Chapter 22 Saya's pov part 1, some secrets better left unsaid

----Saya Takagi's pov----

My name is Saya Takagi, yes yes the same Takagi of TAKAGI Industries, From the same Takagi family that owns the security company, and the only Daughter that graduated from Harvard and had multiple bachelors on numerous fields, and lastly the one that will make all the people of this world bow down to my genius OHOHOHOHO- *ahem* sorry forget that last part~

*sigh* while I was still curious as to why my parents would send to some third rate academy, it was fun to meet a girl that was quite the gun geek her name is Miki Tsurugi on of the few girls that were okay to hang out with, as some of the guns she liked were manufactured from my family's company which is why if felt so good hearing some complement the guns we made~

While the school was boring at least I had someone that I could spend time with, although i stayed clear of Miki's two other acquaintances which were Takemi Komuro and Rei Miyamoto, while the way I had met them the first time wasn't the best, it was still... intriguing I guess?

But while i wasn't someone to judge people quickly i rather not get pulled again into one of their lustful hazes, yes they were D-Do-Doing it! you know!

And I got dragged into the fray!

To think my first kiss was taken by another girl!

But miki said it shouldn't count since it was between girls but she was smiling rather cheekily while saying that...

RAAAHHHHH!!! this is so frustrating!

Whatever back on point and the stuff was just a dream yeah just a dream and it never happened!

*phew* i stayed at this school for a couple of years before something bizarre happened on that faithful morning.

My parents failed to contact me, and everything went to hell, the dead came to life and chaos amongst the living had spread, it wasn't natural and they moved like they wanted to kill every living being in this world as if something was controlling them?

Did someone make some kind of virus to control the dead?

Or was it some kind of device?

Or the other possible scenario Are we being invaded?

As for magic pfft as if!

Anything and everything can be explained by science we just need the right information and tools!

I kept close to Miki as i used my wits to keep us alive and had her go to the hardware club as they should have something to help us fend off the walking dead and living bastards!

What? Did you think i didn't expect humans to lose themselves when facing these dreadful things?

It's in human nature that we'd try to distract ourselves from the despairing outcome even more so for those that give up so easily or those that were unsatisfied with society!

I will not let myself or my friends become some toy that others can use as they please!

the next interesting thing that happened though was a man on the top of the gym roof fending off the hordes of undead was wearing a strange...suit?

as if he was covered in some kind of living armor as it seemed to support him more than any regular exoskeleton My family's company had been working on for over a decade and the next thing that intrigued me the most was when he was creating weapons from the parts of the gym roof!

I first thought that he had the weapons hidden within his armor, however, when he did the process again the portion of the roof was disassembled then made into a gun!

How interesting!

how very interesting!!

even my family's current technology couldn't do such things!

this was way beyond anything we had currently, Crap i need to get a sample!

I need to know how it works!!!

But first, we need to survive when Me and Miki had arrived at the hardware club she started doing her magic, making a nailgun into a pseudo gun was haha she really is a gun geek~

the sight we were forced to see afterward was disgusting while i anticipated it, seeing it was a different level of disturbing, thanks to Miki and my handheld drill we managed to chase away and cripple some of the horny bastards including that other gym teacher that had been lusting after his students.

His ending? hah i didn't bother to check as a few nails in his knee and a drill in his shoulder made him pass out in the hallway, but the next thing my subject of interest did as we ran, was jump to our building and the legs changed color and changed in size for a brief moment as more speculations came to mind.

Was the person using that strange suit an alien or was it like that show i watched before where the suit was the alien? as the jump he made was impossible for a regular human to make even with the current exoskeletons as it would weigh them down and hinder their jumping ability!!

I was licking my lips in excitement as I wanted to know more about the man or his suit!

After some time we met up with Takemi and Rei as well as our school nurse and our upperclassman Saeko of the kendo club, we were all trying to get out of this building as those strange beast-like zombies were troublesome as Saeko and Miki had some trouble when trying to kill these guys while coming across some perverts that attempted to take advantage of the situation!

the school was being sieged by an undead that had large arms while we made our way to the opposite side of the building towards the school buses and vehicles.

when we got to the bus one of the people we tried helping elbowed me successfully knocking down as screams followed one of the students was being ripped apart by some kind of monkey looking zombie before it looked towards me then jumped at me!

The sound of gunshots followed as the zombie that was in the air was sent to the side away from our group and the one that saved me was the man with the suit!

the undead he saved me from tried running before the man had emptied a clip into the monster.

Seeing his efforts I believe he was trying to save us thus while everyone else was distracted i dragged Miki, the two lesbians, Saeko, and Shizuka our school nurse to the bus before something stupid happens...

And sure enough, the damned idiots outside of the bus began cheering out loud!

Haven't they noticed that the undead was attracted by whatever noise we made?

hell even the people with me knew better, as they frowned at the actions of the people outside the bus while i asked if we could drive away now, that plan was shafted as a loud roar followed before an object landed a little too close to the bus!

then the people started rushing into the bus my group was rather thankful of me pulling them into the bus rather than still be outside to do the same thing the panicking people were doing right now!

The next scene extremely beautiful for me as the man with the suit gained a strange hue before showing me a, more close up look to the transformation of the car as the vehicle was broken down and changed into another gun as the suit made it more obvious that it wasn't something a human can make!

I was drooling at the thought of getting at least one sample of this suit!

but my eye candy quickly rushed towards the large armed monster the battle was a brutal one but at least he came back HEHEHEHE I am looking forward to getting a sample soon~

----Saya Takagi's pov end of part 1----

----Somewhere beyond the galaxies----

Inside of a bright room that looked like it was some kind of super sci-fi place as countless wires and electronic devices looked like countless veins connected to a large orb that was embedded into the wall.

A shadow clad figure that seemed to be male from the prominent rough features was floating about like he was sitting on something was looking towards an orb that showed the world that was nearly overrun by the undead as the reports of the current groups that are trying to rule it, destroy it, claim it, or protect it, were being relayed to him by other beings like him.

one of the men was now reporting the current struggles and accomplishments of Jack.

"Milord, that armored man you wanted me to observe, Jack, has finished his first fight with one of your brother's creations and is currently nearing the soul shard again, shall I activate its beacon so he can claim it or-"

The man he was reporting to raised his hand cutting him off before replying.

"No, leave it as is, since the others will feel it too, we don't want the poor vessel to suffer like it did in the previous world, what of the champion?"

In the middle of the sentence above, one could hear the sarcastic tone of just how much he truly cared for the vessel especially when there are thousands of them so even losing one didn't really matter.

"She hasn't awakened yet, however, your youngest brother is ensuring that she stays alive before they meet the obstacle your sister sent, which is 'that' person."

the world that jack was in is currently a playground of 6 Powerful beings to stave off their eternal boredom, those that survive would receive a reward fitting for their struggles, four were to be the obstacles the people of the world were to endure, one was to help the living have a fighting chance and the last one was to ensure the safety of the holder of the bright soul AKA champion.

the last two were working together as they were the weakest of the siblings should they win, they'd gain a boost in power, while the weakest (Jack's pantheon) will gain a powerful warrior that will venture into the other worlds to slowly help him with his plans.

This was something the shadow clad figure knew about but didn't care so he waited for the next report.

"your other sister has been speeding up the spread of her curse that a good number of the undead had mutated should she keep this up the world will perish within a decade."

the man scoffed at the report before reminding the messenger.

"Do I need to remind you, that our job is to observe and contain everything to stay in one play area nothing more? why the hell should I even care for such a world? HMM!?"

The man began emitting an aura that darkened the room and put pressure on the messenger that has forgotten how temperamental and unpredictable his master was!

"you know what, you have just been 'fired'!"

the messenger that was being crushed under the pressure suddenly burst into flames as the victim's wails were muffled before dying within a few seconds, the man clapped out loud in amusement while laughing like a carefree child only to sigh heavily shortly afterward as that messenger was the individual that kept him updated on multiple planets meaning that he shot himself on the foot there but no matter what was done is done time to create more of them to play with and torment to stave the boundless boredom that gradually brings all immortals to the brink of insanity...

The man had one more thought though.

"that jack fellow, I wonder how he will react from finding one his lover's soul shards?"

A grim sneer appeared on his face before he summoned a floating black sphere then sent it towards the world of the undead before saying one last thing~

" Try to Keep me entertained mortal~"
