While Coco was thinking, Black Seven came over and lifted him up, then re-bound him with ropes and hoisted him onto his shoulder.
They headed outside.
In the pitch-black night, raindrops fell on them, sending shivers down their spines.
Coco widened his eyes.
Sure enough, there were two imposing SUVs parked on the main road, and that presence clearly belonged to his dad.
He felt confident.
Of course.
He couldn't just wait for his dad to rescue him. His dad didn't even know he was his son, and these two men were extremely dangerous. He didn't want to risk them harming him. He wanted to grow up and protect his mommy and little sister.
Soon, they moved him to a warehouse in a nearby alley, a place even more secluded.
"Let's go, we'll scout outside again." Black Seven and Black Nine left Coco on the ground and headed outside.
Coco immediately sat up.
