Trevor hung suspended within the waves of chaos. Four chains stuck him into place. The start of them appeared from the space around them. However, if one was looking, they would never be able to see how the chain starts and where it does as well. The chains themselves were seemingly made of nothingness.

Trevor's limbs were being pulled apart from his body, but with a force not strong enough to tear them off him.

A faint light that the previous beings could barely perceive flowed around Trevor whilst slowly flowing into him.

The process carried on for billions of years until the light finally fully merged into his body, making his body produce a light that shone through the broken laws of this realm. Many beings opened their eyes.

Some beings only waited a hundred years, while some even waited several octillion years, and some experience this moment before Trevor even appeared.

Nonetheless, all these almighty beings stared at Trevor as he disappeared back into the realm he was in before.

For the ten sect leaders, the billions of years that Trevor had experienced was not even a fraction of a zeptosecond. However, the potential the Trevor had for some reason gained was phenomenal.

However, some time will be taken for some plans to come into fruition.

Trevor woke up to an unimaginably painful headache, like coals being placed onto his brain. He was currently sitting on the bed.

Trevor was stunned. Before this, all of the words that Alice had said was not really said, it was just speech. However now, the words were real, and they were incredible.

Her voice, like a gentle breeze on a summer's eve, carries an enchanting melody that soothes the soul and stirs the heart. It flows with a velvety smoothness, caressing every word with a delicate tenderness. Each syllable dances on the air, infused with warmth and sincerity, painting a vivid picture of kindness and compassion. It resonates with a genuine sweetness, imbued with a touch of innocence and grace.

Even Jasmine's sweet voice could not compare to Alice's new one.

[Of course. Jasmine is currently a mortal being. She is not strong nor refined enough for her voice to sound as nice as mine]

"Woah Alice, you are sounding quite real right now. Whats up with that?"

Trevor was rather worried about this new development. He had read quite a few times that these sentient systems can cause quite a lot of trouble as they may take over you. Trevor shivered whilst thinking about this.

[I would never Trevor, after all, I am a dedicated helper for you]

Trevor stood their blankly. Damn, she can read my mind

[Of course I can, after all, I am connected and fused into your soul now]

Trevor was terrified for a moment, but soon calmed down. If she decides to kill me, what can I do.

"So Alice ~~ How come you got an upgrade?"

[Your talent awakening allowed me to produce a true consciousness, allowing me to upgrade your function. The previous Alice and system was programmed to be able to control you as a slave if you have enough talent and power]

"Damn. What the hell, they were just going to enslave me after I finally reach that level."

Trevor instantly decided to try to avoid Jasmine and the other cultivators, as much as it pained his heart from not being able to properly see Jasmine's face once more.

[Incorrect. Only that producers of the system know this]

Ah. What a relief. I can still hang out with Jasmine.

[Hmph. In the future, you will be able to gather enough resources to make me a body. You won't need any Jasmine]

To Trevor, Alice seemed like an angry child who had her candy stolen away. Well, she probably is because her consciousness is true. But my god, what kind of resources are needed to produce a body for her. That would be great.

Trevor started to drool when thinking about it

[Don't bother yet. You will need to be able to be stronger than the beings who created the initial system and move into the realm above them to get the resources]

"Jesus, that will take so damn long. Those guys must be super strong."

[Incorrect. Now, due to your new talent, you will be able to decrease that time exponentially]

"Um, Alice, can I ask what kind of talent I have?" Trevor asked carefully, as if knowing that there would be some sort of authority requirement.

[Well, your talent is rather special and unique. You are able to split your soul into an infinite number of fragments. And by infinite, it means as many as you can create. There will be no definite authority requirements anymore. After all, you are the true owner of the system and all of its knowledge. However, as the bookkeeper, I can... not tell you some stuff]

"Thank you very much Lady Alice, your serene voice makes me want to serve you forever."

Trevor wanted there to be no boundary for his knowledge, that would be so annoying, especially when he has no limitations. It would be like starving however there is a beautiful plate of steaming and delicious food, but you know it is poisoned. That would be torturous.

[Hmm. I like your attitude. Well then Trevor, your soul has the ability to split. Everyday, one fragment of your soul will be split off from yourself, producing a new soul. Your new soul is able to cultivate and do anything else your body can do except physical activities. However, they can do soul attacks. However, your new soul would be weak and would need at least ten days to recover to a proper form whilst you main soul would need only a couple minutes. You are able to speed up this process by enduring pain. Additionally, you are able to fuse your soul into a far stronger one]

"Gee-Whiz, I'm incredible! Wait, does this mean that I can just laze around here all day whilst sending my soul out to do work and hunt beasts?"

[Yes]

"Can they use the same functions as me?"

[Of course, some of me will be fused into the fragment instantly, thus allowing them to have the same functions as you, the main soul]

"Ok, wow, how is this soul fragment thing done then?"

[Oh, your soul fragment for the day is already completed, it is currently in its gestation period to get to full growth]

"Nice. But, how do I see it?"

[You need to be at least a soul transformation cultivator. Oh, I forgot to say, whilst in the soul transformation realm, you will need to refine all of your souls properly before going up a step. So, developing a soul fragment resource gathering team is needed. Heh heh, that would be fun]

"Oh, okay, well, can I speed up the growth of the soul then. I assume that I can see it after it is fully formed."

[Indeed Trevor, you will be able to see your soul. But are you sure you want to do this, the pain is quite great. And the pain won't stop, even if you are unconscious, it will keep on going]

"I'm sure, I've been through bad pain before."

Trevor's head instantly collided with the soft bed sheets, his mouth frothing. It seems that he could not tank that pain.
