Newly Found Abilities

After a few minutes, they decided to go and look for the girl inside the school premises, they thought that this might be a hint for them to where they should find Eviery Cloak, maybe she is still studying and maybe this is the reason why Sephora dropped them inside the forest of the school.

They slowly stepped out of the forest and started walking towards the students on the school ground. Everyone are starring at them every time they passed through. Nathalie being at the front, and the two boys is walking after her, she halted and looked everywhere. Peter and Jacob stared at her back with a question in their eyes and waited for her next move. She then walked to her side where a an average looking girl with pale complexion, her hair is above her shoulders and is wearing a thick glasses, is sitting at the bench reading her book.

"Excuse me, Miss…" the girl moved her head upward to glance at her "Do you happen to know someone in this school named Eviery Cloak?" Nathalie added. She just shrugged her shoulders and moved her head side by side as her response and focused her eyes again to her book. Nathalie walked again and approached a bunch of students walking towards them, as the two boys are just following her.

"Hi! Do you happen to know someone named Eviery Cloak?" She asked.

"I'm sorry, gorgeous but we don't." The good-looking guy answered her and winked. Peter groaned with bitterness. "O-okay! Thank you." Then she walked passed the students avoiding Peter's sharp gaze towards her. She had asked every student they passed through until such time they decided to stop and sit on the grass to rest for a while.

After a few hours of resting, Peter with his sharp hearing suddenly heard a guy running from the hallway few meters away from their spot, shouting with a big smile flustered over his face " Eviery! Evieryyyy! Eviieeeeryyyy!" He yelled out of excitement. Peter traced where the guy was looking and there goes a short woman. Her golden red curly hair suits her pale skin, her deep blue eyes were round with curly lashes, her lips is as red as cherry. She flushed a smile towards the guy shouting at her and waved. "Simoooon!" She replied with a pitch tone and run towards the guy named Simon with a wide smile.

Peter snapped out and shoke Nathalie and Jacob to get their attention, his eyes were still focused to the girl on the other side of the campus. He couldn't explain how did it happen but he was able to see and hear everything clearly even in a long distance. "Did you guys hear that?" He transferred his gazed to the both of them for a split second when he got their response he then returned his gaze to the girl from a far not giving a chance for her to escape from his eyesight.

Both Nathalie and Jacob nodded unbelievably "How in the world did it happen!?" She said hysterically. "I think we need to get close to her first, before we find the answers to your question." Jacob seconded. As if they woke up from their dreams, they immediately stood up and ran as quickly as they could to the girl named Eviery's direction and hid on the nearest tree to observe both of them.

The girl hugged the boy excitedly the moment they come together and had a chat that made Peter, Nathalie and Jacob's mouth shut. "How was it? Did you passed?" The boy asked. "I must say, you did seeing your smile now that almost reach your ears." He added and smiled proudly to the girl.

"YES!!! Which is why, we will celebrate tonight. This is the best 18th birthday gift...ever!" She replied screaming in excitement. Then they started walking.

The three stared at each other as if they knew what each of them are thinking 'this must be her.'. They followed the two secretly making sure they wouldn't be seen by them.

When the two separated ways agreeing that Simon will just fetch her tonight to go to a party. The three started to follow her closely, as to Eviery, she started to walk faster when she felt someone is following them or her for a while now. She halted and examined her surroundings and when she didn't feel any movements anymore, she continued walking. "I know someone is behind me and been following me…" she halted again without turning her back "What do you want from me?" She added.

The three stared at each other not knowing what to do until Peter stepped out to let her see them. "Don't worry, miss. We will not do anything bad to you."

Eviery shivered upon hearing a masculine voice behind her. Panic started to build all over her body, she immediately ran as fast as she could. "Eviery, we just want to ask you something, don't be scared!" Nathalie blurted out. They were currently running to catch her. Suddenly, Jacob felt himself moving faster than his usual running pace and managed to reached and stand before her, blocking her way.

"Who are you people!? Heeeelpppp! Heeelp!" Eviery exclaimed out of fear. "Hmmmmm...hmmmm." Jacob quickly covered her mouth and bounding her softly making sure she's not hurt just to avoid anyone from hearing her.

"Please, Eviery calm down… we are not here to hurt you, in fact we are here to help you…" Nathalie pleaded. "If you can promise us that you will cooperate and will calm down, we will release you." She added.

"We just wanna ask you something, Eviery. You don't have to be scared." Peter added. She then nodded hesitantly and fear could still be seen on her face. When he felt that she had calm down he started to asked her a question. "Are you Eviery Cloak?" Her eyes popped out in awe.

"How...h-how did you know my name?" She stammered with a surprised expression. The three smiled in relief, thinking that they wouldn't spend more time looking for her any longer.

"Great! And you are turning 18 tomorrow, am I right?" He asked her again proudly. She nodded with disbelief.

"Alright. Allow us to introduce ourselves to you, my name is Peter." He said and placed his hand into his chest, bent his one knee and bowed his head. "Jacob here!" Said the guy behind her who was holding her a while back. "Nathalie." Said the beautiful woman with hazel eyes.

"H-hello!" She said nervously.

"We are a time travelers. We came from the past, 100 years ago to be specific and we are here for a mission." Peter said confidently and waited for her reaction..

Eviery listened carefully to him without any hesitation and amazement were evident in her face. Of course, she isn't surprised upon hearing that these guys are a time travelers. Everybody knew about time traveling do exist, though it is rare, since only few of those can travel these long from the past. It still amazed her knowing that she happened to encounter one, she's been dreaming to meet a time traveler. And there it goes, 'these people are surely amazing! What a happy birthday it is!' she thought to herself.

"Erhmm...Are you not surprised about our existence?" Confusion could be seen over Nathalie, Peter and Jacob as they looked at each other one by one, they couldn't believe this girl isn't surprised about who they are.

"Not at all. I happen to encounter someone before who is also a time traveler, who can travel through time but her's has limits." She replied casually as they started walking their way to her house.

"This world has a lot of unimaginable creatures and happenings that no one can explain, Vampires are the most common." She added.

"You knew about Vampire's existence!?" Nathalie asked and halted in awe.

"I do, everyone does. But I haven't seen one, ever." She said replied as they continued walking. "They say that normal humans can not see them and Vampires can not touch humans until they turn 18. And I'll be turning 18 tomorrow, so… I kind of preparing myself if ever I am going to encounter one of them. But I don't think these rumors are real, there's no reports yet, that would justify and no reports that a person was killed by a vampire." She added reluctantly.

Eviery stopped in front of an old two story house and turned around to face them. "This is my house…" she said while looking at them one by one and waited for them to move and walk away or whatever. "Do you still have anything to say or want me to do?" She hesitated when she realized no one moved.

The three looked at each other and talked over their head, the moment their eyes meet. 'What are we supposed to do now?' Nathalie looked straight into Peter's eyes.

'I don't know. Should we tell her about our mission?' Peter replied.

'Wait… can you hear me?! Did I say it verbally?' her eyes widened.

'This is strange. Master! I can hear your thoughts!' Jacob said over his head. ' I can also hear yours, Miss Nathalie.' he added surprisingly.
