After seeing the heavy killing intent emerge out of Xie Roulin's body, Ronald realized how dire the current situation actually was and knew that he can't just rely on some stupid god to create some miracle and save Ye Fan, despite Ye Fan literally being the protagonist.

So Ronald knew that he had to do something, and fast, however he didn't know how he'd be able to manage to convince Xie Roulin to leave Ye Fan alone, at least not without revealing his strength in front of the entire public.

Even though Ronald knew that Xie Roulin actually loved him, he didn't know to what extent Xie Roulin actually loved him, since the Xie Roulin he knew before aboslutely hated him.

And Ronald knew that if Xie Roulin only slightly loved him, if he ends up pushing her boundaries, she'll just start blasting bullets at him, therefore revealing his strength infront of the entire public and completely ruining his original character and personality as a brainless rich second generation.

So after thinking about it for a bit longer, Ronald decided to try and talk Xie Roulin out of it.

Although Xie Roulin didn't know why Ronald was looking at her with a serious expression on his face, she knew that she had somehow touched Ronald's bottom line, and that's what made her afraid.

After all, this was probably the first time he has made an actual serious and stern look on his face.

Just thinking about the fact that Ronald might never even give her a chance to redeem her sins made Xie Roulin start to tear up.

"Drop the gun." Ronald saw the look on Xie Roulin's face and got confused.

Why the hell did Xie Roulin start tearing up all of a sudden?

All he did was call out her name and look at her!

Did she love him that much to the point where even him mentioning her name made her extremely happy to the point where she started tearing up?

Xie Roulin's sobs and repeated murmuring words was echoing throughout the entire bar, and everyone present at the bar besides Gu Changsheng and the other two rich second generation looked at Ronald with extreme disdain.

Even though they didn't know why that Xie Roulin decided to listen to some brainless idiot, they were all angry at the fact that Ronald decided to make their goddess sad.

But even though they were all extremely angry at him, nobody really dared to speak out anyways.
