I doubted that all of the opposing beings would be brave enough to come back and battle us a second time, but we couldn't be sure. We couldn't expect anything or any advantages. Getting sloppy could get us killed.

I put on thin armor that we worked on creating for the magic wielders and humans. We aren't as physically capable, as the other supernatural. It was thin chain-mail that was weightless and would not affect our mobility. It couldn't stop everything, but it would help. We had one job, to protect Dean and Sam, while they fought Abaddon. We were starting out on the battlefield, just like everyone else. They needed all hands on deck.

I don't know about everyone else, but I felt ready to punch something. Stiles touched his forehead to mine, as soon as we felt the magic in the air shift. They were here.

I kissed him and prayed to the gods that we would make it through this and that it would finally be over.

"It's time, sweetheart." Peter told us. Stiles and I broke apart and I nodded.

"Let's do this." I breathed. We chanted one last protection spell, before filing outside. Whether we were ready or not, the fight was here.

Déjà vu filled me and I couldn't shake how eerily familiar this was to our last battle. There are differences, sure, but this is something that will always scare me out of my mind. It's something that I will never be completely ready for.

I channeled my energy into producing flames on my hands. I was ready to throw the fire at whoever came at us. Stiles did the same with electricity. Everyone in our pack assumed their fighting stances. A ripple of dark energy ripped through the atmosphere.

Scott roared and we made the first move. Demons were flocking us, but I didn't see any other supernatural beings. There were too many. As far as I could see, there were demons.

I felt something move behind me and I dropped my weight down. I screamed and let my magic pour out of me. Flames poured from around me and took down the demons in my closest proximity.

Erica cried out and I saw her being sliced down her middle. She was bleeding, but still fighting. White hot fear shot through my core. I moved as quickly as I could to move over to her. She was healing, but not fast enough. I uttered a healing spell. By the time I got to her, she was healed and moving.

Everything stilled and I paused. Erica followed my lead. Dean was here. He came out walking through the masses holding the First Blade and no one made a move to stop him. The demons sneered and I could tell that they were barely able to hold themselves back.

Dean was flanked by Bobby, Sam, and Castiel. Dread filled my entire being. I lost sight of Abaddon.

"We need to get to Dean." I hissed. Erica nodded and grabbed my hand. Began to fight our way over to him. Lydia and Stiles noticed our movement and followed suit.

The hostility was growing by the second. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up and I cringed at the fact that we were still a few feet from Dean. Dean saw me and we locked eyes. I was trying to get in front him and help ward off whatever attack might hit him before he could use the First Blade. His eyes were cold but he nodded, like he understood.

Erica grabbed me and threw me over to him. He steadied me, before I could fall. As soon as I was in place a scream pierced through the crowd. My heart thudded, when I realized it was Lydia. I saw Ash fall out of the corner of my eye.

"Dean, you need to act fast. I'll cover you and block what I can. There are too many of them." I hissed. He nodded and peered through the crowd. I knew that Abaddon was getting closer.

"There you are. I was wondering when you would show your face. Now this is rich. You're hiding behind a little girl? I thought you were a man, Dean. How disappointing." She jeered. He started to lunge, but I grabbed his arm. I growled, as pure anger shot through me. I knew that the anger was coming from the mark, but I couldn't stop it.

I was acting before I could comprehend what I was doing. I was channeling the power around me and morphing into something lethal to throw at Abaddon. I gritted my teeth and I felt my eyes flash with rage.

"Be ready." I seethed at Dean. I knew that he heard me. I released the power as all-consuming fire and sent it at her. She started to flee, but I summoned a devil's trap out of stone under her, before she could. She was laughing, while she was burning, but she couldn't move.

I could hear everyone yelling and screaming and I knew that the fighting was still going on around us, but I couldn't lose focus. The fighting was getting louder and I knew that they were getting closer to me

Dean lunged and took a hit to the face. He fell back, but pushed himself back up, again. He moved to stab her with the blade.

I screamed, as I felt white hot pain radiate through my body. I felt blood seeping from my neck and I knew that I had been hit. My armor only covered my torso. It wasn't enough. I prayed that the protection spells on me were enough to keep me alive.

Dean was so close to finishing this. I couldn't stop now. I fell forward and hit the ground. I felt clawing at my ankles. I kicked, but fought to keep my focus where it was needed. Dean finally stabbed her with the blade.

I cried in relief and tried to keep that protective bubble around him. I focused on sending the fire outwards. It was spreading and but it didn't slow the demons. They were roaring with rage.

"Listen well, because I'm only saying this once! That bitch is gone and I will maintain the rightful ruler of hell. Dean took the mark of Cain. That makes him one of us. You will not be attacking the Winchesters today. Is that clear? Anyone who is feeling frisky will find themselves without their jiggly bits, flayed, and massacred. And not in a kinky way. Do not test me!" Crowley's voice boomed through the area.

Most of the demons fell upon themselves to beg forgiveness and then disappeared. A significant few chose to stay and avenge their dead queen.

"Fall back!" I yelled, projecting my voice to my pack and our allies. "Let me draw on you. Crowley goes." I grunted. I pulled more energy than I thought humanly possible into my body and sent it out as far as I could go. I felt the flames engulf me and start to burn everything else.

"Bonnie, stop! That's enough. You're going to kill yourself!" A voice said in the distance. I stopped chanting and I stopped the fire. Everything was going dark.
