Aurora thought Xander had completely lost his mind. But to her surprise, he picked up the shoe and walked towards her. Stopping in front of her, he stared at her for a moment before releasing a deep sigh.
"I have never dealt with a stubborn and challenging woman like you. You will be the death of me," he mumbled as he squatted in front of her and helped her foot into the shoe.
"I actually don't mind you dying right now," Aurora said with malice laced in her tone as he straightened his back.
Xander chuckled lightly and touched the tip of her nose but she swatted his hand away as if it was a fly.
"Sweetheart, believe me, that I will be ready to atone for my sins with my death just for your sake, unfortunately, it won't be enough to satisfy you, so I choose to live long instead."
