Transmigrated Into Subnautica?

This is a Subnautica fanfic, I got this idea because of three reasons. Number 1; I have been wanting to create a fanfic for a while, number 2; I got the idea to make a video game fanfic because of the fanfic called ‘Dragonborn saga’, and number 3; Because I love Subnautica and I haven’t found a Subnautica fanfic. The MC will have some special powers that won’t be very strong at the beginning and he has to train very hard to make stronger. You will guess what the powers are in the first or second chapter. For the sake of the story, planet 4546B will be the same size as earth but have a slightly higher gravity, everything else will be the same... maybe

Chapter 4: Ozzy From The Cafeteria

The swim back to life-pod 5 was uneventful, there were no wild fauna attacks, no crashing waves that impeded the trio's journey, and no interruptions from anything.

There was only one thing that could be said to be a small event, which was when William almost swam underneath the water to get a closer look at a weird sea creature that made him have hallucinations.

Jake didn't let him be dragged down though, he slapped William across the face before he could start diving, and that woke him right up as he thanked Jake.

It only took 5 minutes to reach life-pod 5 from life-pod 3. The entire journey, back and forth to life-pod 5, only took a total of 14 minutes. Taking 8 minutes to get there, 1 minute to talk to the two survivors, and then 5 minutes to come back.

Opening up the bottom hatch of the life-pod and throwing the supplies inside, Jake helped the two survivors into the life-pod, and then climbed up the side of it to look down inside and check everything.

Inside the life-pod, the four survivors were hugging and giving congratulations on being alive, but since they somewhat knew each other it was less awkward than it probably would have been if they were complete strangers.

William was a mechanic/electrician while Mary was one of the few doctors/surgeons onboard the Aurora, but she had more than just theoretical knowledge.

Having operated on a few of the crew members that needed a person to operate on them and not a robot, she had more real experience than most surgeons nowadays.

Resting upon the top of the life-pod, Jake listened to the idle chatter of the four people in the life-pod, and then he almost fell asleep. Quickly sitting up and delivering a powerful slap to the side of his face, Jake started sweating.

Looking down into the life-pod at Mary, he opened his mouth to ask for help. "I think I might die due to blood loss if I don't receive treatment immediately. Please help me." Those words immediately silenced the four survivors as they had temporarily forgotten the existence of Jake.

Clapping his hands, Jake snapped the group out of their daze since his life was on the line and he looked to Mary, who was a doctor. "Is there anything you can do to help me with the lack of energy and the blood loss? There are still more people out there who need help."

Shrugging her shoulders, Mary didn't know if she was able to or not since she hadn't examined his wounds and didn't know the extent of damage or blood loss. "I will need you to come in here so I can examine your wounds if you want to know if I can help."

Mulling over her words, Jake looked around the interior of the life-pod and noticed that it would be too cramped if he went inside while all four were there. So he thought of a different way for her to examine him.

Reaching down into the life-pod, he grabbed the back of Mary's wetsuit-type clothing and pulled her through the top hatch of the life-pod with one arm. "It will be too cramped if I went inside the life-pod, so I brought you out."

Calmly explaining his reason for taking her out of the life-pod, Jake then moved his hands over his wounds to bring her attention back to why he needed her right now. Starting to get drowsy again, he slapped himself across the face so hard that it left a palm print, and that action caused Mary to be startled.

It was after she watched him slap himself that Mary finally started to examine his wounds and see what she could do to help him. That was when she realized just how many wounds he had and how bad they were.

There were sixteen 1-2" small lacerations all over his body, four 5-7" medium-sized lacerations on his arms and legs, and a single 10" long laceration down his back slightly to the left of his spine. A dozen bruises were also spread across his body.

Suffering from extreme blood loss and fatigue, he would probably die if he didn't receive treatment immediately, but there was nothing that Mary could do to treat him. "I hate to break it to you, but there is probably nothing that I can do to help you.

I don't have any kind of tools to sew the wounds shut, your fatigue is probably caused by the amount of swimming you've done, and the amount of blood in your body is too low. I now understand why you had slapped yourself."

Knowing that he wasn't in a good condition, Jake descended into the life-pod with bloody water still flowing down his body, and he started to look through all of the supplies that they had.

Starting with the medical supplies, he took out some small rolls of adhesive bandage-like things and applied them to the medium-sized wounds. No painkillers were present, even if they were he wouldn't take them since they would make him even more sleepy since he couldn't feel the pain.

The bandage-like things came from Life-pod 3, which also had another bottle of pills and a syringe like the medical supplies present in Life-pod 5, and also two other kinds of medical supplies.

Another small syringe that was yellow and white with no kinds of indications as to what it was and a large bottle of pills that would help make the body recover blood faster and cause wounds to scab over quicker.

Injecting himself with the syringe by sticking it in his leg, he then opened the bottle of pills and took three of them in one sitting. Pouring some of the water from in one of the water bottles into his mouth to help wash the pills down, Jake looked to the exposed wiring panel and thought of something.

"Hey William, would you be able to hook up the battery in the Seaglide to the wires that are exposed and make some kind of impromptu thing to cauterize my wounds? Or do we not have the required resources. If you can do that while I go and get some more people, then I will use it to cauterize the large wound in my back."

Hearing himself be called, William looked at the exposed wiring and then at the sea glide. Thinking about all the electrical and mechanical components that he has available, he could theoretically make a kind of low-power welder, but it would use all the charge from in the battery and most of the current power in the life-pod.

Nodding his head after thinking for a minute, William voiced his idea. "I could make a kind low-power welder, but it would use the rest of the charge in the battery and all of the power in the life-pod. It would also be absolute agony to endure it."

Seeing as how there was hope, Jake didn't care about the last part of the sentence since he had an immense pain tolerance due to his years of fighting. He had started fighting at the age of 10, without his parents' knowledge of course, he only told them he had started fighting when he was 15.

"How long would it take for you to make it? I still need to save however many people are still out there and I can't wait more than 3 minutes here." Scratching his head with a helpless expression, William looked back and forth a few times before he gave a conservative estimate.

"Probably around 10-20 minutes?" Giving a thumbs up, Jake didn't think that was a very long time to configure everything, so he just started to climb back out of the life-pod, but not before he grabbed the small sack that was used hold the medical supplies from Life-pod 3.

"I will go and help some other people, try and get it done as fast as you can. Its not only my life on the line after all. Also I will be using this to make some makeshift underwear." Waving the shack around, he climbed out of the life-pod and wrapped the sack around his waist like a loincloth.

Climbing down into the water instead of jumping, Jake swam as fast as he currently could in the direction of the next life-pod, which was number 17. He wanted to make it there before any kind of mishaps could occur, and he did.

Swimming from Life-pod 5 to Life-pod 17, which was in the Grassy Plateaus of Planet 4546B, it took a total of 5 minutes with his injuries to reach Life-pos 17. As he got closer, a distress signal could be heard being sent out. Climbing onto the side of the life-pod, Jake opened the hatch and looked inside.

Two people were located inside of the life-pod, a man and a woman. The man was blond and tall with brown eyes. Slightly on the chubbier side of the spectrum, he had the same kind of reaction as all of the other people who had seen Jake arrive at their life-pod, surprise and bewilderment.

The woman however, was currently in a state of shock as she was numbly sitting in her seat while the safety bar was still holding her in place. A vacant expression was seen in her dull blue eyes as she blankly stared at the wall of the life-pod.

She had dyed pine-green hair that reached her chest, a small button nose that had a ring in it, thin pink lips, and a pair of round black glasses. She was short, around 5'1, slightly skinny compared to the average woman from the 21st century.

"What's wrong with her?" Pointing to the numb woman, Jake raised his eyebrow as he wondered why the woman was so shocked. Looking at the woman, Ozzy scratched his head while wondering if he should tell the truth or a lie, but he decided to tell the truth since he couldn't think of a good lie.

"She witnessed her partner die and is in a state of shock due to all of the recents events. We will probably also be in a state of shock in a little while. Who are you by the way, I've never seen you on the ship before? I'm Ozzy."

"My name is Jake, just Jake. I don't have more time to explain since there are others that still need to be saved, so I will just bring you and her to Life-pod 5 and Ryley or Derek can explain our current circumstances. Let's go."

Climbing down into the life-pod, Jake took all of the medical supplies and put them in a makeshift sack made out of the flexible seat lining. Tying it together with another strip of lining, he then released the safety bar from the around the woman.

"Climb out and then help me bring her up. I will have to bring her back to the life-pod myself since she is in no condition to be swimming right now." Asking for help from Ozzy, Jake had him help her out of the top hatch of the life-pod.

Exiting the life-pod himself, he climbed down the side and had Ozzy lower the woman down slowly so he cradle her and not agitate his wounds. Once all three of them were down in the water, he took one arm of the woman's over his shoulder while Ozzy took the other, and then they headed to Life-pod 5.

It took a whole 15 minutes to reach Life-pod 5 from Life-pod 17, three times longer then it took for Jake to swim there, and they were greeted hastily by the four people in Life-pod 5. Gently lowering the woman who was still in a state of shock to Derek and Mary, Jake helped Ozzy down and then lowered the salvaged supplies.

Checking on the progress of the thing William was working on, Jake saw that it was finished and he was patiently waiting for him to return. Seeing that, Jake knew that he would be able to potentially save everyone since he would be able to not worry about bleeding to death.

The tool that William created would be able to cauterize Jake's wounds and close it to stop the bleeding, but it would be extremely painful and also need the help of Mary. Because it was now too full for him to even enter the life-pod, Jake had Derek, Ryley, William, and Ozzy exit the life-pod.

Lowering himself inside, Jake sat on the floor of the life-pod and looked at Mary, who was going to be using the tool to cauterize and close the large wound on his back as well as any other wounds she can before there is no more power.

William was looking into the life-pod and guiding Mary on how to use the makeshift tool properly. Once she knew how to, Mary gave a helpless look to Jake before she started to operate on him, and then groaning could be heard as Jake had to hold himself back from howling in pain.

He was kneeling face down on the floor so Mary could operate easier, but that didn't mean that it was easy since she had to basically hold the tool to his skin to close the wound. Smacking the floor of the life-pod, the sheer force of his blows created dents.

Sweating due to nervousness, Mary was afraid of what would happen if Jake couldn't handle it anymore and decided to hit her, and she sweated even more. After 3 minutes the wound on his back was fully closed and Jake was able to stop denting the floor.

Kneeling on the ground while breathing heavily, Jake calmed himself down before he tentatively reached a hand towards the closed wound on his back, and then he drew in a sharp breath of cold air when he touched it.

It was still extremely painful and would probably be for days to come, but Jake could care less about that since he had work to do right now. Adding up the amount of since landing on planet 4546B, Jake realized that he only had an hour and fifty-two minutes to save people from 6 more life-pods.

Sighing, Jake got up and decided to abandon all distractions as he needed to hurry or people would die, and he couldn't possibly allow that. Entering a speedruner's state of mind, he blocked out all emotions and feelings from his body, and then he exited the life-pod.

(Leave a comment if you see mistakes or grammatical errors. Also leave a comment if you think that he will be able to save everyone or not. I have to add quite a few OCs and their physical descriptions since I don't think they gave physical descriptions of the other people in Subnautica. Also there was a second person with Ozzy in life-pod 17 since in his distress call he says that the sea moth bay almost crushed "us". I am just making up their appearance and the names of the people who were not named. I will be keeping every named character in, but I will just be making up their appearances. Peace out.)
