Having brought Wu Xin to the sect and introducing him to the Buddhist path, he was given the dharma name Xin of the Wu generation and from then on Wu Xin had become an initiate in the sect. Frankly speaking he didn't even remember his birthday and didn't care too much for it.

Was it coincidence that his dharma name in this life and his given name in his previous life were both Wu Xin?, he just attributed it to fate and accepted the name quite easily.

He grew up in the huayan sect and has been an initiate till when he reached twelve. The huayan sect was one of the many Buddhist monasteries in this world and they practiced the Mahayana Buddhism. Their teachings emphasizes compassion and pursuit of enlightenment not only for oneself but also for the benefit of all sentient beings.

Since young this was the doctrine that had been taught to Wu Xin and it was already engraved deep within his bones.

Like any other day he got up and went to his own region of the herb garden. This region was given to him when he turned 15, before that he had been learning the details from another senior.

On his way, he saw others like him who were also on their way to their own regions and soon they arrived at the entrance of the garden only to see three cultivators who had been sent to guard on behalf of supervisor Huo Yun who was on a journey from the sect.

Looking at them Wu Xin recognised one as he had taken the aptitude test alongside him. His name was Wu Nian and from the way he reacted it was clear that he also recognised Wu Xin, however he soon stopped paying attention to Wu Xin as he addressed the crowd.

" Amitabha, everyone I am Wu Nian and the fellow brothers with me have been sent here to guard on behalf of supervisor Huo Yun. So till he returns we will be in your care"

Everyone knew he was just being polite what would he need with mortals such as themselves.

Among the workers present only one of them was permitted not to work as supervisor Huo Yun selected him to teach him privately. He knew he would have to undergo a test upon the return of the supervisor and didn't have any time to waste.
