CHAPTER 6

"Leave my room immediately, I'm not kidding at all." Damian warned me from entering into his bed room but I stubbornly refused.

I barged into his room leaning against the wall. He approached me angrily trying to throw a punch at me but he hanged his hand on the air staring at my face. I pouted my lips out looking into those fiery eyes. I held onto my stance, trying not to shiver or get scared. My attitude got me shocked because I didn't know I would have so much courage to face Damian even at his angry stage.

"Your family knows the truth now and they would punish me severely for this. I'm sorry but this is the only place I can hide at the moment." I replied him while he shook his head at my foolishness.

"Nobody is laying their hands on you, there's nothing to feel scared for. Leave my room before the situation get heated up than it is now."He replied me while I refused to leave not feeling convinced.

Damian held my wrist tightly while I screamed aloud in pain.

He dragged me to exit door of his bed room and in the process of chasing me out of his room, I sprained my ankle. I almost lost my grip but fell into his warm arms. My hair flew backwards as my face shone before him. My eyes has been shut all these while and opening them slowly, my eyes were fixed on the lips before me. Damian blinked his eyes twice staring into my eyes and I was lost in his own eyes. I didn't know the feeling I was feeling at the moment but I was enjoying whatever that was happening right now. I felt this peace round him and I didn't want to leave his arms.

"Ouch! Ouch!! Ouch!!!...my ankle hurts so much. Look at what your stubbornness had caused me now. Never mind I'll figure out myself by all alone." I said to him, trying to stand on my feet but I was leaping on one feet and it was visible.

Damian watched me leaping out of his room since I claimed I was some super girl. I held the wall as a support but my ankle was really hurting me so much. I felt a hand wrapped around me and I couldn't feel my legs on the ground anymore. I looked up looking at my tiny self in Damian's arms. Why did he carry me in his arms? after acting like he didn't care about me tsuipp.

"You better keep calm right now and don't think I am doing you some sort of favour. I only feel some pity on you because of your mother." He said to me while I felt the coldness of his words under my breathe.

I nodded my head gently while he carried me to his bed. He sat me up leaving me all alone to get some first aid box for the treatment of my ankle. I kept mute feeling so shy and embarrassed. None of the servants has gotten this special kindness from Damian and I wondered if I deserved it. He was acting so cute and my heart couldn't stop racing at every act of his kindness. Few minutes later, he returned back to his room holding a first aid box. He sat next to me on the bed, opening the first aid box ajar. Damian applied some ointment round my ankle while I screamed out. He massaged my ankle gently and I could feel the pains disappear slowly. When he was done, I tried standing up by my own support but landed back on top of the bed. I looked at his face and noticed he was feeling embarrassed on my behalf. I tried again but I wasn't able to stand by myself. He brought forth his hand while I battled with my thoughts if I should go ahead to use him as a support. I finally placed my hand on his, after much trouble of thinking. I stood up while he held my hand, walking me to the exit door. We bumped into his mother on our way to the exit door as I tried removing my hand but he still held onto me. I tried removing it again but he refused to let me go.

"What are you doing? Let me go, your mum would give me an ear full today." I whispered into his ear but he ignored my plea.

"This is too much to behold Damian. Is this still a servant and master relationship or there's something going on between the both of you at our backs?" She questioned her son while I shook my head in refusal.

"No,no, not at all ma'am you are getting it wrong. I actually sprained my ankle and he was just being human by being a support to me." I interrupted her words immediately.

Damian got fed up by all the dramas as he dragged me along with him, leaving his mother behind. Mrs Robinson was shocked at his behavior because of an ordinary daughter of a worker. I turned my head backwards staring at her and at the same time feeling very worried. She wasn't going to let it slide but I didn't know what she was planning on doing this time.

"This silly girl thinks she can cause a rift between I and my son. I'll get on her by teaching Miranda a big lesson. No one steps on the toes of Emilia Robinson. She will beg me on her knees in front of my son, just watch and see." Mrs Robinson whispered to herself fed up already.

Damian led me into his private courtroom, pushing me at corner while I landed at a wall. I leaned against the wall staring at him at the sudden change of behavior. Damian sat down on his rolling chair facing my direction. I looked at him face, a bit pissed at him. He threw some books on me while I caught them, trying to read the contents of the books. They scattered on the floor and that was another punishment on its own. I bent down with my hurting ankle picking up the pieces of paper lying at every corner of the courtroom. Damian enjoyed watching me act like a lost puppy and that was all he wanted from me.

"You really thought you were going to escape today's extra punishment right? I haven't forgotten the reason I brought you here. I've been into so much trouble with my family because of you."He said to me while I ignored him doing my duty.

"Point of correction... Neither have I also forgotten the reason I was brought here. You're worried about yourself but you really don't know what your family are planning for me." I replied him still packing the papers together.

It seemed like my words hit me right on his chest because he kept staring at me, pondering on his thoughts. I ignored his stares because I was already mad at his words and at the same time very worried about myself and the ill intentions of Mrs Robinson towards me.
