Chapter 1 Armored dream, three options

My name is Jack Anderson, A person that got another chance to live again in exchange for helping a god to clean up a few hundred worlds.

With a limited choice of powers since the god used most of his ability to enable me to transverse into other worlds, I chose one of the options that can help me immensely in the long run.

As for the kind of life I lived, meh, it was a boring one since it lacked the action, fantasy a former paintball regional champion, I loved bows, slingshots, guns, anything handheld that could shoot, and I couldn't find any people that I could scare without getting in trouble, yeah I know a nasty habit to have so sue me...

Actually, Please don't, since some of the people I scared tried to forget that I even said that last part!

My choice was the nano suit from the Crysis game series. While IT was at its weakest, its growth potential was the best, allowing the chance to adapt and grow at a good pace.

Compared to the other two options, which were 'greater regeneration', something even stronger than wolverine, 'flame manipulation' as my initial choices since the other two were shitty compared to a nano suit that can grow according to what you give it.

----3rd pov----

Right now, it lacked the armor and stealth options thanks to Jack asking to have it disabled to be activated later which was why it was within the three since he asked for it but it still upped his overall abilities by double which was a good plus early so into the game.

but he still needed to avoid getting bitten until he regains the armor of his nano suit, but what jack that truly looking forward to was the stealth mode so that he could roleplay as a predator~ *evil smirk*

So the excellent bonus of this 'cheat' of his it that it can be upgraded almost endlessly as long as his suit can support the consumption of power but now he had to complete his objectives and get stronger as quickly as possible as in any zombie world it isn't the walking undead that he had to worry about the most but the humans...

His suit provided him with the objectives the lesser god wanted him to complete earlier, including the little cheat he can spam- *rumble*

First things first, something to eat!

----sometime later, Jack's pov----

Note to self, be careful with my current strength I felt kind of sorry for the two squirrels I grabbed since they became mushed-up flesh bags!

It was not a pretty sight. While I had some survival training, it was still unpleasant to see them in such a state, but they still came out good as tender barbeque~

Using woodblocks that were shaved by my nanobot covered hand to make plates and utensils, the shavings to help with my fire, and again the metallic hand to make the fire and set a few things to hold the meat over the fire.

After satisfying my hunger, I made my way to the city that could be seen taking full advantage of the suit in the distance. It helped regulate his overall physical state as some of the nanomachines made it into my body. The other thing I learned was from this information log of mine.

<<AGILE MAMMAL DNA HAS BEEN DISCOVERED INTEGRATING INTO SUIT>>

<<0%>>

<<15%>>

<<67%>>

<<INTEGRATION COMPLETE HOST IS NOW 5% MORE AGILE>>

...I underestimated the suit too much, As this was very unexpected when it happened in the game. It was with the aliens. Then again, there was no animal to try it out on in the game. I grinned widely since I could gain some additional bonuses from animals, and such might as well take full advantage of this too!

The downside was it took time for it to integrate the squirrel took a half an hour to complete how long will the other animals take?

so I hunted for a few hours using the crude tools at my disposal from a hand made bow that broke after using it a few times after using up all of my blowpipes with stone darts coated in the poison of my second reptilian prey which Sadly made the animals ran after i hunted over 30 different ones from some reptiles to birds so vigorously.

the first reptilian which was a snake gave me heat vision which was a boa constrictor before killing another one that happened to be a Mamushi I was lucky it didn't get me first and granted me with increased poison resistance the next following others gave me a slight boost in defense and agility again but I also learned that I can't spam the same species.

I found a bear that beat my ass none of my darts got through the skin and it had good instincts, but thanks to my armor I fended it off and escaped.

So I was forced to leave it be and targeted a few canines that slumped to the ground before giving me a slight boost in strength, the defense again, the currently one of my best suit's abilities enhanced smell.

It was unpleasant at first but it allowed me to find my prey more easily afterward with a weak yet useful tracking ability as for why it can be considered weak my target has to be within a hundred meters for me to find them any more than that then I lose them mostly due to being unable to retain how the smell of my target is but that will change later.

I found a few felines that acted weird that provided me with the enhanced jumping ability and enhanced hearing with a big boost in my agility and a slight increase in defense.

According to the message logs, it turned out the felines and some of the canines I killed were already infected which would explain why they were immune to the poison I used but since they weren't zombies yet nor were they human... there wasn't any bonus to claim.

But thanks to the enhanced hearing and smell allowed me to finally catch a few of the animals that I desperately wanted an 'eagle' at the cost of 4 bows but the benefits were worth it, its eyesight could take the place of the tactical scope and act as an upgrade for it!

Too bad I couldn't get wings or something like that, but it was still awesome to get the bonuses that were enhanced Sight, a major boost in agility, and slight fall damage resistance. So to recap everything I had gained as I waited for the night to come while eating the eagle, like it was KFC.

Heat vision, poison resistance, enhanced smell, tracking ability that needs getting used to, enhanced jumping ability, enhanced hearing, enhanced Sight, fall damage resistance, with the last one, I won't be trying any time soon.

by nightfall, my suit's stats were increased by:

strength by 69%

Defense by 34%

A whopping 122% increased agility

while there weren't any numerical values to rate me now but considering the suit increased my overall physical abilities by double this is me guessing through simple math lets say my initial stats are about 20 or so on each stat except intelligence and duh I believe I ain't very smart but at least I can get around~

So back to the stats.

Strength 20 X 69% equals 13.8 so now its 33.8

defense 20 X 34% equals 6.8, so it is now 26.8

while agility 20 X 122% equals 24.4 heh, so its 44.4

I like how this is going, but I have to get the city as the big green dot that I can see now over the city, and when I got a better look at it, the dot expanded then showed me this.

<<MAIN OBJECTIVE LOCATION>>

The other message made my face cramp under the suit's helmet

<<TIME UNTIL THE MISSION STARTS 14:22:07>>

Well, at least I was able to get some boosts before the time came even if it won't help much against thousands of zombies, and when I turned towards one of the roads leading to the city I saw a staggering zombie that looked oddly familiar...

AH! it was the one that bit a chunk out of the gym teacher's arm at the academy gate later, but that didn't matter to me.

As I needed to get my upgrades and this zombie will help me get the very first one that I even dreamed of having to be able to act like a certain xenomorph yes what I wanted stealth as I cared for my safety and amusement.

So using a wooden club, I made with my bare hands (literally,) I snuck to the zombie as best as possible. Which made me learn something about myself... I was very clumsy not that i can help it since I'm more of a gamer than anything else and the paintball games were more team plays and instant death matches as well as the fact that I know how to dodge.

On my way, my prey, I gave my position away to the undead multiple times but with enough practice, I'll catch up to the invisible hunter in no time and remember while I may have the suit I didn't have the increased defense mode at the moment so the zombies can still infect me if I'm not careful but i really fucked myself at this moment as a new mission popped up again telling all about it!

<<SURVIVE THE HORDE OR ESCAPE>>

<<PROVIDING TACTICAL OPTIONS>>

My Sight was covered by the grand number of undead as well as the tags above them and as for how many there were it was over a thousand not that I counted mind you, I don't have time for that but by the three options, I was given.

<<ELIMINATE THE THREAT 0/1,227+ WITH ARMOR MODE>>

<<ESCAPE VIA NEARBY TREES OR STEALTH MODE>>

<<KILL ONE AND USE UPGRADE POINT FOR MORE OPTIONS>>

...Hmm what should i choose?

well i hope you guys like it since it has been something on my mind and btw he'll be in this world for a while
