KURRURURURURUUR

A very unpleasant voice came out of the creature's mouth. William was conflicted while looking at the creature.

It was the first time he had come across a creature that looked human but was not. An unsettling feeling.

'It's finally time huh…' William thought after a chilly sigh, he had thought about this before, many times.

Whenever he would fight someone stronger than him in the ring, he would think of one thing, how could he make the enemy collapse in just a few moves? When could he hit or what could he hit?

These thoughts at that time started the growth of that small bud that William called his ruthlessly fighting days.

He fought ethically in the start but when he found that winning normally was not an option and that the opponent was too strong, then only he would start using anything he could to win.

That led to the breaking of a lot of rules of the tournament, an upcoming rookie was canceled from everywhere just because winning these fights was more important for him rather than any rules, any prize, or fame.

One must understand that William only started fighting because he was dissatisfied with his life which he found too peaceful.

He didn't care about the fame or anything related to it. He just wanted to fight and win, no matter what.

And in those days, it had come up in his mind many times, that there were many methods to stop the fight completely and that too in an instant.

It also meant using the techniques he knew about that could kill a person instantly which would enable him to win without any struggle.

But even for him, killing was too much at that time.

But the tides had turned now, what William had thought one time was what he had to do now no matter what he had in mind.

He was automatically in the form already while the creature seemed to laugh with its very creepy and high-pitched voice.

William kept the book in his hand, he had realized something in his free time.

There were three options for him to choose from in the tomb, out of which, one needed time to boot up if activated.

The others were '+3 strength' and 'weak point finder' something. They felt to be able to get activated as soon as William wanted.

The creature was about 5 feet in height, its back was a little hunched from the shoulders but it still had long legs and arms. There seemed to be brown fur on it just like any bodily hair on a human.

The only difference was, that the hair all around its body was very long, and it was wearing a cloth at its nether region that seemed to not have been cleaned for years if not months.

The creature took a quick and small step forward, and William stayed where he was. The creature took another step, and William still stood where he was.

Their eyes were locked, William was looking for something. He observed the activity of the creature. How it moved its shoulders, how it moved its legs.

One thing was clear, the creature was experienced in fighting. William could tell by the way it was acting.

But all his high thinking about the creature went to downfall when it started sprinting head-on toward William.

William stayed where he was, testing the waters. The height difference was a lot and William felt like the creature's body was better than his.

Its agility and flexibility could be seen when it came so close to William and in due time, they were going to fight.

Yet the creature twisted its leg completely and changed the course of its sprint.

William was surprised and he took a step back wanting to know what the creature was doing. The creature had passed by him and was not stopping to attack him.

William understood its goal, the creature was going directly to the tower for a reason he knew clearly.

"Fuck you!" William shouted and threw the sacrificial tomb on the ground, his anger bubbled at the antics of the creature.

He had prepared himself for everything, to first fight and then when the time was right, even kill the creature yet it disgraceful just forfeited the match before it even started.

He also started sprinting and while the creature was fast, William was also not playing around.

He closed the gap in a short while but still found that the creature was desperately going for the tower.

William gritted his teeth and tried to grab the neck of the creature alas, it while sprinting jumped forward and entered the tower.

A shiver went down William's back, could the creature damage better while inside the tower??

William entered the tower right beside him and used the wall to forcefully propel himself further finally catching up to the creature.

He grabbed the creature by the neck with the left hand and used the elbow of the right to hit it on the head.

KHHAAHHH!!!

The creature had screeched right when William grabbed the neck but when it got hit at the back of the head so hard, it tried to break free by using his hand.

But by that point, William had removed his hand and punched the creature right at the sensitive part of the brain again.

There was no hesitation behind those attacks, he hadn't used such attacks before but had them in his arsenal for a long time.

It seemed the fantasy of getting stopped by some violent gang members and beating them to death had helped in this situation, his training was fruitful.

The creature covered the back of its head and desperately moved forward and hit the wall for support.

William knew it was painful but on top of that, he knew that this would make him buy time as it is not easy getting accustomed to the idea of getting hit on the head, and sometimes, even vertigo was possible.

At that moment, William finally stopped after looking at the eyes of the creature that had moved its face toward him.

The horror it was feeling.

The feeling of getting cornered.

The desperation to try to live had kicked in.

The cold feat it felt.

William could feel everything from it.

But he gritted his teeth in frustration, he wanted to stop fighting under the norm of Earth but winning was everything.

The main problem was… that winning in the tower game meant the death of the other…
