The King Among Kings

Now the team has come together, and we need to make sure we're the strongest in Seoul. I have amassed many coins from killing the Rat King and his Minions but also from constellations.

I though rejecting all of their sponsorship offers was the end of me seeing constellations but I was wrong. Anytime I kill, recruit, fight, or think, a constellation can send coins to me, it happened when I took Pildu the first time.

I began going through the store looking for things that could be useful, the first thing that caught my eye was a broken sword. It seemed to be a useless item but I had a gut feeling it would prove useful in the future.

I kept scrolling and couldn't find anything that could be helpful. I closed the shop and looked to the team I had made, "Alright you guys, I have lots of coins and i'm going to give them to you. I want you to prioritize stat increases and things that could potentially increase you skill levels."

Christine immediately opened the shop and bought a scroll, she opened it and it burned itself. The scroll she used was a morph scroll, it allowed her to turn into another animal with her shapeshifting, and in turn increased the skill's level to two.

Geunmeo upgraded his strength stat as high as he could which didn't surprise me, Gwangsin also upgraded his stats, but not strength, he upgraded Magic Power. Last was Gyeong, she bought some unique items.

She placed down an archery target and walked back about 100 meters, she was far enough to where I questioned if she could hit the target or not. She pulled back her bow and shot, it fell flat and hit the outer ring of the target. She kept shooting until she hit the bullseye.

She ran back and picked up her arrows, "You must be wondering what I was doing, it wasn't target practice but a skill. I was leveling up my Bullseye skill." That makes sense, she must have a skill like that to be called the King of Precision.

We began to leave to subway station and as soon as we reach the exit a giant beam of light appears. I look up and notice a giant object descending from the clouds, many people crowd around the beam until the object hits the ground.

It was a throne, people stared in awe, we clearly needed to sit on it but I decided to wait until someone else did, just in case there was a risk. Someone from the crowd steps forward and confidently sits on the throne.

I see, it's a game of king of the hill. I use Sprint and dash to the throne. I kick him off the throne and take a seat. He gets up and begins to attack, his weapon of choice is a whip. Before he could hit me, Gyeong shoots and arrow and stops him midair.

She gives me a thumbs up, I give one back. The people watching cower in fear, and the minute quickly passes.
