I Will Fight

Helen: "Irene what's wrong?"

Irene: "It's nothing ma. My Team Manager just wanted to talk to me about.. My stay on the job"

Helen: "How many times do I have to repeat myself"

Irene: "I know I know, but there's something else I need to tell you"

Helen: "What?"

Irene and Helen lay on the couch of the living room while Evelyn, Driver, and Liam were on the opposite room, the kitchen. Irene mentions about the Pure Vale Blood to her mother and explains how it affected her body.

Irene: "And also, It's the reason why I won't be missing an arm forever"

She shows her growing baby arm.

Helen: "What in the world..."

As disturbing as it may look, Irene wanted answers about the history of The Vales so she asks her mother a question.

Irene: "Ma, who exactly were our ancestors?"

Helen doesn't seem to know much about the abilities of the first Vale's but it doesn't mean she doesn't know anything at all.

Helen: "All I know is that our ancestors are not from here. They were from the other side of the border.. They were Vartians... There's barely any Pure Vale blood left in the current generation of this family because it was said to be the effect of" The Vale's Curse".. Like when a child under our name gets born, they obtain a weaker version of their parent's abilities. So when their children grew to have a child of their own, the power of The Vale's infamous abilities slowly gets washed away as more time passes. Meaning that this family's future generations are bound to be powerless..."

Irene: "Okay that was a bit more informative than I thought it'd be"

Helen: "But I guess since you did immensely enhance you abilities with that Pure Blood.. Maybe that curse has come to a full circle. It's right back where it started"

Irene: "Interesting.."

Dalie is in a meeting room with all of the Higher-ups and 12 out of 14 Team Managers of all classes. The Higher-up in the middle of this V-shaped table, Higher-up 0, makes his opening statement to begin the meeting.

Higher-up 0: "We pay our condolences to our lost brothers and sisters. We are to avenge them by paying forward those nuisances who attacked us in our own land"

Dalie: "How do you suppose we do that sir?"

Higher-up 0: "We have both of our ace cards on your deck Miss Miller"

Dalie: "Well.. I may be able to dispatch Evelyn Stone on the field but Irene Vale's current condition is unfit for battle"

Higher-up 0: "We'll have to make do with what we have Miss Miller. Every last one of our hunters from the Red class are all occupied with other important matters at hand"

Dalie: "But at this rate we'd lack in numbers and in man power. We don't know what they have under their sleeve. Can't we just cast an emergency act for the Red Class Hunters?"

Higher-up 0: "Unfortunately, we cannot. So either you do as I say or loose your position as Team Manager of T-14"

Dalie: "gh.."

Dalie lays back on her seat accepting defeat.

Dalie: "I'll do what I can"

Higher-up 0: "Good"

Dalie: "But under one condition"

Higher-up 0: "And what is that?"

Dalie: "I will fight with them"

Murmurings start spreading around the room. Usually, Team Managers aren't allowed to be on battle because they're typically employees from the Black Class that don't have abilities. But Dalie's different since she used to be a hunter herself. A White Class Hunter. Letting her join the attack will benefit them just fine.

Higher-up 0: "Alright, since you're already in on this. I'll let you be in command of the troops in district 7"

Dalie: "What for?"

Higher-up 0: "Those terrorists, they're setting up a bomb to destroy the barriers. We've spotted multiple groups from district 5-7 and supposedly in about an hour, they'll have those beasts released to cause havoc in our land"
