Throne of blood & thorns

“The one you don’t have feelings for will be the one you fall for. But the one you think you adored once will be the one you will hate with your soul. Chapter 126

Akila,

"Blessed be the descendant of the gods. The king had joined his ancestors and claimed his throne among the gods. Ramses the fourth had passed away."

Akila dropped the chalice from her hand, then she ran to the door and pushed it open.

The pharaoh passed away! Her husband died and left her to face her own fate.

He left her to fight for her own life and her son's. He can't do that. He promised to stay with her.

"Slow down, your highness, you barely woke up, and you have been sick."

Ebony and Heba shouted after she and Akila ignored them and kept running to the king's quarters.

"Your highness, enough."

A male growled, then pulled her by the hand and stopped the second queen.

She turned around to look at Bast through a curtain of tears. The male's growling face and his angry expression softened when he saw how distressed she looked.

"You are still ill. Be careful as you headed there."
