Ch 72 – A New Beginning

As I look at the grassy field in front of me with a wide smile, I already knew what I want to do.

With the plan already set in mind, I look at my system one last time with a melancholic smile.

"Well, there's no turning back now!" I said as I clutch my chest and pulled out a golden orb and felt the system leaving my body and chuck it inside my storage space but that wasn't the end.

I took out my Ice Dragon Bloodline by reverting my body to the time I didn't have it as I felt myself getting weaker than before, but it was fine because a new start is about to happen.

With a determined heart, I did the last thing I needed to do and pluck out my two cheats and also chuck them inside my storage space as I became a weakling once more.

"Uwah, I'm so weak right now," I said with a smile as I flex my muscles with most of my defined body now gone but I'm still athletic even with my reverted stats.

"Now it's time for the final step, two cheats sacrificed for two new ones, come on time-space gacha! Give me a broken cheat!" I said as I activated my power to do a thing I haven't done in a long time, doing a gacha to gain a random quirk, but now it's for cheats.

With bated breath, I slowly spin the "wheel" of fate as thousands of timelines and worlds flash through my vision which was blurred enough that I won't gain any info about them as I waited and waited until two chosen cheats directly went towards my body without me knowing where they came from with knowledge flooding my mind in an instant.

"Evolution and Limit Breaker… Hououin Kyouma is back again into the fray!" I shouted as my clothes started to rapidly change, soon, my hair became pure white while a pair of glasses donned on my eyes. With a white shirt behind a white lab coat along with a black pair of pants, my persona Hououin Kyouma is back again with new cheats.

"Now for the last act, to be an official reincarnate," I said with a smile as I remembered how the heroes were summoned.

Inside the royal palace in the royal capital, the heroes were randomly summoned at random times with dedicated guards watching the place from then on, and coincidentally, it seems the 10 reincarnates are staying at the capital so they could come to greet me instantly.

With a wide grin, it's time for the next act in this world.

As I directly teleported inside the summoning room where the reincarnates appear, I made a beam of light shot from the sky towards this place to indicate that a hero has appeared as I opened my eyes with my theatrical play now starting with the startled guards looking at the beam of light that enveloped my whole body with raised spears.

"W- what?" I said while lying down on the ground as the beam of light receded with the guards now being able to see my appearance.

"A- A REINCARNATE!" shouted a guard with wide eyes as they looked at me in revelry.

"A reincarnate?" I said and stood up from the ground while patting my coat as one guard rushed away from the room to probably get the royal highness.

"Where am I?" I said and looked around the room with a curious face.

"R- reincarnate-sama, we- we will explain everything to you shortly, p- please wait over there for a while," said the guard as I just nodded at him with a nonchalant face and walked around the room with a curious face.

"I- I can't believe there would be another reincarnate," said the guards in a hushed voice to one another.

"Y- yeah," said another guard as I waited for the other reincarnates to appear.

And soon, the reincarnates did appear as they directly teleported towards the room with the guards hurriedly getting out of the room while I looked at the nine reincarnates with a raised eyebrow.

"An undead? Never expected to see one in real life, suddenly appearing here and being greeted by medieval-looking guards, now magic? This day is a bit hectic" I said with a chuckle as Kilt walked toward me.

"It's nice to meet you fellow reincarnate, would you mind following us for a bit so we can explain everything to you," said Kilt with a smile which surprised me a bit.

"Hmm, why not," I said with a smile as Don nodded and we teleported to a certain room with specifically nine seats.

"Wow, a bit rude, no seats for dear little me? A bit saddening" I said with a chuckle as the others look at me in curiosity because who would have expected a 10th reincarnate to appear.

"Well I don't mind sitting on the floor for a bit," I said and just lied down on the floor without shame and waited for the nine to take their seats.

"So, what is this place? How am I here? Why am I here? How is that guy an undead skeleton?" I asked with a blank stare towards the ceiling.

"You were reincarnated into this world to defeat the demon king, we are called the Reincarnates who were summoned by God so we can bring peace to this world," said Kilt towards me as I got into a sitting position.

"So the basic hero versus Demon King shenanigans? I'm not believing you" I said while rolling my eyes as I stood up and prepared to leave the room and secretly grinned inside my mind.

"Wait!" said Flare from behind me as I turned around and looked at her with a blank stare.

"Tell me, why would a random God just reincarnate me?" I said with a monotone voice.

"We don't know, but all of this is real," said Flare as I just sighed and ruffled my hair.

"So if this is all real, what is my cheat? You know, the usual unique power all reincarnates get from those trash animes?" I asked.

"You'll instinctively know it, it's a feeling," said Kilt as I just nodded and closed my eyes while they looked at me with curious eyes, including Don surprisingly as his soul fire eyes could somehow convey emotions.

"Oh, that's a surprise," I said as I looked around the room and grabbed a random decorative sword by the side while they wait for what I will do.

"Oh, so it's like that" I muttered as I felt my muscles rapidly getting stronger and evolving to become accustomed to the sword which shocks me a bit because the evolution was a bit… weird on how it felt because it's like getting a weird massage that brings a great amount of satisfaction.

"Hey mister black-haired person, you mind doing a quick spar against me with the sword?" I asked Kilt as he nodded and also grabbed a decorative sword by the side.

"I'll go easy on you so you don't need to worry," said Kilt as I nodded while we walked to the side where we can do a quick spar.

With that, I swung my sword towards Kilt as he blocked it with ease, and with that single action, I could feel my prowess with the sword rapidly increasing as my brain started to evolve to be one with the sword.

With the next swing, it was already better than before as my muscles rapidly develop to an unnatural degree while Kilt blocked it once more with ease but that didn't end as we got into a sword fight with tons of blows being thrown left and right and the others visibly saw me getting better and better and also noticed the physical changes that happened as muscles appeared all around my body that was made to optimize my build as a swordsman as Kilt became even impressed.

"Oh, so you have a progression cheat?" asked Kilt as we stopped our spar.

"You can say it like that, what about you? What's your cheat?" I asked with a casual smile while throwing the sword toward him.

"You could just say it's something close to being a gamer but much simpler," said Kilt which didn't really surprise me.

"Well that's cool, I guess I'm the 10th Reincarnate of the group?" I asked them as they nodded at me.

"It's nice meeting you all, the name's Hououin Kyouma, Hououin's my family name," I said to them with a smile as I even felt my body evolving all this while as I can breathe better! Breathing! I can breathe better!? What!? This cheat is so op!

"It's nice to meet you Kyouma, my name is Kilt," said Kilt as he sat down on his chair.

"I'm Flare! It's nice to meet you!" said Flare with a wide smile.

"I'm Don Will Dead, glad to have you on our team," said Don with a raspy voice and remembered what the witch previously said to me, there was some truth to it but I know she hid something from me so maybe the reincarnates are not that evil, except for Louis who seems to have become a better person since the last time I saw him.

"I'm Honda Yuuya, family name is Honda, so are you a scientist or something?" asked Honda.

"You can say that," I said with a smile as I leaned on a wall while I could feel that my lungs are getting better by the second, the evolution is changing me to a slow degree, like my strength reached only about C rank but if it continuously evolves, then I'd be a force to reckon with in no time.

"The name's Louis Crawford, it's nice to finally meet a new reincarnate," said Louis with a smile as I nodded in response, that's progress, he's not a dickhead anymore.

"I'm Shijou Yukiko, it's nice to meet you, I could treat you to a meal later," said Yukiko as I nodded.

"The name's Imerda Pinata," said Imerda with a smile, and once again, the witch lied to me because it seems like she doesn't have that much of a control over the princes… or maybe she does.

"I'm Anastasia Melokva, you can call me he or she, I don't care," said Anastasia.

"Hmm, are you those Twatter people who go by pronouns?" I asked with a curious smile.

"No, I was just a man before I reincarnated just like you," said Anastasia.

"Oh, well that's sad, at least I still retained my previous body unlike you," I said with a smile.

"I'm Roro Sendiger! It's nice to meet you, I'm a slime by the way" said Rodo with a smile as I nodded.

"Now what?" I asked Kilt as we finished our introductions.

"We need to greet the king and announce your presence to the world," said Kilt as I just nodded in response and prepared for the hectic announcement that is about to come.
