Chapter 126 - Tis is but a scratch

After caelum arrived to where the vampire clan and immediately made his blood boil wanting to consume the very essence of the creature. By then he suddenly recalled the demon king inside his body when he devoured the corpse. He made mental note to refine it to further increased his bloodline.

He approached his daughter who noticed his arrival as they welcomed him. Caelum looked at the dimensional barrier that was blocking the path to anyone not strong enough. It was simple as he swings his hand easily breaking through the barrier as his group entered the place.

"Oh it seems that the sins had arrived early than expected. I need to find where the rest of the vampire are. Yuki and Yuna go to this place and try to capture the vampire while Erza and Hancock go to this place. As for me and Leila, we shall go and meet up with the so called vampire king."

They nodded as Caelum and Leila arrived to where Escanor was evading the vampire kings attack until he suddenly spoke in regal way. Caelum knew it was the sunshine which he can replicate with his Sun energy and star without the arrogance of course.

'If not wrong then the blessing is actually amplifying not only physical but his spirit as well resulting his arrogance.'

Caelum watch then interfere before Escanor kill him by appearing surprising the two while the vampire king felt fear in the present before him. The new arrival turn to looked at Escanor looking down on him.

"Who are you and dared interfere in my battle?"

Escanor was annoyed at the person in front of him despite sensing how power the person was. He doesn't care if their strong or not as his pride will remain unshaken. Caelum exchange looking down at Escanor with his wine red eyes glowed in the dark as He grinned revealing his vampire fawine-redour words are but an empty one, human. He returned his attention in the shaken vampire king who saw the shadow below him had countless eyes of a deep abyss. In each step he took a step back but couldn't even screamed or begged as Carlin arrive without difficulty.

"A lowly vampire call himself a vampire is beyond senile. Comparable to that demon king. You're nothing more than food for my own nourishment."

Caelum held out his hand then the Vampire king screamed in pained being consumed by the nirvana flames with his essence being refine. Few seconds later, a red orb was form then caelum reach out and consumed it by digging his fang. It was hen the newly refined blood of the vampire king cause his bloodline to reach higher heights

Caelum clothes slowly change enveloped by blood soaked mucus like substances flooding the area where Escanor who watch in slight shocked but didn't moved from his spot and used his aura to push by the blood.

Escanor saw a man dress in armor with long dark cape being dragged by the wind. Caelum had turn into Count Vlad Dracula Tepes with his wine red eyes gaze toward scan or who smirk.

"Hahaha it seem you are peculiar creature. I cannot let you go as it seem you a threat to the people."

"If that is the case then come try to kill me with your power and help me see how far my ascension had come."

Meanwhile, before their battle began, Yuna and Yuki arrived to see a man with his blood being drain by one of the vampire. The two interfere knocking the vampire instantly and letting the man fall into the ground with a bottle of beer to fall and shatter.

"Hey what's the big idea!?"

The man, Ban complained by ignored by the two woman as they place the vampire inside a storage. He was annoyed and tried to used snatch to see steal their power thinking there are an enemy but only found his body to implode.

"Did that guy just try to steal my power?"(Yuki)

"I believe so. Unfortunately for him our power is too much him to handle."(Yuna)

Gradually Ban regenerate gaining the two girls curiosity. It take long for him to regain back his body as he looked at the two woman. He stood up then brought out his sacred gear to fight the two.

"Damn that hurts a lot! Hey tell me who are you and what you're doing here?"

"Should we fight him, sister?"(Yuna)

"Rock, paper and scissor."(Yuki)

Ban sweat at how laid back the two is as Yuna won the game with Yuki sulking in the corner wanting to fight him. Yuna didn't take her weapon and only used her Tenseigan then instantly moving in immense speed jabbing her fist into Bans stomach that flung him into another building.

"*Whistle* Hahaha this is going to be fun. Why don't you reveal yourself."

Arriving from behind Yuki was someone that Caelum knew well. It was Merlin who had Phoenix perching on her shoulder. The bird was one of Caelum's avatar who saw Yuki telling her to be quiet while he gave permission for the two have spar.

"Your are stronger than the small fries her. Why don't we fight little mage?"

Yuki knew that her adult body was nothing more than spell that she place for her father. Merlin snap her fingers summoning a magical spell while her opponent grinned then enveloped herself in green chakra. She summoned a truth-seeking ball then began her battle with Merlin.

Far away from them were Hancock and Merlin meeting up with Diane and King. They had just finished capturing the vampire then left as fighting them would be fruitless.

Back to caelum, he brought out his Celestial blade limiting it's power then swiftly moved towards Escanor who swung his axes while having miniature sun to burn caelum flesh. It was excruciating sensation but helped in making his vampire blood line stronger than before. Their weapon parried each other with caelum shadow summoned image of wild dog biting into Escanor thick skin. It was draining of his blood but didn't even flinched by it proceeded to attack caelum

"This is over you're already wounded why persist?"

"Hmm tis is but scratch!"

He did a downward slashed of his axe managing to caught caelum off card but he distort his form into a shadow then did a horizontal slashed to decapitate Escanor head. However, he was able to evade then threw a straight jab toward Caelum who did the same punch him through the walls.

"Are you alright, Escanor!?"

Caelum turned to looked towards a blonde boy wearing thick armor checking out Escanor who was knock out. He turned towards Caelum who grinned but felt in rage in the part of his demon blood lien as Meliodas had grown weak.

'I really need to refine my demon bloodline soon. Thankfully I stored the demon king corpse.'

"You had grown weak, my friend."

"Who are you and what purposed you have to be here!? And do I know you?"

"In a way yes. I am not here to kill any of you sins as I cannot due this world law. However, I must inform you that your long lasting suffering shall be over soon once the time you all of being betrayed."

"What do you mean!?"

"Perhaps if you defeat Leila here I could tell you."

Leila who remain until now grinned excited to fight Meliodas since he had read the story about him. She brought out her weapon and used flash step to arrived in front of Meliodas who barely able to block her attack.

"That's disappointing! I thought son of a demon king could offer more!"

She exclaimed then instantly sense the raised of demonic power and saw Meliodas demon mark appearing. Leila grinned as both vanished from where they then appeared with the shockwave of their attack slice the whole castle. They fought for few minutes with meliodas being pushed back by Leila who only grinned.

"Enough Leila we should head back. Meliodas won't be able defeat you anyway."

"Oh you returned back to your usual self."

"Well I gain few essence therefore able to advance further. Let us go and farewell, Meliodas may we meet again."

Meliodas was far too drain as Caelum and his group disappeared with Merlin battle only happened in illusionary world. This the end of the vampire arc.
