Mushrooms And Dusts

As they drive further away from the explosion, behind them is a huge mushroom cloud and gigantic dust storm rushing towards them.

Dalie: "That's massively terrifying"

The huge scale just sends chills down their spine. Dalie suddenly gets a message from the walkie-talkie.

Grunt: "Hey, are you there?"

Dalie: "Ugh, What do you want?"

Grunt: "Just here to tell you guys that you took too long to take off that you're STILL in the danger zone"

Dalie: "What do you mean we're still in the danger zone? We're pretty far enough from the explosion you know"

Grunt: "I'm not talking about the explosion. I'm talking about the monster"

Everyone goes silent.

Higher-up 3: "What monster?..."

Then they notice a big shadow in the dust storm that's moving quickly. It surpasses the storm and they see...

Grunt: "It's still alive... And it's after you"

The Humanoid Monster that was just a hunderd ft tall went up to a thousand. (Almost as tall as the Empire State building)

Higher-up 3: "Oh my God we're gonna die"

Dalie: "Drive faster!"

Driver: "I'm going as fast as I can!!"

Evelyn: "Wait, stop the car"

Driver: "What!?"

They frantically stop the car as Evelyn requested.

Higher-up 3: "W-why did we stop!?"

Dalie: "You better have a good reason for this Evie"

Evelyn: "You guys get out of here. I should've killed that thing earlier when I had the chance"

Higher-up 3: "You're going alone?"

Evelyn: "Don't worry, I'll make it quicker than a blink of an eye"

Evelyn was just about to get off the car when Irene grabbed her hand.

Irene: "Wait.. Let me go with you"

Evelyn: "I can do this on my own"

Irene: "Probably, but this is still my test. Atleast let me finish it"

Evelyn: "...Fine"

Higher-up 3: "But you mustn't! In your state, it's best that you take a res-"

As he tried to lay his hand on Irene's shoulder, Evelyn slaps it away and lifts Irene in her arms.

Evelyn: "She can do this so stop meddling"

Irene: "Thanks for helping me up"

Evelyn: "...Remember, I'll take your kill if you take too long"

Irene: "Hah, I don't keep my promises very well. But I'll do my best for you"

Irene goes towards the racing monster. Dalie looks back and forth at them both.

Dalie: "...So is it just me-"

Evelyn: "Not a word Dalie"

Dalie: "Okayy~"

Evelyn watches Irene as she grabs a random metal rod from the ground and enfuses it with electricity. Evelyn is in deep thought as she is reminded of someone from a distant past.

Evelyn: "(...You're just like that person... I hope I can leave her to you by the time I... Disappear)"

Irene looks at the gigantic creature that very much looks like it wants her dead. She takes a deep breath and exhales slowly while keeping her eyes on the prize.

Irene: "You must have a weakness somewhere... !"

She spots a shiny Gem in the middle of its forehead.

Irene: "Hmm... I bet my right arm that's it"

She goes and attacks. She jumped up high towards the monster as it tries to grab her with its enormous hand. She swiftly dodges it and lands on its arm. She starts running towards its head. At this point, The monster starts panicking because her speed is too fast especially for its large scale to be able to catch up to her.

Irene: "You're toast"

As Irene was about to stab its core with the metal rod. The monster had no choice but to pull its final trick off its sleeve. The gem starts to glow, its charging up energy.

Irene: "!!"

In an instant, the Gem released a very powerful beam. It blew off one of Irene's arm.

Irene: "Funny... I was betting on my right arm... But you took my left"

With her other remaining arm. She quickly stabs deep into the gem like a bullet.

Monster: "GRAAAAAHHH"

It screaches in pain as the glow on its eyes start fading.

Irene: "Hah... This should do it"

Irene manages to pass her test in a clutch.
