OBSESSION

Sometimes I think that Hannah has a death wish. I told her never to mess with Liam's temper. But she ends up doing it anyway for her pride. 

" Hannah, I need to speak to you alone, now."

She raised her eyebrows at me." I know you are against me in this, but I'm not giving up."

I have no other choice now. I dragged her away from the hall. It was easy to do as she was smaller than me. 

" What's wrong with you?" she yelled.

" I'm just saving your ass. I warned you before about this. You should not humiliate him in front of everyone."

" But I wasn't humiliating him. I was just trying to save a man's life."

My goodness! How can I talk sense into her? Ever since she got into this toxic relationship with Liam, she has lost her mind. I miss the old intelligent Hannah.

" Liam is a Drug Lord. He kills people every day and you have to deal with it! "

She was startled by my words. Well, someone has to tell her this. She can't be a Mother Teresa all the time. 

" I thought Liam was different. He isn't cruel like Hector-" 

" Both are the same, Hannah. The sooner you accept that, the better for you."

She was quiet for a moment. Maybe she is finally realizing her mistake. She is now regretting that she went against her father for Liam. But what she said next made my jaw drop.

" You are right, Cece. It's my fault this time. I don't care if he is an angel or demon. I love him and I should give up my morality and change myself like him."

I just can't believe this. She is giving up everything for him? I'm getting more worried about her now. 

" Good, for you. Now I have to run some errands," I said and left that place. I went outside to clear my head. It was very cool in the garden, but I didn't care.

I just can't believe this girl. She has all the signs of Obsessive Love Disorder. If I don't do something now, then it will be very difficult for Hannah. I have to make her sane again.

I took out my phone and typed. ' I'm available now. Please contact me, Mr. Patterson.' And I hit send.

Then I put on my wireless earphones and went deep into the yard. It was a convenient place. There were no cameras and no guards. The entrance was the only place with was heavily guarded.

" What are the updates?" asked Hugo. I was a bit disappointed that Mr. Patterson didn't talk to me.

" It's official now. She has Obsessive Love Disorder and we should treat her very carefully."

" And how are you going to do that?" he asked.

" I have a plan for that. I'll have to break her out of this obsession. The more we try to separate her from Liam, the more she sticks with it. So I need some time for that. Till then don't do anything that will sabotage the plan."

" Okay, You do it in your way. But we want her back to us within two months. Can you do it within that?"

" That's Fine. I can do it." I noticed that someone was coming behind me. I immediately cut the call. 

" What are you doing here?" asked a familiar voice. I was relieved that it was Ricky.

" I just needed some fresh air." 

He kissed me gently. " I know what is bothering you. It's about Hannah, right?"

I shuddered as he said that ." How did you know?"

" I can read you like a book."

Oh my God, was I too obvious? If I go at this rate, soon I'll get caught again. And Liam will kill me this time. I should be more careful from now on.

" I just feel guilty. This is not even her. You should have seen her before she met Liam. She was such an optimistic person. I made her like this by involving her. "

He smiled at me. " Love makes people go blind. And you have nothing to worry about. Mr.Eaton will never hurt Hannah. "

" You gotta be kidding me?" 

He sighed. " I'm serious. I've never seen him this way. Hannah is not the only one who changed here. Even Mr. Eaton is a different person now."

I just grinned at him. This is one of the reasons why I like Ricky. He always expects the best in everyone. But he is wrong this time.

Rain can wash a leopard's skin but it can't erase its spots. The same way Liam is just using Hannah to screw with Patterson. And she just believes him over everyone else? I'll not let Liam ruin her. I'll do everything to save her from the cage of obsession. 

" Is everything alright?" he asked me.

" Yea, I'm fine. What happened to the con artist. Is he dead?"

" No, it was all an act to scare him. Now he spilled everything out. "

" Really? What did he say?"

" He was hired by someone in LA to act as Erickson Eaton. He doesn't know his actual name but he knows his identity. Now we are trying to figure out his face by the identifications he says. "

This Liam is very subtle. He knows how to play with a person's mind with all the acts. That's why he has been holding out this long. Even though I loathe him, I admire his wit. If I am going to work against him, then I have to be very careful. I should stop showing my emotions from now on.

But the most unfortunate part was, I had to betray Ricky again. I love him so much and I have to break his heart. But I have no other choice. I'm obligated to do this. 

" It's freezing here. Let's go inside," he said.

I'm going to be with him for very little time and I have to make my memories with him now. I pulled him closer to me and started kissing him.

" How about we do it in the bushes before leaving?" I asked him. 

He started gasping as I yanked him down on the grass and got on top of him. This is why I loved him so much. He is so shy that I have to make the first move every time. And I like to be in charge.
