Chapter 37: Vampires and Werewolves

???: "Miss the plan succeeded," said a man in black wearing an all-black outfit on his body

???: "good, make sure to monitor him at all times and report to me when necessary," a cold and malicious voice of a woman said to the man

???: "Yes miss" the man bowed and then disappeared

???: "I wonder what you plan on doing" the woman stared outside the window looking at the setting sun

Lu Xie prepared their food as usual but today she made it not for two but four people. Today is the day, her fiance will officially meet her parents.

"Honey, what do you think of this dress? Is it okay?" An Yu came running down the stairs as she asks

Lu Xie saw wearing a simple sleeveless and shoulder less white dress with cloth running through her neck like an x mark.

She stopped what she was doing, stepped forward hooked her lover's waist pulled her closer to her body, and claimed her lips possessively.

An Yu was slightly taken aback but never the less she liked it.

"I'm so lucky to have such a beautiful and sweet fiance, you are so gorgeous baby SO GORGEOUS." Lu Xie stared at her a little greed in her eyes.

An Yu was very satisfied with her fiance's reaction and actions, she wanted to be presentable in front of her parents but also wanted her lover to be possessive of her.

"Thank you honey" she grinned showing her white rows of teeth

"Baby, go up on your shoes. I'll just finish cooking then will leave" Lu Xie kissed her forehead before returning to the kitchen to finish the dishes

An Yu went to put on her shoes and waited patiently in the living room while playing with her phone.

"Baby, I've finished cooking," Lu Xie said behind her

"Then let's go" An Yu stood up and walked to her fiance and held her hand

Lu Xie clasped her hand with hers then both went outside, waiting for them was a carriage like in an otome game. The carriage had no driver and it would be her horse would be the only one pulling.

She helped her fiance up the carriage and then also got in.

"Night, let's go home," Lu Xie said outside the window

"Neigh" night sounded then started running out of the mansion.

"Honey, is it okay without a driver?" An Yu asked confused

"It's fine baby, she has been trained since she was born, and also animals here have some intelligence" Lu Xie patted her head softly

"How about you look outside" Lu Xie opened the window

An Yu widened her eyes they were traveling in the sky, she suddenly became excited she had liked the sky since her fiance got to hold her and flew with her every time. She fell in love with flying.

"I thought I would be traveling by land I didn't think we would travel by sky," she said excitedly

"I know you like traveling in the sky plus this way we can travel faster" Lu Xie kissed her cheeks

"Hehehee I loved you the most" An Yu excitedly kissed her lover's cheeks and watched the view from the ground up in the sky.

Jiang Ji was excited the next day, his heart was anticipating and surpassing the overwhelming happiness he felt. He got out of his bed and then walked out of his room in a good mood.

His step was skipping as he walked showing his good mood his face had a small smile and his aura turned a little friendly.

"Good morning your highness, your breakfast will be served in a few seconds" a butler bowed while holding a white cloth in his right hand.

"Okay" Jiang Ji nodded and sat on his chair then maids served his food

He ate the food in a hurry, wiped his mouth, and immediately jumped out the window then transformed into a werewolf run to the border.

Transforming back into a human he took out the potion in his pocket. The potion bottle was relatively small like a first of a toddler.

Jiang Ji forgot how to ask how to use it, he was very excited last night and chased him away. He just shrugged his shoulders then opened the bottle and poured a lot into his hands then rubbed them together before wiping it on his face, neck, arms, and legs.

He took a deep breath, 'If this doesn't work I'll kill that old man' he thought as he stepped inside the vampire territory.

The pressure fell on him, he almost lost balance but gritted his teeth then stepped in further until he got inside the barrier. His legs gave out then kneel on the ground breathing heavily.

'Damn it ' he swore

Standing up his breathing returned to normal and he also noticed that no vampire attacked him when he entered the border.

He felt happy and walked with courage through the forest, he wore a mask so he wouldn't be recognized by vampires.

Jiang Ji made his way to the house of the vampire, it was risky but if he doesn't take it then he won't be able to see the woman he likes.

He hid in a place near the house and then watched the maids in the mansion cleaning and fixing but he didn't see the woman.

'She's not here! Where is she?' he thought

Jiang Ji then went to the place where he saw her in the lake but she was also not there, and lastly, he went to the outermost place she was not there.

He suddenly panicked and went back to the house, seeing that the maids had all left. He bravely sneaked inside and then looked around he also heightened his hearing around the place.

After searching for a long time he didn't see anyone, it seems they went somewhere.

**Thud**

Suddenly he felt someone punch his back, he almost lost his balance but he steadied his footing then angrily looked back.

Two vampire women stared at him in hatred.

"How dare a stinky werewolf come to the princess mansion," one of them said disgustedly

Jiang Ji widened his eyes, and the effect wore off. He transformed into a werewolf and then rushed toward them before they would call for others.

The woman blocked his claws then the roundhouse Jikicked him, which he dodged. The other woman appeared above him ready to stab his head.

Jiang Ji jumped back and then saw 3 more vampires appear, it seems that they smell his scent. He turned around and then started to run.

5 vampires chased him and attacked him.

Jiang Ji got new wounds again, a vampire suddenly appeared on his side with a dagger he dodged to the other side but was also attacked on the side. Warning him of a wound, he gushed his teeth trying to bite the vampire's head off but the vampire disappeared before he could.

He ran to the border then suddenly changed direction and ran the hide, he took out the bottle in a hurry. Poured some of his paws then rubbed in his body hurriedly.

"Where is he?" a vampire said looking around

"His scent disappeared," a vampire said confused

"Look for him he won't go far," a vampire man said coldly

"But how could a werewolf enter the border?"

"I don't know but I need to report this back to the queen and princess"

"Go and order some more vampire soldiers to protect the princess and her fiance also make sure no werewolf ever stepped inside this place ever again"

"Yes general"

Jiang Ji listened to their conversation and gritted his teeth, his wounds hurt so bad and blood oozed out the wound.

"General, we can't find him"

"Search around the place and make sure no stones are left unturned"

"Yes sir"

Jiang Ji was hiding under a large boulder, hearing the vampires looking at the stones he clenched his teeth until they hurt then moved slowly to a puddle of water with mud.

He hurriedly covered his fur with mud and then acted like a stone in the further corner of the place his hiding.

A vampire came to his hiding place looking around and sniffing the place.

"Sir, I found some blood here," a vampire said loudly

"Looks like he runs in another direction, go and catch him alive"

"Yes sir"

Jiang Ji saw the vampires left and let out a breath in relief, he stood up weakly and then walked out the border. Where he almost fainted he walked back to his home slowly blood left a trace as he walked.

Arriving home, a butler hurriedly came to his side and then supported him. Jiang Ji couldn't take it and fainted he lost a lot of blood and was even covered in mud.

"Hurry call the doctor" the butter shooter

Then he helped his master to his room, bathed him then changed his clothes. A doctor immediately came and treated his wounds.

"Doctor, is my master alright," the butler asked

"The prince is fine but I suggest that he needs to rest for a few days he had been wounded by vampires," the doctor said seriously

"Vampires! How can a vampire hurt him when he stayed----" the butter stopped mid-sentence

"Please tell the prince that he shouldn't go to the vampire territory again or else the future will be unthinkable," the doctor said then left

The butler nodded and escorted him out. He returned to the prince's room starting at the prince who he raised and shook his head.

"Prince, this will be the last time I'll cover if you go to the vampire border again please forgive this old man," the butler said quietly then left the room

He had helped the prince to hide what he had been doing since he came to this place. But the Queen and king are now getting suspicious about what is happening.

They always heard that the doctor is called and even if he came home wounded it became worse than the last one. The Queen even visited last time but the prince found a reason and she didn't continue to come.

The butler can't lie anymore and it would be their head that will fly if one day they ever knew what he had been doing.

The King was very strict about never provoking the vampires he didn't want an unnecessary war between them. They were finally at peace after so many years of wars where people lost their loved ones. He too lost his brother in war so he didn't want the war to happen again.

Everyone in the mansion knew that the prince would often go to the border and sneaked inside but was always wounded when he returned. He had been warned many times but he is very stubborn.

Bai Linlin knew about this too and had talked with his mother but he kept doing it. There are times she went to visit but he was always not in the house she was disappointed after everything.

He never listened to anyone and would get angry with anyone who opposes his decisions.

Then one day, she felt tired and talked with her parents about the engagement. She had been chasing him for years but he never even glanced at her. She thought she wouldn't feel tired but she was emotionally tired by the continuous disappointment.
