cautiously, staring at the man squatting on the railing as soon as he landed on this balcony. When he raised his head at me, he grinned.
"To chat."
"Get out." I pointed my finger to the side as my voice shook in anger. "Get out of here."
