[Synchronization Space]
Synchronization space is a place where Shun can increase his synchro rate withe the champions he chose to synchronize. Each champion's synchro rate with Shun starts with zero, which embodies that it will take awhile and a long time for him to reach a 100% synchro rate. There are are only two ways Shun knows that he can use to raise his synchro rate, first is to win against the chosen champion until it reached its full mastery of skills, or to listen and achieve the same level of achievement that the chosen champion had down according to his general lore.
Of course Shun had tested this before, he used the first option when he chose Zed and chose to fight him and the second option for Aurelian Sol, when he realized that he literally cant pick a fight against a creature that is much bigger than a galaxy. In the end the most efficient way to raise the synchro rate is by going through the second option, after all that didn't involve dying at all.
"Choosing to re-enact my achievements and listen to my story eh? which one do you want? the newborn lore? or the general lore?" asked by Sun Wukong
"What's the difference?"
"The newborn lore is the story of my time in runeterra, the general lore is the story of 'great sage, heaven's equal'"
"!!!"
Hearing the meaning behind the general lore, Shun's eyes bulged out wide open as he didn't expect to receive such proposal. After all great sage, heaven's equal is a very popular lore that had been dramatized by the television and movies of the modern age in earth. This lore consist of his beginning, his rebellion, the journey to the west, and his redemption. a very popular lore in Chinese myths. It was so popular that his story even pans out to the west and the surrounding asian countries. It was to the point that he had multiple cameos and involvement in different works of art.
Sun Wukong, the monkey king, a great story that even people who are adept to myths finds it interesting. What's more the strength of the general lore to the newborn lore greatly varies. If the newborn lore in runeterra is great, then the story of the general lore cant even be compared top a measly newborn story.
"I'll choose the general lore"
"Are you sure?" asks by Sun Wukong
"Yes!"
"Your body might not be able to handle it"
"I'll find a way"
With that, Sun Wukong then sat on a rock that rose from the ground with a wave of his hand, as he then started the story from the very beginning.
"Alright! suite yourself... form the very beginning, there was a rock"
Sun Wukong's story begins with a magical stone on the Mountain of Flowers and Fruit. This stone, often described as a "spiritual rock" or "monolith," had been nurtured by the elements of heaven and earth over countless years, imbuing it with extraordinary powers and mystical energies. One day, the stone gives birth to a stone egg, from which Sun Wukong hatches. This birth is not ordinary; it signifies the emergence of a being of immense strength, intelligence, and magical abilities. Sun Wukong is not an ordinary monkey but a special creature destined for greatness. From his earliest moments, Sun Wukong exhibits remarkable qualities. He is described as extremely energetic, curious, and quick-witted. He learns and adapts swiftly, exploring his surroundings and discovering his innate talents and powers.
"I had everything i ever wanted as the monkey king, however i wasn't satisfied, so i sought to be a Taoist and learned about the immortals..."
As Sun Wukong grows and matures, he encounters Taoist teachings and masters who impart mystical knowledge and skills to him. This includes learning martial arts, magic spells, and the secrets of immortality, but the most noticeable spell he learned is the 72 transformation which enables him to transform into 72 different organisms. These teachings contribute to shaping Sun Wukong into a formidable and versatile warrior. Until the day his master started to ascend to immortality, once that happened, Sun Wukong decides to travel to find another path to immortality.
"That's when i decided to travel towards the sea palace..."
Sun Wukong's journey to the sea palace is often depicted as part of his quest for greater power, recognition, or treasures. In some versions of the story, he hears rumors of the riches and treasures held by the Dragon King beneath the sea and sets out to claim them for himself. As Sun Wukong reaches the undersea realm, he confronts the Dragon King or one of his powerful sea dragon subordinates. The Dragon King is a significant deity in Chinese mythology, associated with water, storms, and the ocean depths. Sun Wukong's arrival at the sea palace triggers a series of challenges and confrontations. The Dragon King and his minions may try to defend their domain against the intruder, leading to fierce battles between Sun Wukong and the sea creatures.
In the end the sea dragon was amazed by sun Wukong's martial prowess and decides to reward him by allowing him to choose any weapon from his armory, from that point on Sun Wukong met his magical staff Ruyi Jingu Bang or ryuyi bang for short
"Throughout my journey, i used Ryuji bang and rule all the demons in the land... of course my efforts were acknowledged by the immortals and was then invited into the immortal land to become an immortal, i was ecstatic... however i soon realized the discriminatory they showed against me due to being a demon and a monkey at that... they treat me as a servant, which literally enraged me until i cant handle it no more... i'm a king, i answer no to any discrimination so the great rebellion happened..."
Sun Wukong feels a deep sense of injustice and discrimination. Despite his immense powers, intelligence, and heroic deeds, he is not granted the recognition and status he believes he deserves. This lack of acknowledgment and respect fuels his resentment towards the heavens and their hierarchical order. Sun Wukong desires equality and autonomy. He resents the idea of being subservient to higher powers without being treated as an equal. His rebellion is driven by a desire to assert his independence and challenge the established norms that limit his freedom.
"In the end my demon army is defeated and i was imprisoned and captured into the depths of hellish volcano, but that stop me at all as i tried to escape that place and raise a war in the world of the immortals... unfortunately i was captured once more and was now then sealed into the mortal realm for a very long time"
Emperor Taizong of the Tang Dynasty in China receives a heavenly vision or prophecy indicating that he should seek out sacred Buddhist scriptures from India. These scriptures are believed to bring enlightenment and salvation to China. In response to the prophecy, Emperor Taizong selects a young Buddhist monk named Xuanzang to undertake the perilous journey to India and retrieve the scriptures. Xuanzang is known for his piety, devotion to Buddhism, and scholarly knowledge.
"I was freed by that naive Buddhist of course and the price i repaid him is by killing his lover... in the end i got the short end of the stick and buddha's power came out from that monk and suppressed me, that's how i got this head band on my head... after that as you may know, the journey to the west alongside the monk and two other demons he had subdued, the stinky fish and the ugly pig"
Hearing the story up to that point, a notification then suddenly popped up, causing Shun's eyes to widen in shock. after all it seems like he made the right choice.
