Chapter one - The orphanage

The thunder cracked. Perched on top of an erroded cliff, was an orphanage. It had stone walls, built centuries ago. The pipes were old and rusty. The floors creaking with every movement - which was useful for the headmistress to know the location of all of the orphans. There was no escape from this place. It was built on a secluded island. There were no houses on this island.

A scream erupted from the basement. Mrs Torsney probably had fallen for one of her most hated students trap.

Emily burst out laughing. The clicking of Mrs Torsney's boots clicking on the steps made the other students tremble. Emily straightened her back, smirking. Mrs Torsney was enraged. She towered over Emily. Her forehead creased, she clenched her hands. She screamed, shocking the rest of the orphans, "HOW DARE YOU!! YOU HORRIBLE CHILD!! DO YOU THINK PLANTING A TARANTULAR IN YOUR HEADMISSTRESSES ROOM IS ACCEPTABLE?!! Emily smirked and then laughter erupted from her lips.

Mrs Torsney suddenly snapped, she grabbed Emily by arm and dragged her. Emily tried to escape. She just gripped harder, when Emily kicked her Mrs Torsney grabbed her by the hair. Emily fought it and ended up falling swiftly and hit her head. The room blurred. Emily heard the gasps of the other students and Mrs Torsneys growl. Then all her senses slowly faded...
