Chapter 236 - 3rd Layer

Crowd flocked to the smell of the dishes being prepared by the shop. It had been a long time for them to smell the aroma of meat due to how difficult it is hunting demon beasts. Logically, it is best to breed livestock if they want sustainable food but considering they struggle to eat means it is near impossible to maintain livestock unless they have a larger plot of land and farm.

The Heavenly Fate Plateau are both lucky and unlucky from the situation they were in as though they lacked food and resources and did not face much problem dealing with Demon beast due to being secluded. 

Caelum would like to help them as they would become a fine addition to his army that can protect his family. He would gain their trust and loyalty by providing them resources in exchange for becoming his soldier.

Though a fool would leave them thinking they are already strong, Caelum had [Dao of Commander and Emperor] among his Lesser dao therefore knew the importance of people. Those who become strong enough would reach a point of self centered mindset leaving them into a foolish path.

Caelum did not reach this mindset as an Emperor and a leader that could provide them without a problem. Regardless, whether he helped them or not is up to him alone and no one else. 

"Here, I hope you like our porridge."

He came out of his thoughts seeing Yun Ling giving a bright smile while placing down a bowl of porridge with a few pieces of meat on it. This reminded him of the time when he was still in a desperate situation like any human.

The sentiment of his past always carried in his hand. Caelum did not forget the life he once had and did not take it for granted. He turned to Yun Ling and smiled back as a response before holding the bowl to take a sip. They didn't have any spoons, so they took it like a drinking bowl.

Yun Ling sat in front of him while curiously observing. She wondered how someone who appeared younger than her was able to defeat the demon beast in the blink of an eye from what the hunter told them. 

She heard stories about the dark age where powerful experts roamed the land before the calamity that befalls the Divine continent. They do not know anything beside oral stories of the past as they were lost in time.

The Dark Age era was the time in the Divine continent or Tiny world where Legend ranks roam the land and cultivation knowledge was at their peak but the calamity of demon beast came and changed everything.

"You came outside right? Can you tell me about the outside world?? Also how can you kill that demon beast…?"

"Despite being small?"

Yun Ling panicked, afraid that she might have offended him but only heard a light chuckle from Caelum, who found her curious like a child. 

"No need to be flustered, I am merely teasing you. As to how I kill it then believe or not my body had taken this form out of my free will."

Caelum had little problem having his physical soul exposed but it still gave bitter taste when recalling his physical body. He wanted to cultivate the Immortal physique yet without his body then it would be impossible.

Seeing his reaction, Yun ling thought it was a sensitive topic and misunderstood him, deciding to change the conversation.

"How about the outside world? Are there other humans beside us?"

"There are and many more. I won't tell you much unless you give me another bowl of porridge."

He handed the bowl to hastily filled yet another bowl of porridge letting them continue their conversation about the outside world while the people around them listened at the side afraid of offending him. 

Yun Ling was fascinated by each tale caelum foretold and some was so unbelievable that most of them dismissed it. Caelum wanted the opportunity to gain her affection by telling some stories from his Omniscient. 

He was able to know the past and different parallel worlds that have changed countless times. The Time stream of Tales of demons and gods had been changed numerous times that none was aware of it. The center of it was the Temporal Demon Spirit book. 

After a while, the crowd moved to the side where an old muscular man approached Caelum who only gave quick glances. He was looking at him with a mixture of awe and fear.

"Are you the one who saved our hunters?"

"The one and only."

"Then we would like to thank and invite a savior to my humble abode."

They wanted to take the opportunity to grab caelum and gain his favor not for selfish reasons rather if he was able to help them in their situation. The old muscular man knew that Caelum was not simple and hoped that he'd be able to reason with.

Caelum only shakes his surprise. The people were shocked seeing his response while taking a quick sip of his porridge. 

"I do appreciate the offer but I want to stay here and ask Miss Yun Ling if they have spare rooms?"

Yun Ling was taken aback by his words knowing even if they provide a shelter then it would be compared to the chief who was in front of him. She won't deny that something made her happy that he wishes to stay with her.

The old muscular man perplexed yet did not feel any anger knowing as long he'd stay in their Heavenly Fate Plateau is enough. 

"If that is what the savior wishes then I won't pursue and only hope you enjoy your stay in our Heavenly Fate Plateau."

He gave a sincere bow before leaving the scene. Caelum turned his attention back to Yun Ling who was called by her father showing apologetic gestures.

"No need, I won't be leaving and if I do then I'll return shortly. So we can still continue our conversation "

"Alright! I wanted to know more about the world!"

He chuckled at her demeanor then left to help her father as the latter calmly observed around the place. Caelum decided to take a quick stroll leaving the porridge shop then headed to an open area to cultivate.  

He's not in a rush in getting inside and reforming Yu Yan's body as he decided it was best to strengthen his Martial Intent. Caelum understood that Law connects to the soul or the root of soul therefore would produce Divine authority or domain if cultivated correctly. 

Heavenly Dao, Will and Law are the same yet different. By completing these three then his control over his inner world and himself would dramatically increase.  Caelum went into his Sea of Consciousness and began to cultivate his Soul.

Upon circulating the Soul force found something had changed at the arrangement of things. The Root of Genesis was nowhere to be found in his Soul realm and guesses had gone into his physical body along with the Sacred Blood.

It didn't render him at the slightest and continued to refine the Soul Force using th Soul Warming Lotus that grew brightly then directed some of his Soul force into the Temporal vine that transferred the energy into his Nascent Soul and Heavenly Beast. 

The Heavenly Beast are not a Demon Spirit rather a unique Soul form and attribute. Caelum planned to make Demon Spirit later to further increase his Soul prowess and reach Beyond Divinity.

The power of a Divinity is the three aspects of a martial artist, it is the body, soul and energy that once combined are able to use the power of divinity. This is the application in Martial world and wondered if he added Mind and Will into it.

The Soul Warming Lotus continued to nourish his soul until reaching a certain bottleneck and halted. After which change his training into his Martial Intent and Martial Force or Dao to further strengthen his techniques and ability.

If he ever lost his energy and power then the technique he had accumulated would act as an innate talent causing him to learn them rather easily. 

Caelum performed every intent he had done until reaching the 3rd layer of intent. It may be small yet the foundation cannot compare with the same layer. It is more appropriate to set it at 7th layer at how refined it is.
