Ch.60: Aborted Plan.

"Hmm, I see. Go on then!" The receptionist yelled in anger as he finished reading the scroll that stated that Kazemi was allowed to read any book of any rank for exactly one hour. The 3rd thought of it as a final test on whether or not he's really changed or if he was acting.

"Okay then.." Kazemi didn't show the mischievous look on his face as he began walking towards a certain shelf. 'Fuinjutsu. Allows a person to seal things or unseal things. The whole category is blocked off for anyone who's not a ninja and is a child.

But now, I can read it without problem. Or I think atleast..' He went to the shelf on Fuinjutsu and picked out a basic book on the subject. 'Oh yeah, while I could have copied the jutsu's within here with my power, it'll be suspicious for it to suddenly disappear from the shelves. With the power to seal and unseal things though, I can unseal the seals they place on books and just read them.

Or I could just copy the power, learn it, then put it back. Yeah, I'm dumb. But hey, I won't blow my cover by doing this. This way, I can say I learned Fuinjutsu, and used this power to unlock the seals, meaning I could learn even more jutsu and stuff. It'll be the 3rd's fault for allowing me such a privilege if anyone goes against this..'

In the end, he shrugged it off and began to read the book. It didn't take long for him to understand it as it took the full hour. That was something that not even the 4th could do. 'My time is up, but I can still stay to learn more..'

"You are not allowed to look at any ranked books anymore. Please put that back." He did what he was told and put the book back. "But if I'm able to unseal them, I'll be able to read them, right?"

The receptionist stared at him for a moment, then said, "Well, yes, but you'll have to show me the book. Some aren't safe for children to read and or practice.."

Kazemi nodded while thinking about the screen that appeared. [Fuinjutsu: 1/5. You are now able to view D-Ranked Fuinjutsu and learned them instantly.] 'Nah, imma go with my other plan. Take the power, learn the power, then put them back into the book. This too much..'

He sighed as he had everything together but thought the process would be too long. 'I know I used to use this power a lot back in the other worlds, but why not here? Its odd..' He put the thought to the back of his head and went up to bookshelves that were for d ranks and above.

The receptionist scoffed as he knew that Kazemi studied Fuinjutsu and thought that he seemed confident. 'Good luck..' Kazemi touched the books but he couldn't take them off the shelf. 'Devour..' Was all he though which caused the seal to break and for him to gain the knowledge within the book.

'Devour..' He went around, touching all the books as his greed for the power on the shelves became more. 'Devour!' He wasn't even in the library now, but in the forest, devouring plants and animals alike, gaining their strength and power.

'DEVOUR!'

He was back in that black space now. Kazemi looked at the beast behind the gate which was now a giant fox. "Kazemi. A being not of this world." He told it just like that to which the beast became kind of surprised.

<[▪︎I see. So that's why I felt a switch in souls a few days ago. And that explains this 'System' that allowed me to take over..▪︎]>

The beast went up in smoke and turned into the mature woman once again. Kazemi walked up to the cage and held the bars while the woman did the same and held the bars next to his.

"You take and give powers, huh? Their strength, wisdom, speed, all of it. That's truly scary.." She spoke normal and without condensation. "Why are you here? What do you want with this world?"

"What I want with this world? Well, what does everyone want? Power, of course. I want enough power to do whatever I want, whenever I want..." He then tried reaching for her, only for a thick barrier to block him.

"And you're trying to absorb my power as well? How foolish.." She scoffed while shaking her head in disappointment.

"I can easily take this barrier down, but i know now that this is to keep you in here and not out there where you can reek havoc. And besides, I just wanted to feel your hair..."

She stared down at him, showing no emotion whatsoever. "You're very different from the previous soul. You actually think and I like that about you. Now, you can't touch my hair but I'll atleast put you in favor.."

She winked, turning into dark-orange dust in the process. 'Favor? Yeah, okay..' He appeared back in the forest and noticed a random shack. 'Power... That's a lot of power..' He walked into the unattended shack and found that it was empty.

The only thing in the small room was a large scroll that was covered in dust. Kazemi went up to the scroll, looked around once more and opened it up. What he saw next were instructions on learning an advanced version of a jutsu he already has.

'Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu..' He read in his head while examining the scroll, noting that there was a seal in the scroll.

'With the chakra of 4 people in one, I'll be able to create thousands of clones with little effort..'
