Chapter 13

Ramses,

Ramses waved Omari away and nodded to one of the nobles that were bowing in front of his throne.

He began to tab the floor with his foot, thinking about how to address this issue.

His sister didn't heed his warning and was insisting on treating his wife like this.

The king has made up his mind and he won't take any words from anyone who tries to defy him.

That was why whatever happens tonight Akila will win this no matter what she did.

Omari cleared his throat to get the king's attention and Ramses frowned when he found out that everyone in the throne hall was watching him.

He stood up and gave them a broad smile, welcoming them.

"Tonight, I have invited you all to enjoy this beautiful evening with me. I had decided to not treat this event as another trial but more like a merry, friendly gathering with my most trusted people in Egypt. Let us begin."
