Chapter 20: Autism.

"Uh...not exactly. Most the times I schedule my work so that everything can be finished at once and I don't need come everyday. This time I will stay for three weeks in the city before returning back." this project was something Z Heights and Li corps were working together. She was interested in this resort and amusement park project. So she would give her 100% in this. Li Wei too guessed the reason. But he didn't care for what she stayed. The thing he wanted to know was where she was staying.

"Ohh...So you are staying in city? Where? Will you be comfortable staying at a hotel? How about I help you get a flat? In fact I have on my right now. How about it?" Li Wei was so excited. This was the best. Like this he would have many chances to meet her. He should stop having business meetings outside. Instead he would just o to Z Heights and attend meeting there. Yup...Like that he will get to know her more. Ling Yue was shocked to hear so many questions at a time. Why was this guy so excited? She finished her drink before speaking to him again.

"I am not staying at hotel. I have a flat in city. I usually stay there whenever I come here for work." did he think that she would stay in hotel every time she visits city. How many hotels allow their customers to bring pets along?

"Ohh..I see." How can he not think about that. She owns a multi-billion company. Is buying a flat in city a big deal? And she is a famous architect. She probably had the best connections in the construction field.

"Then I think i should leave now, young master Li" saying that she took the ring on the table and put it in her handbag. What? The lunch was already done. Ahh...He should have added more dishes to the lunch.

"Li Wei.." Ling Yue stopped packing her things and looked at Li Wei with a confused gaze. Why is calling his own name?

"You don't have to be so formal with me. Just treat me like a friend. Call me Li Wei" this was the main agenda today. Grab the opportunity and start a friendly relationship. He already knew that she doesn't have any friends. He will be the first. Ling Yue was somewhat dazed after hearing his words. Friends? She never had one. She was not good at those things. Li Wei looked at her calmly. He was determined to be a good friend. He already knew that she was treated for third level autism. It won't be easy for her to get close to someone. Her able to achieve so much and interact with others so casually was already a great feat. He stood up from his seat as he sincerely looked back at her.

"You already know that I have investigated you. I am not trying to pry into your life. But please. I want be a good friend to you. Can we be friends?" Ling Yue was silent. Though she felt her emotions going astray whenever she was Li Wei she understood that it was only till she was trying to resist him. She could read people well, and she can say that Li Wei was a great guy. Perhaps she should give a chance and get herself a friend. This would be a good experience for her. And what more? It's not like she can't protect herself even if something goes wrong. Thinking that she took a deep breath and smiled at him brightly. She was ready for this.

"Alright. Li Wei. We are now friends" Ling Yue was also eager to have a friend. Her excitement was clear her voice. Li Wei chuckled looking at her. He was truly happy. He was actually prepared for a rejection. But seems like Ling Yue was still fighting her autism. She was giving her best. He would help her in this. He could also feel that Ling Yue was sincere and would try her best to be a good friend.

"Good then. Since I am your friend now, let me drop you at work." Li Wei would drop her. And Z Heights was very far from Li corps. This was the IT and financial area and all the buildings were occupied by offices, malls, and clubs. It would be easy for them to meet.

"Ohh..I came in my car. I can't leave it here." Ling yue understood his effort but what can she do now. She can't possibly leave her car in Li corps parking. Li Wei too understood it. And he knew she was not simply avoiding him. So he kept quite. What should he do now? As Li Wei was still thinking Ling Yue walked up to his desk and took a small piece of paper and a pen.

"Ahem.. This is my address. You can pick me up or drop me if you are fine. Just inform me before hand." Li Wei was still thinking when he heard Ling Yue. He looked at the paper and stared at it for sometime. He didn't think that Ling Yue would actually give her address and also permission to pick her up. It was a drastic development. Ling Yue was indeed a easy going person. Hehee. He looked at the address. He was truly blessed. Seems like the universe had been trying to bring them together for so long.

He brightly smiled at her. Alright. He took a pic of the paper and gave his number to her. Finally..Finally..they have exchanged their numbers. He went to see her out and rushed into building after she left. The first thing he did was to inform his staff to her in without any appointment whenever she comes. The second thing he did was to rush into his cabin and rummaged the entire cabin. Urghhh...Where was the key? Finally after twenty minutes of searching he found the keys. Excellent. He should gift his dad something soon. He can't believe the flat his father gifted him on his 18th birthday was the flat exactly opposite to Ling Yue's. He should now rush home and pack his things and move in to his flat.

Li Wei didn't wait anymore in the office. He was so happy that he was practically jumping as he walked to his car. All this staff were surprised. This was the first time their boss had asked them to give special privilege to someone. No one were allowed to enter CEO's office whenever and however they want. And that too without an appointment. Those special rights were reserved for their Madam Li and Young Miss Li. Seems like they would soon have a Young mistress Li. They would ask Zhang Chen for more information about that girl.

Li Wei happily came home and dashed into his room to pack some of his luggage. He later came down and found mother Li and father Li staring at him weirdly.

"Where are you going?" father Li looked at the luggage his son was carrying. Which business would take so long that he packed three suitcases. And why was he not aware. he already got the news that Ling Yue has visited the office and also had a full course lunch with Li Wei. They were expecting Li Wei to invite her home. But seems like their son was moving out. Hehehe. Father Li had absolutely no problem with it. He didn't have to be bothered by his kids anymore. He will just send Li Mei too with this big brat who seemed to be extremely happy to move out.

"Mom, Dad, I am going to stay at Blue Moon Enclave for few weeks. It is nearer to office." Li Wei didn't explain the actual reason, else everyone would have already landed in his flat. Hearing this explanation, father Li and mother Li exchanged suspecting glances. Their son always returned back to Li mansion no matter how far it is from his office. Didn't he say that he needed a homely vibe. How come that flat suddenly had a homely vibe? Mother Li wanted to ask something but father Li immediately cut in.

"Very good, very good. I know I would never regret making the CEO of the company. Go. Work hard. Take your time. There is no need to rush home." father Li was very much excited. His wife was thinking a lot about Li Wei and Ling Yue these days. He felt that she would stop thinking about their son's relationship if she doesn't see Li Wei roaming in front of his eyes every now and then. Though he know that his son was lying, who cares? He can easily find out later. For now he just let him go where ever he wants and spend some time with his wife.

Li Wei looked at his father and snorted inwardly. He can read everything going in his old romantic head. But for now he would gladly accept his help. Mother Li too didn't stop him. It was just few weeks and her kids were already grown up. They shouldn't be telling them where to live and what to do. She happily bid him good bye. Li Wei drove off to Blue Moon Enclave immediately. It was the best residential area in the whole city with tight security. Hehe..Ling Yue was now in for a surprise.
