Was Luna originally supposed to be there and witness his death? Ronald thought that he was supposed to have a gruesome death alone, but that didn't really matter now since...

"Holy cow that was cringe, but YES! I'm finally back on earth!" Ronald jumped right off his bed and shouted like a maniac.

If someone had walked into his room and witnessed this scene just now, they would've assumed he was mentally ill.

Ronald was just that excited to come back to earth after all!

Without thinking about anything else, Ronald excitedly ran across his room before suddenly tripping on a stack of cash casually lying on the floor.

Thud!

"Ouch... why was that there?" Ronald rubbed his knee as he slowly scanned his surroundings and noticed the draped curtains, the minimalist black wall panels with golden outlines, and a dark wood table cluttered with stacks of bills in his room.

"Wait a second... It's been so long since I've been back on earth, but I don't recall being this rich ever..."

Ronald Kuangge was someone who was originally from earth. He had been reading a novel called "The Dragon King in The World" late one night and felt drowsy halfway through the novel and fell asleep.

The Dragon King in The World was your typical Chinese face slapping novel. The story was about the protagonist Ye Fan who was born into a rich family that ended up getting targeted and destroyed overnight.

The protagonist, with his plot armor, miraculously escapes in the midst of chaos and flees overseas, determined to seek revenge for his family.

A few years later, Ye Fan ends up coming back to China much more powerful than ever and while trying to find out about the cause of his family's downfall, he ends up meeting all kinds of heroines like school flowers, cold female presidents, princesses, queens, etc and builds a harem with them during the process and bla bla bla you already know what happens next.

Of course, this has nothing to do with Ronald though, who was considered a villain in the story.

That's right, after Ronald had woken up from falling asleep while reading the novel back on Earth, he realized that he ended up transmigrating into a different body, and that body was from none other than the villain who shared his first and last name.

And like every other reincarnator and transmigrator out there, he too was given a system that informed him that he needed to play the role of the arrogant villain, Ronald, in the novel if he wanted to get back to earth.

Now back then, Ronald had obviously been hesitant to do this as he knew how the villain Ronald acted in the novel and the miserable fate that awaited him. However, when the system promised him wealth and power that could be brought back to Earth if he finished his role properly, his attitude did a complete 180, and he quickly embraced his villainous role.

"Oi system!"

[Yes, host? How may I be of assistance?]

"Oh don't you give me that 'how may I be of assistance' crap! Tell me why the hell am I back here again?!"

[I'm sorry host, but the system has concluded that the novel's plots after your death have severely deviated from their original course. Therefore, it is required for the host to play the role as a brainless rich-second generation villain again.]

"Damn it system!" Ronald angrily slammed his hand on the table, "Before I had jumped off the cliff, you told me that I did everything perfectly, and my death should've been the last thing I needed to return back to earth. Are you screwing with me right now?"

[Host, please calm down.]

"No, I won't calm down! I've already spent 7 years in this novel getting constantly face slapped by the heroines and protagonist! I'm not a masochist that wants to get abused everywhere I go, send me back to earth right now!"

Ronald then waited a few minutes for the system's response, but the system didn't respond back.

So after a while, he just decided he had to bite the bullet and do it all over again.

The system was the one that brought him to this novel world in the first place, so it's not like he can return to Earth unless he complies anyway.

"Fine, you win. I'll play my stupid role all over again. What chapter am I in now?"

After Ronald remarked, he looked at the suit he was supposed to wear for tonight and frowned.

Originally, the Kuangge family was hosting a banquet for Ronald's 20th birthday, but during the event, he saw his fiancée, whom the original Ronald had been simping for, stand next to the protagonist. This ended up enraging the original Ronald, which in turn also allowed the protagonist to step in and face slap him, therefore officially starting off his role as a villain.
