Mother's Love

It was almost dusk by the time they all got there. Ava and Lola were nervous to see her. They couldn't stand the sight of seeing her suffering again .

They inquired about her at the front desk and was told to contact them . Vanessa had to call Bobby who came out to show them the way in.

The door was pushed open by Bobby as Lola and Ava hesitated in entering the room praying it wouldn't be an awful sight.

" Come in or leave" said a husky voice from the room which seemed tired and weary . They stepped in afterwards fixing their eyes on a sleeping Audrey with machines attached to her mouth and nose . Lola lost her nerves covering her mouth with her hands on seeing her breathing through machines. Though she tried to make it inaudible but it was obvious she was sobbing.

" How did this happen? Asked Ava sitting beside her holding her warm hand sorrowfully while Vanessa crunched down at the other side of the bed stupefied.
