IM DEAD?!

While Jay was spacing out, he felt a tap on his shoulder just before he could cross the street as jay peered back to look, he saw a kid

"Hi mister" The kid said with a toothy smile

"Hi" jay said with a warm smile trying to make sure the kid didn't feel uncomfortable

"What are you doing by yourself?" Jay asked the little girl as she looked at him

"I'm lost can you please help me" the girl said as she put on some puppy eyes

"Sure, would you like a piggyback ride?" "No thank you, but if you could can, we go to the store?" Jay looked at her and he wasn't really sure on how to handle this usually he was good with kids, but he was off putting for some reason he loved to babysit so he wasn't sure why he felt this way while talking to her "sure by the way what's your name?" Jay asked he didn't want to feel uncomfortable with her he thought the reason he felt this way was because of this morning but he couldn't shake the feeling, so he tried to push it to the back of his mind

"Suki mister, what about you I don't want to just call you mister?" She looked curious so Jay couldn't just ignore her "jay but some people call me soso" jay said with a smile "why do they call you soso?" Suki asked "my mom said I got that nickname because when I was younger, I was very sick but my soul sticked with me, so they used soul and turned it into soso and plus she thought it was cute and it just stuck" jay said to Suki. Suki could tell that soso was a treasured name to jay so she made a decision on what she would do " okay soso do you like fantasy/horror books" Suki asked with a somewhat creepy smile for a kid Jay was kind of shocked from her random question but he didn't mind this is what most kids are like and he enjoyed the randomness once in a while "I like them especially when they add comedy in the or romance or both it balances it out" even though Jay wasn't good with the dark he loved to read it didn't matter the genres he would enjoy it either way that's what he would find himself doing over the weekend or after school. after he said that he looked at Suki to see what she would say next " that's good" Suki looked somewhat happier than before Jay didn't know what she meant by that's good but be didn't want to over think it " so what do you want from the store? it was a somewhat long walk for a kid" jay said as he looked back at her " ice cream soso" "okay" jay just replied with one word and a smile as they were getting Suki her ice cream Suki looked at Jay with a straight face not that jay noticed but Suki decided that it was the right time to ask

"What do you think about reincarnation?" Suki looked at Jay so intensely you would think she was interrogation him.

Jay stopped at that and thought for a second "I think it's real if I were to be honest, I mean where else would our souls go" jay said with a slight smile on his face " that's great" Suki said practically beaming with excitement. Jay didn't know what she was happy about, but little did he know he would figure it out soon.

After they left the store they had on more stop then Jay could go to school, now they were on their way to the police station to 'find' suki's 'parents' just as they were two blocks from there they stopped so the cars could pass but just as jay was about to turn around to Suki, he felt a push and he tripped and stumbled and just like that BAM he ended up getting hit.

jay wasn't sure what was going on at first but he was confused, he wasn't hurting he felt calm but just as he was about to open his eyes he felt a warm liquid he went to touch it he tried to open his eyes he couldn't, he tried to move he couldn't, the warm liquid disappear as if it was absorbed by the ground not feeling it around him he tried again to open his eyes this time he was successful, then he tried to get up the most he could do was get on his knees his body ached like a never ending pain shooting through his body one after another not being able to move he sat there helplessly laying there.

after sitting there for a while and multiple failed attempts to get up. Jay tried to call out to someone, anyone, "help" Jay muttered he seemed to have lost his voice "help" jays voice got louder but not loud enough for someone to hear "help" jays voice was more of a talking voice now, finally after his throat felt better he yelled "HELP" jay finally screamed he wasn't feeling well he wanted to go home he wanted to see his mom again he wanted, help.

Jays vision felt blurry he felt uncomfortable he felt hot he never liked to be alone he wanted comfort. he wanted to be buried in a hug, he wanted to know he wasn't alone he needed someone by his side.

Jay closed his eyes he didn't want to open his eyes he wanted everything to go back to normal.

"Hello Jay" Jay Heard someone he opened his eyes it was a soft voice he didn't see anyone he looked behind himself he spotted a small figure "hello??" Jay said caution of who it might be "sorry you had to die I tried to make it as painless as I can of course I had to pull a couple of strings but it's whatever, but your death really was for the best you didn't fit into the game and I need to reassign you to another life but since you do have a kind soul I will let you keep your memories and I will even let you keep your name and nickname and what not I will even start you from the very beginning so you are not confused of your new life of course" the figure said with a smile, I think "who are you??" Jay asked he was confused he didn't know what to do he was lost confused and scared "it's me Suki, oh also I'm a god the reincarnation god to be exact" suki said kind of gloating about the fact she controlled how your next life will be.

"WHAT?!?" jay screamed he didn't know what else to do "yeah so you will have a new life and you will practically be the same, also you will be able to look the same have the same name and all the other stuff I said anyways I hope you won't hate me but it's for the best and plus now you can start over" Suki said with a smile.

"But-" Jay was about to protest but Suki beat him and said, "I know, I know you don't want to, but you have too you have no choice" "why do they always try and protest it's not going to change my mind" Suki muttered under her breath, but put on an eerie

Smile painting ear to ear "bye bye" suki's last word to jay as jay fell into a pit that felt never ending.
