33. Smoky Darkness

Back in the same rice field as when they fight the Charbidys as previously. Those two Justiciars flying in the sky while staring at each other and waiting for the movement of their opponent.

But, suddenly...

Rena who wore full armor till cover her head immediately charge her spear forward right at Farida.

"Cih! How rude! Wake up, Rena!" Farida doesn't know what she's thinking right now.

The girl in front of her was a traitor. She was also the cause of Tania's death when Jormungandr first appeared in the earlier week of Time Fracture.

But why, why did she feel sorry for her opponent? She should fight her with no pity! She should be able to stab her heart for once more.

Farida who managed to dodge took this opportunity to catch her stuck spear from the Rena's body.

After taking back her spear, a giant hole can be seen in Rena's heart. When she sees her opponent, the opponent in front of her was like a failed donut because she puts the hole in the wrong place

"Rena! If you're really in pain, you better say it! No need to hold back your suffering!" With a small wish, Farida tried to call the girl.

She raises her spear up and makes it face the sky. Her hands grip each other as if she were praying while holding her spear.

"On behalf of the Leader of Justiciar, I ask for your help! The Great Apate!"

A light enveloped the girl's long spear. Not only that, myriad chains also appeared from behind her and prepared to thrust as she desired.

"GAAAAH!!!!" Rena who saw the danger from the light immediately made herself even more enveloped by darkness.

If we look at it now, it's like black versus white. The spear and chain used by Farida were glowing by light and ready to pierce her opponent at any time. While on the black side, Rena made a shield of darkness that can bash anything.

"ZARK BASH (Dark Bash)!"

"Heavenly Pierced!"

They both cast their magic against each other. The spear that Farida used was thrown by her and then followed by a chain that was nearby. The luminous object shot towards its opponent.

On the black side, Rena charges her lance with her right hand towards Farida. In her other hand, the shield she wears will be used to withstand all kinds of the coming attacks.

The spear and the lance will collide with each other.

If Farida fails this time, then she will surely lose. Not only was it because Rena was about to directly pierce her body, but also because of her energy had already been drained away to unleash this magic. The only remaining magic she could use with her remaining mana was to land at the ground safely.

Black and White/Dark and Light meet each other.

The winner has been confirmed, Farida has lost. She slowly closed her eyes to prepare to accept this harsh reality.

"So it this here, that my tale will end?" She can't take it anymore.

Soon, that lance will pierce her stomach and kill her in a second.

'At least all my life has been beautiful. Meet my friends, become the leader of Justiciar, and can still remember my brother's name. All three of them will I remember to death. And I'll be at peace...' A sound of meditation of the heart in a sea of thoughts.

The fainted Valkyries and Justiciar regained consciousness and stared in bewilderment at the surroundings. Hannah who was in the classroom was also come out from there.

"What happened? Uh -?!" Celicia tried to stand up, but there was a heavy body was lying on her. "Naura? Why are you fainting on me?"

"What just happened?!" Ira who was suppressed by Dian's body tried to see the surrounding conditions. But from what she caught from their faces. It seems they don't know the answer either.

When she opened her eyes, Dian also did what Ira did and the result was the same.

"Hey you two, are you okay?!" Hannah tried to wake up the two unconscious Justiciars.

In the midst of the ruins, Windy woke up and use a powerful power to escape from the rubble of the building.

Shortly after all of them woke up, they tried to gather into one group despite they are in different factions. No one can blame what is happening now. Something unexpected suddenly appeared in front of them.

"What do you think Deviant Justiciar is planning?" Celicia tried to ask the other three justiciars.

"No, we do not know at all the reasons behind her betrayal." Hannah looked at the ground while putting a gloomy face.

"Maybe Dian can answer..." Windy still bringing her hostility toward Dian and tried to get the girl cornered.

"If it's Valkyrie, the path is clear. They want to use the World's File for themselves. But if for Justiciar?" Dian just repeated her sentence while raising both her shoulder.

"It seems that these discussions are useless. We must find Farida, immediately!"(Celicia)

"Let us look for it with a map!" Hannah thumps her own chest.

"Please!"

"EYE OF THE MOON!"

A map of this whole city was formed in front of her, and there are some dots that appear around the map. That dot indicates the location of the other Justiciars. So, by that means, Farida's location was in the middle of the rice fields, and the same rice field as before.

"Why did she is there?" Ira asked in puzzled.

"I don't know, but we have to get there soon!"

By those feeling, those J's and V's went to Farida's place together.

"Looks like they really can be cooperated..." Randy stares into the sky to where the J and V are flying.

"Boss, you must hurry up!" Dalor's orders.

"Yes, I know..." said Randy using a lazy voice.

They already talked about this while hiding earlier.

At first, they discussed and tried to guess. But it seems that their discussion came to a point where they found a bright spot.

"Rena was aware of Apate's name, and because there was no one she could help. She has to do this by herself. Unfortunately, the girl's magic was explode because of Apate hatred of her and makes her become consumed by the darkness of her own magic..."

Sooner or later, Randy had to hurry to seal Rena's necklace. If not or late, something bad will come.
