Chapter 2 upgrades, i spy with my little scope!

Surrounded by a large number of zombies, jack was troubled a bit since he had limited options, so he made a daring decision as he remembered that zombies that detect their prey through sound and heat meaning that his choice may or may not work.

he decided to eliminate what he could because if he managed to kill a hundred that would still provide him with a total of 2 upgrade points after the initial choice, So jack charged at the nearest zombie and caved the left side of its head in with a swing of his club it stunned the undead however there was no log stating that it was dead, so he swung again as if trying to make a home run with the zombie's head as it got ripped off of its neck before making an audible splat when it hit the ground.

The good news was the notification of it dying came along but the bad news was the original one he was after required 5 points and also after unlocking stealth mode and the branch before it Each mode had a branch that flowed like a skill tree and the number of trees he could choose from were 2 main modes, 2 support modes and large number auxiliary addons, each with their own specialties and passive bonuses like a game... then again after receiving this suit and the missions his very life became a game.

the undead began swarming him, as Jack made his first choice since there was a chance that stealth mode won't work against them or if his 'energy' was even enough to let him escape completely, He chose ARMORED MODE so that he can go around killing without any worries, the next choice once he reaches ten kills will be the STRENGTH MODE to speed up his kills, then when he reaches a hundred, STEALTH MODE will possibly be his lifesaver, it was a work in progress but it was better than being mobbed by these zombies as their current number according to the eliminate choice now reached past 2000.

Jack may have a nano suit, and he may have been strengthened a bit, but he will get tired sooner or later as the zombies were about a hundred meters away from him the nano suit screen notified him as the recently gained MODE was activated red bold letters.

Jack's weight increased by several folds as his suit gained a red shade while it felt stifling to move in this MODE at first he quickly got used to it before beginning his carnage as he charged into the nearest zombies ensuring that none of them could sneak up and flank him, he was trying to test the waters as jack threw punches and kicks to kill a few and sent some flying away while allowing one to bite his arm the armor mode was something that could stop anything as long as there was enough energy that could power this MODE.

As for the cost of one zombie bite?

it was a meager 2 points of energy the interesting thing was unlike it the game there was no cost on energy for kicking or punching an enemy while jack was tempted to try a power kick, but he quickly changed his mind, when he recalled the cost of even one charged kick in the game, the number of undead he killed quickly surpassed ten so Jack retreated to unlock the strength mode and to regain some energy!

while the undead attacks only deducted 2 points, having so many attack him at once was quite taxing on his suit's energy every sec reduced his power source by half a point while he tried avoiding their claws and bites as best as he could, he was still one person that just received this suit and with the numbers of zombies that was still growing in size the longer he stayed there Jack could only do so much as his Nano suit was still at its weakest simple pistols can kill him.

When his energy reached around 82 points the zombies were already pretty close to him, so Jack activated both modes at the same time as it turned out there was you can activate one main mode at a time, add one of the two support modes and 2 auxiliary options increasing the versatility of the suit, so nano suit gained a purple shade as it was fun using the two modes together as if being an unstoppable tank!

The ability of STRENGTH MODE speaks for itself, it literally increases the strength of the user by ten times!

His current form looked like an overly built man with arms that out of proportion with a large torso that was a V shape Jack was able to do so many things from tossing the undead around like ragged dolls to using some of them like clubs!

It was a wicked experience!

jack had to retreat a few times as the consumption of energy became 2 points per second but he managed to accomplish the third milestone and was halfway to the fourth but the annoying thing was the number of the zombies didn't dwindle at all!

in fact, the eliminate objective more than doubled in number!

so what he had to do now was run!

Jack changed his mind with the stealth option and chose one of the auxiliaries it increased his energy amount by 50 percent and the branches that followed were definitely enticing options

for a point each, the options were energy drain reduced by 25% this one had (??) levels meaning who knows how many points will be invested into it, the next one had increased defense by 25% it was the same as the previous one (??) levels, then the last one was another hard choice to ignore increase energy recharge rate by 25% with (??) levels!

using the first or the third one can increase the duration of battle time to get more free upgrade points!

but he had to make a run for it because the number of zombies on the eliminate counter was increasing even more rapidly, meaning that the infection was spreading even at an astonishing rate!

was it his fault? since he was making quite a bit of a racket and noise echoes even farther when it is dark...

The nano suit alerted him of new tactical options and one of the choices was something that he couldn't pass up on!

It was giving Jack three choices again and upgrading the armor was the best choice right now so he went to the nearest one which leads him to... a junkyard!

However on the way, thanks to how low the current specs of the suit it was unable to detect the person that was spying on them with a scoped rifle!
