CHAPTER 3: TREASURE HUNTING

But no sword is strong enough to handle the sword technique. So instead, he carry a lot of the same sword in his inventory. A sword breaks after a couple of techniques, so he switch out to a new one and the broken one gets recycled in his pocket dimension. He learned blacksmithing to save cost. He also learned how to throw kunias, ninja stars, senbons and steel needles.

He tried to comprehend the martial arts of one piece, the roukishi but it was still a working progress. The martial arts is too unreal to comprehend. The flash step or soru is a little doable, but the risk on the ankles is too much if you use it too long. It was more demanding that the speed of hiten-mitsurugi style foot style. Since it's continual power burst of the lower body. Until he get into a higher body cultivation, he cannot properly use it. Haki is substituted to area sense, steel body enhancement technique and for conquerer Haki is just strengthening you soul force to pin down the target.

He also has a cheat if you must say, he knows every location on ruins around glory city and beyond. So his map is updated to his knowledge. His dimension can exit anywhere in his map to where his knowledge is. So it acts as an instant teleporter. His plans where to go to the Ancient holy Orchid city ruins to search for the treasure and his first demon beast spirit he plans to integrate, which was the void shadow devil hidden in the lamp in the treasure place. Next he will check each ruins to find the nightmare demon pot before it gets discovered in 6 months. Still plenty of time.

Zhenlong: "Can't believe how stubborn he is. Aaahh, just my luck he had to inherent my stubbornness and pride.... Hey Yue'r, don't be like brother okay... (sigh) well at least he's not as scary as your mother."

Chen Yue: "Whatever you say father."

Zhenlong: "Okay, I will be gone for a couple of days to take my stress from work and your brother. I would take you with me, but I know that I will just bore you with complaints the whole time. I left a million demon coins in your spacial ring for emergency or if you wanna shop around and have fun, but make sure you go out with out guard Feng. He is a trustworthy bodyguard that your grandfather raised and also my childhood friend. He knows your secret cultivation rank, so you don't have to be surprised."

Chen Yue: "Don't worry dad, I got this in the bag. Go and relieve your stress. If you want to, go the whole houses and relieve them for all I care. Just make sure you wear protection and hide your identity."

Zhenlong: "I actually, I have a personal maid/ servant for that. She gets paid a high amount of demon coins a month. She's fixed, so no heir can be made. I got her since your mom died... Guy gotta have a release once in awhile you know. Well enough of that. See you in a couple of days son. Let your brother know too if he comes back unexpectedly."

When Zhenlong left, Chen Yue ate lunch then went to his room. He told the servants that he will cultivate and not to disturb him until tomorrow. If he's hungry, he have some food in his storage ring.

He entered his dimension and opened his map. He place the exit on the old Holy Orchid ruin.

Chen Yue: "(sigh) I wish Nie Li's knowledge shows where to actually dig in the ruins. At least I know where the general area with the highest possibilities. But it is full of gorillas. (sigh) well beggars can't be choosers."

He armed himself with his sword and stormed through right away thru the demon beast gorillas around. He released his cultivation of gold rank which made some gorillas run and hide to safeguard their kids. The stupid ones stayed.

Chen Yue: "Hiten-mitsurugi style... Soryuusen!"

(BOOOOOOOOM!)

It was an attack where the sword strikes the hard ground and pick up sharp stones that was carved during the sword strike targeting multiple targets with sharp piercing rocks as fast as bullets. It was like having a gun with big Rock bullets. The technique was multiple swings of the sword at slow speed but at normal sight. You will only see him do a slow motion strike to the ground. Which is actual mirror images like a helicopter rotating it's rotors.

The rocks shredded all the gorillas that stayed behind. The alpha seeing these ordered the rest to stay away from him. The alpha was a 5 star silver rank, so he had made a decision to retreat to save his herd.

The strength of the technique broke the sword into pieces, so he put it back into his inventory and grabbed a shovel. With the gorillas leaving him alone, he digs around for the entrances.

(After 5 hours)

Chen Yue: "What the hell?! Where is that Damn f*ckin entrance. It's almost sunset. I don't want to come back tomorrow...."

He laminated for awhile and decided to use the hiten-mitsurugi style meteor strike. Where he jumps high and strikes the ground multiple times in a single strike. Kinda like Toriko 9 kugi nail punch.

(BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!.....)

The constant explosion scared the demon beast gorillas, saying the humans are a crazy race. Chen Yue on the other hand keeps repeating the technique with a new sword each time. His arms was burning in pain due to the techniques, but he wants to get this done today.

The whole compound was littered with holes from the technique. The booming stops when he finally saw a basement. He immediately went in and luck was in his side, he was directly on top of the treasure room. He quickly stored only 1/4 of the gold and left the jewelry and other gems behind for his brother and his crew. He also took all the scrolls and some ancient storage bags and storage rings. When he saw the spirit lamp, he immediately released the void shadow devil and captured it. He integrated it within minutes. Afterwards he returned the spirit lamp with some inscription to keep it active, to prank Nie Li.

He uses the 3 skills that always comes when integrating with a demon beast. What he got is void form. Partial and full forms, which turns the individual invisible to the senses. Even smells are gone to hide from any form of detection... in short perfect stealth. The 2nd skill is called shadow arm sickle. The shadow creates a sharp blade on each arm using void shadow. It can extend in length and six depending on what the user wants. The downside is, that the blades cannot penetrate gold rank armor currently. He has to upgrade both his spirit beast and cultivation to get stronger. And the last skill is shadow step.It let's you transport quickly within 5 meter area to avoid or attack targets. It will get stronger and wider in range as he grow stronger.

Chen Yue: "Yup, this shadow devil is really build up for assasination... Oh sh*t... I just levelled up 2 levels. I'm now a 4 star gold rank. (whistles) Phew, now my cultivation is quicker, I might be legend rank before Nie Li goes to the genius class."

After he got out the treasure room, he saw the grounds was full of holes. So he then did the hiten-mitsurugi style Soryuusen to cover the holes with rocks and soil. the problem is, that it is noticeable. He only wishes that it will rain soon and new grass grows to cover what he has done. He went back into his dimension and exited back into his home. It was already midnight, so he just went to take a shower and go to bed.

The next morning, he had breakfast and did the same thing, that to not bother him the whole day. He went out and visited other ruins, to find the nightmare demon pot. He thoroughly checked about 5 ruins with no luck but had gained some extra gold. He already understands, that it will take a little while. Once his dad comes back, most he could be gone for is 4 hours.

(Later that week on the weekend)

Ye Zong with Ziyun came over the weekend. Ziyun is like a purple blurr and attached herself to Chen Yue.

Chen Yue: "Hmmmph! hmmmmmmph, hmmph!"

Chen Yue was being suffocated by the twin mountains known as Ziyun's breast. He was swinging around and trying to push her out. For being a 2 star silver rank, Ziyun's love grip seems full of boundless strength.

Ye Zong: "Ah.. Ziyun, your cousin is turning blue dear... You might accidentally kill him."

Ye Ziyun saw him loosing breath let go of him.

Ye Ziyun: "Oh,... ooops."

Chen Yue: "Phwah! (inhales deeply) I think I just saw mom trying to pick me up... You almost killed me with your fat air bags you big gorilla!"

(POW!) Chen Yue was hit on top of his head by Ziyun's fist of love.

Ziyun: "Don't say that to your beautiful elder sister. You know your lucky to even to have these. All the boys ogle on them."

Chen Yue: "Ah, elder sister Ziyun. In case you forgot, I'm 7. I am nowhere near puberty and by the way, you look like me and seeing you is like seeing myself in drag. So no, not gonna happen."

Zhenlong/ Ye Zong: "HaHaHa!..."

Ye Zong: "Oh man, I never get tired of their interaction. Like I said before Zhenlong, I can take Yue'r off your hands and adopt him. He's basically my son with Ziyun around. He's the only boy around that I feel safe to be around Ziyun. I can't stand those other boys ogling after her."

Zhenlong: "This again brother Zong.. Like every answer. The answer is no. He's the only son I got around while the other one is in his rebellious phase."

Ye Zong: "Han'er never went into that phase. he is very kind and faithfull."

Zhenlong: "Well he got it from me. Now I know what my parents went through."

Ziyun and Yue went into the garden to hang out, while the 2 father's talk business and also some patriarch duties.

Chen Yue: "So how's school life elder sister?"

He used to call her big gorilla since she has the strength of the gorilla, but stop calling her that after being hit on head countless times. And each time getting stronger. At least he knows she's cultivating hard.

Ziyun: "Pretty depressing. I'm classmates with Ning'er but she wouldn't talk to me. And Shen Yue from the sacred family keeps on pestering me that he is my fiance. I told him we haven't agreed to that. But I keep him around to keep other boys from asking me out. He is like my farther spray to keep other boys away. Then there is this new boy named Nie Li, I think. Well he keeps on winking on me that passed me off, so I acted like a shy girl that makes Shen Yue jealous to teach him a lesson. He is a definition of a player dad warned be about. I should stay away from.... And you know what, he challenges our teacher Shen Xui or Shen Yue's aunt into a bet to be bronze rank by the time of the assessment. He also rallied other commoners by his side. He was punished to stand by the wall behind the class, then his friends joined him. Also later on, I found out he was a genius inscription Inscriptionist. He acted like he's not interested in me, but I know his game. He helps way too much without me asking. Aunt Xue taught me the signs of a pursuer. (sigh)"

Chen Yue: "Why are you so down?"

Ziyun: "Well, I have no other girls to talk to which I can relate, except for you somehow. But I won't talk to you of periods and all. I have aunt Xue because she is family on my mother's side of the family but not in our generation. So it's hard to relate. And yesterday, Ning'er gave Nie Li a lunchbox meal she made. I was wondering, why not me."

Chen Yue: "Why not act like yourself in front of her, like you used too"

Ziyun: " Ummm.... about that. Since I'm representing the Snow wind family ever since a young age, mom was around all the time. She gets mad if I wasn't a proper lady, since Ning'er is a child of the patriarch of the wing dragon family. I have to show the proper etiquette. So she only knows my other persona. Even dad and elder brother Han, my personality is half of each other. Only you and your mother, that I feel like being myself. boohoo...." she said while hugging Chen Yue on the side.

Chen Yue: "All I can say is, try being yourself more often. If you keep this other you out, you might developed a split personality, in which you will not know who you truly are one day."

Ziyun: "I'll see if I can change. Only time would tell.... Oh yeah, what's the deal with big brother LinJian? He invited me to go search for treasure in the ruins next month. He said to show his old man that he can be independent. Are they fighting?"

Chen Yue: "For now, he visits me sometimes but he walks off when dad is in the area. Both of them are stubborn. But if your going, cultivate as much as you can. I'm in the process of getting you demon beast spirit soon. Try to be a 4 star silver rank by that time. I can feel that your on threshold to breakthroughs 3 star silver rank. So when you integrate, the leftover soul power you have stored up can push you 2 ranks like I have. So you can breakthrough to 1 star gold rank."

They did more talking afterwards. They stayed overnight and Chen Yue became a body pillow for Ziyun. In the morning, Ziyun is feeling much better and stress free. He became the natural stress reliever every week, Ye Zong was thankful for that. He can see his daughter struggling to act properly for the family image that suffocates her. Only here can she be herself and free from her burdens every week.

Due to Chen Yue still existing, Ziyun didn't stay in her other persona. In the original story, she was so focus on her persona that she didn't notice the demon beast that killed her. So now her senses are heightened.

When they left. Chen you made himself a deadline of one month, to look for the nightmare demon pot. He can only search by night and by day, buying up ice type demon beast core for the both of them. He focus on buying bird type for her and dragon type for him. At night, he is a ruin Explorer. He also decided to cultivate for only a few hours in the morning for his soul force, since his body is only 3 star gold while his soul force is 4 star. So he have to focus on physical exercises and martial arts.

He is still small for a 7 year old, he's only a year older than Nie Yue. Nie Li's little cousin which was 6 years old. Maybe future love interest, I don't know. So, he has no choice but to drown himself with milk hoping to grow taller with muscles to look more manly.

You can see him sometimes walking in a handstand shouting "YOUTH!!!". A term that guy sense I shouts in order to pump him out. But he will not do spandex or getting a bowl cut with humongous eye brows.
