I Only Love Luna

"I love you, Ronald." Xie Roulin stated in an unwavering tone.

After listening to Xie Roulin's confession, Ronald collected his thoughts for a moment before speaking out his next words.

"I only love Luna."

Although Ronald knew that Xie Roulin was interested in him, he didn't understand why she had confessed to him when she clearly knew that Ronald only 'loved' Luna.

Nevertheless, Ronald intended to reject Xie Roulin anyways.

"I know."

"..." After waiting for about two more seconds and seeing that Xie Roulin wasn't planning on saying anything else, Ronald started to open his car door.

Just as Ronald was about to lift up his feet and step inside of the car however...

"That's why I will continue to chase after your heart until I can get you to fall in love with me." Xie Roulin announced with absolute determination.

No matter what happens, even if she has to go through hell and high water multiple times, she won't stop until she manages to capture Ronald's heart.

Even though Xie Roulin truly loved Ronald and wanted to be with him for the rest of her life, there was also another important reason why she had decided to confess to Ronald instead of keeping silent about it.

And that other reason was because he loves Luna.

Of course, Xie Roulin wanted the best for Ronald, and since Luna loves him now in this life, everything should be fine now, right?

Wrong.

Even if Luna loved Ronald in this life now, she was still poisonous to him.

From the current looks of things, all of the events that had occured in the previous life will eventually occur again in this life.

This meant that if Ronald continued to love Luna, sooner or later, not only will the Kuangge family will eventually get destroyed again, but Ronald will also have a tragic death once again.

And Xie Roulin definitely wouldn't be able to stay sane if she has to witness Ronald's death once again.

So if she manages to get Ronald's mind off of Luna for once and make him start to focus more on her, then Ronald will stop trying to defend Luna, preventing a lot of the major events that'll eventually occur in the far future.

Of course, Xie Roulin had thought about killing Ye Fan in advanced, but she knows that doing so will just hasten Ronald's death.

With all of that in mind, Xie Roulin was determined to slowly make Ronald fall in love with her, not just only for her sake, but for his sake as well.

After hearing what Xie Roulin had said, Ronald slowly turned his head to the side and was completely stunned when he saw the determined look on her face.

Although Ronald didn't like her, he couldn't help but stare at the unwavering determination look Xie Roulin had on her face for a few more seconds before sighing in his heart.

"Whatever, suit yourself." After leaving those departing words for Xie Roulin, Ronald got into his car and drove past by Xie Roulin to go back to his house.

After arriving back at the Kuangge household undetected, Ronald headed straight to his bedroom and leaned on the balcony that was right outside of his bedroom windows and started to gaze at the starry night sky thinking about what Xie Roulin had just said about an hour ago.

Ronald just didn't understand it at all.

He didn't understand why Xie Roulin actually loved him and was so determined to try and make him also fall in love with her.

Unlike the other heroines who were just being weird and affectionate towards him, Ronald could tell that Xie Roulin really wanted him to fall in love with her.

That look of firm determination, resolute gaze, and aura of confidence that Xie Roulin had displayed when she announced that she will make him fall in love with her says it all.

And coupled with the fact that there was a full moon right behind her, it made Ronald's heart skip a beat when he took a good look at her.

But even though Ronald's heart skipped a beat when Xie Roulin looked like a goddess under the bright glowing full moon, his opinion about her still didn't change for the better.

After all, he still hadn't forgotten about everything Xie Roulin had done to him back in his previous life.

Maybe, just maybe if Xie Roulin had confessed to him exactly at this time back in his previous life, he might've been moved by it.

But the Ronald now definitely didn't have the same mentality as the Ronald about 7 years ago.

As mentioned before, the Ronald who had first transmigrated into this world about 7 years ago had the mentality of an excited, adventurous, and extremely enthusiastic person who wanted to explore everything that this world has got to offer.

Basically transmigrating into this world was technically like a blessing for the Ronald 7 years ago.

But oh well, just 7 more years to go and then he can finally be free from this curse.

Speaking about himself, what Ronald didn't actually understand was why the author of the novel 'The Dragon King in The World' decided to use the name 'Ronald Kuangge' as one of the character names.

Of course, having the same exact first and last name as a character in a novel wasn't out of the ordinary.

But the thing is that it should've been completely impossible for a character with both of Ronald's first and last names to appear in a Chinese novel.

After all, even though Kuangge was a Chinese name, Ronald was an English name.

And there would rarely be a Chinese novel that would give a character an English name and a Chinese surname.

So unless if the author somehow saw Ronald's name back over at earth and decided to put him in as one of the characters in his novel, it would be nearly impossible for his full name to actually appear in a novel somewhere.

Either that or it could just actually be a weird coincidence.

Even though there was a lot of things going on inside Ronald's mind right now, he decided to just forget about them for now.

After all, after he arrives at the capital city with Gu Changsheng tomorrow, he's going to have to deal with Gu Changsheng's stupid and sadistic sister after they meet, and Ronald didn't really want to suffer anymore than he should.

So after staring at the beautiful starry night sky for a few more minutes, Ronald headed straight to bed in order to prepare the next upcoming plot.

'Can't wait to go to the capital city and get tortured to death by Gu Changsheng's sister tomorrow…'

'I don't know how Gu Changsheng can even deal with his sister for more than a year.'
