"Good! I'll see how long she can pretend that she lost her memory," said Jun

"Your highness is wise," said Eunuch Li

"I'll be eating dinner at her place tonight, send someone to inform her," said Jun

"Yes your highness," replied eunuch Li who went out of Jun's room instantly to deliver the message

At third prince consort chamber, Mei Zhen can be seen discussing with her handmaid xiu

"Hope everything is set," asked Mei Zhen with a serious expression

"Yes! the third lady won't be able to see the next day," replied Xiu

"Good! I can finally get rid of her," said Mei Zhen as she laughed hysterically

At Mei lein chamber, she is getting ready for bed but was soon distracted by a voice outside

"His highness is here," said one of the guards outside

"What! His highness? what is he doing here?" asked Mei lein staring at Jing as if waiting for her to say a word

"You have to reply the guard," said Jing

"Oh, yh let him in," said Mei Zhen stammering

"Didn't the servant inform you of my visit tonight," Jun asked arrogantly as he sat down on a chair

"They did, but I'm sure they deliver the message to the wrong door," Mei lien said

"Leave us," said Jun as he stood up

"Yes your highness," replied Jing before making an exit

"So you were saying," Jun asked getting closer to Mei lien

"I said the servant must have made a mistake by delivering that message to me," said Mei lien now trembling with fear

"Oh of course! I was actually going to concubine Fu chamber," replied Jun as he grabbed Mei lien by her waist

"Please you can take your leave now your highness as your favorite concubine is waiting for you," said Mei lein as she brushes Jun's hand off her waist

"But the more I think about it, I guess I would be spending the night here or aren't you scared of the rumors," said Jun now sitting down on the bed

"Rumors or not, I'm not interested your highness," replied Mei lien

"Serve me in bed tonight," said Jun

'I want to see how long you can pretend to have lost your memory, if you have, you'll refuse to serve me in bed tonight but if you have not, you'll gladly serve me in bed' Jun thought giving out a smile

"Your highness, concubine Fu is waiting for you, please don't keep her waiting," Mei lien said

"I'm giving you a chance to serve me in bed tonight so don't talk about another woman," Jun said as he grabbed her and pressed her on the bed

"Your highness! What do you think you are doing," Mei lien asked frightened

Just then, guards were busy fighting some assassin's which alerted Jun

"Assassin your highness," shouted one of the guards

"What?" Jun exclaimed as he got off Mei lien and pulled out his sword

"Don't come outside and find a place to hide," said Jun as he made his way out of the room to fight the assassins

After a long hour of fighting, some of the assassin's were killed while some escape in which Jun ordered the guards to chase after them

Jun decided to go inside and check on Mei lien before the guards get back

"It's okay now," Jun said as he stretched forward his hand to pull mei lien out of her hiding space

Luli and Jing rushed in worriedly after hearing about the assassin incident on getting to their lady's quarter

"My lady," Jing said tearfully as she hugged Mei lien

"I'm fine now," Mei lien said as tears rolled down her eyes

"It's okay, take good care of your lady," Jun said before making an exit

Jun is out, checking for some clues to find out where the assassin's came from, just then Gang and eunuch Li came to meet him

"Your highness! we lost them," said Gang dejectedly

"Arrrrrgh..," Jun yelled as he stormed out of Mei lien yard angrily with Gang and eunuch Li following him

The next day, Mei lien was still in deep thought as she couldn't figure out who she had offended and wanted to kill her

"My lady, the concubines are here," said one of the guards bringing Mei lien back to reality

"Why are they here again," Jing grumbled

"Invite them in," said Mei lein as she sat on her chair while the concubines came in and sat on the chairs provided for them by Jing

"I can't believe that there were assassin's in the palace," said concubine Fu

'Woah..no news get pass these gossipers' Jing thought

"I hope you're okay my lady," asked concubine Chun with a worried expression

"I'm good thank you," replied Mei lien smiling

"Stop the pretence," said concubine Wang angrily as she felt disgusted by concubine Chun act of caring

"Pretence?? What do you mean by that?" asked Mei lien confusedly

"But is it true his highness actually saved you?" asked concubine Wang with a scornful look

"Oh..he was in my chamber last night," replied Mei lien

"What! In your chamber," exclaimed concubine Wang

"I can see someone is already seeking for his highness favour," said concubine Fu

"What do you mean favours, my lady is beautiful unlike some people, so therefore it's only right for his highness to be in her chamber," said Jing

"Did that lowly maid just speak," asked concubine Wang angrily

"Were you not taught not to talk when your masters are talking," said concubine Fu as she stood up and slapped Jing

"My lady!" Jing called tearfully as she was waiting for Mei lien to avenge in which she did

"I know how to correct my maids if they did anything wrong, but how dare you," Mei lien said as she slapped concubine Fu while others exclaimed

"How could you slap her, she's his highness favourite you know," said concubine Wang but was soon slapped by Mei lien before she could finish her speech

"Who else wants to see my wrath," Mei lien asked as if being possessed by a spirit

"We're sorry my lady," said Concubine Chun

"Why would you beg her, you're just an hypocrite," said concubine Wang angrily

"You're going to regret this," said concubine Fu as she stormed out of Mei lien chamber with concubine Wang and Chun following her

"That was awesome, that's the young lady I know," said Jing happily as Mei lien smiled

Just then Luli was coming from the kitchen and met Mei lien and Jing discussing

"Luli! You wouldn't believe my lady, she had finally taught those rude brats a lesson," said Jing as she couldn't hold her laughter

"Ohh, I saw the concubines fuming with anger earlier, what did my lady do?" Luli asked curiously as she dropped the food on the table

"She slapped concubine Fu and Wang to avenge me," said Jing dancing happily

"Slapped them!!"asked Luli who was confused

"They slapped me first of course, and my lady avenge me," said Jing

"It's okay Jing, serve the food and let's eat, I'm starving," said Mei lien as her handmaids complied.
