Vampire

"Daniel!" I tugged on the chains holding him to the bed. "Daniel!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. But that didn't make my mate stop.

Neither did it cause the chains holding me to leave me

I must look a sight, as I tugged on the chains like a deranged man.

And why shouldn't I be deranged?

"Daniel!" I tried to break the chains holding me to my bed, but it was too strong for me.

His mother came into the room, looking solemn.

"Where is he? Release me from this, mother." I tried to get her to unlock the keys.

"I'm sorry, David. I can't do what you asked of me. Daniel needs time. Going after him might make him think you are only pitying him."

"Let me go!"

"I'm sorry." She looked torn, "I would have released you. But I can't do that. Daniel needs space, and the same as you."

"Let me go!" I tug on the chain with all my strength, but it didn't break. "What sort of chain did you make use of, on me?"
