Chapter 286: Swordsman vs Golem

The bate was fierce, not a single moment did Akito let up as he fought the golem, after all this golem was actually really good in handling a sword. It was as if this golem is specifically made to counter him. Luckily the golem had the swordmanship of a proper knight.

In his earlier days in this world before he even met Iris, Akito had honed his swordmanship to an incredible degree to fight agaisnt the named swordsmans in this world, whether it was a retired soldier, adventurer, or a knight. After all his first defeat in this world was against a random swordman whom he knew nothing of what his swordmanship could do, during that time he had literally zero experience in actual combat.

Taking that as a lesson for life, he then train and gained experience to the point he begun to overwhelm any classes with his own technique. Better yet for all he knows, he is the only swordman who wields a katana in this world.

With that Akito tried his best to take down the golem, while it's maker is hiding in a corner to avoid getting involved in the fierce fight.

Using a silent dash and followed up by a swift cut aimed to the golem's neck, the golem itself then suddenly held its sword backwards, as he raised it to its neck level and easily blocked that swift attack with no openings at all.

Seeing this, Akito quickly took a huge leap back, as the Golem countered back with a swing, followed by a leaping slash.

Stuck in a defensive position for the next 8 exchanges, Akito then ducked down to dodge the 9th attack, as he slashed towards its legs, only to miss when the golem took a leap back before sending out a sword wave.

In response to that Akito rolled to the side to avoid the sword slash, as closes in towards the golem and thrusted his sword forward which was blocked by the golem sword. However the moment the golem successfully blocked the attack, Akito them inputted a lot more strength into his thrust, causing the golem to quickly deflect his thrust instead, while falling back due to the leftover force when he pushed away Akito's sword.

At first it literally shocked Akito when the golem managed to guess his intent when he thrusted his sword, but he quickly went back to his focused state as he ran up to chase after the golem while releasing another technique

"Tomura's First Tactical Sword form Megakuramu kuroi karasu (Blinding Black Crow)"

Using that technique, the golem's sight suddenly darkened the moment a crows feather appeared before his eyes as it temporarily blinded him with no sense for any direction, using this chance while the golem is still blinded, he then quickly sneaked up to the golem while initiating another move

"Tomura's Third offensive sword form Ken no Nami (Sword Wave)"

In a single slash, Akito sent the golem flying, as it crashed through multiple trees, before it landed unto a hard rock and fall to the ground with signs of it breaking apart.

Naturally Akito quickly tried to follow up, as he begun to tighten his hold into his sword.

"Tomura's Fourth offensive sword form 23-Pon no hakai no..."

However before he could finish its words, the golem suddenly repaired itself in a quick degree, as its eyes flashed yellow and suddenly appeared in front of Akito which was in the middle to using his stance.

"Too fast!!"

That was what Akito thought, as the Golem sent him flying and crashed to the top parts of a tree. As if it won't get any worse, the golem suddenly jumped high to follow him, as it slashed its sword towards him, causing Akito to crush unto the ground. With his innards bleeding from the crash impact, Akito forced his whole body to move, as he saw the golem trying to crush him by planting his foot on his head.

Of course the moment he dodged that attack, the golem suddenly swung its sword, which he blocked, only to be sent flying once more due to the strength feat the golem had used.

Crashing unto the ground, Akito quickly rolled back in order to enter his stance to fight the golem.

"Tomura's Second offensive sword form Takai kinchō (High Strung)"

Using three techniques, the golem was then slowly overwhelmed as it get damaged faster then it could repair itself. However the moment he tries to ignore the golem, the latter would literally recover on its feet and target him alone.

This time the attacks were relentless, as Akito tried his best to block and dodge the attacks, in that moment something surprising happened, and that is the golem is using a technique through the swordmanship of a knight.

Without any words, mana gathered at the tip of the golem's sword, as it slashed upwards causing a vacuum slash which destroyed everything it came upon. Sensing danger into this attack, Akito entered a defensive formation as he plans to counter the said attack.

"Tomura's First defensive sword form Tamari Mizu (Still Water)"

"Tomura's Second defensive sword form Bunkatsu katto (Splitting Cut)"

Using the first to silence the environment around him, which boosted his second attack and weakened the enemy's attack. Akito then executed the second attack with the intent to cut the attack in half.

However Akito failed to realize was the strength vacuum slash. So when his sword and the vacuum slash made contact, Akito almost spitted blood, as his knees bent in a perfect 90°, as he felt like he had hit a 12 ton speeding truck from above.

It was so heavy that the ground beneath his feet started to crack, causing Akito to react quickly and did a surprising move which caused an explosion which literally uprooted the ground in 1 mile.

In that moment blood was spilled as Akito was bleeding from his head and his right arm got skinned as if a sharp knife skinned him alive. From his head to the tip of his right hand fingers, Akito was bleeding while breathing roughly.

"Damn it! I didn't expect to get injured like this"

With that Akito realized just how troublesome is a golem.
