The drive to the pack was done in silence, David didn't say anything after the words he said earlier, and I made no move to say anything.
I was lost in thoughts on how to get myself out of this mess that I have dug. It seemed as if the more I try to right some things, the deeper it goes.
It didn't take us long you reach the pack, as David didn't take a long way back, he took the shortcut. And that was why we are here, earlier than we would have been.
"David?"
"Yes?" He turned to me. "What's it?"
"If you found out that I did something, bad, what will you do?" I look down at my clothes.
"Depends on how bad the thing you did is. However," He removed his seatbelt and leaned close to me, "should you tell me what you did wrong, I won't fault you. I will forgive you."
And that's what you will say until you learn of what I did.
