Culprits

In a large area, some men could be seen running around trying to do one thing or the other. Each moved quickly seemingly being in an hurry. Among the men was a wearing a blue suit, black pants and glasses. He was well dressed and unlike most people there he stood out the most. Beside him stood two people, one was a young girl not more than twelve years. The other was a grown man wearing a white lab coat. All three of them stood still observing as everyone else was doing one thing or the other.

"Are you sure we are only going to be taking the tailed fox." The man in the lab coat asked. "We've been making breakthroughs in some ferocious beasts and we need to run further tests...."

"Can those break throughs be replicated?" The man in the suit asked.

"Hmm, it will take a while but yes.." The other man replied.

"Well then leave them, only the tailed fox is important. Every other thing is irrelevant, including you."

The man gulped hearing this and decided to mind himself and not ask further questions.

"Tell everyone to hurry up, the explosions might have gone off, but we don't know how much it slowed them down, we need to get moving quickly." The man in suit said.

In the part of the cave they were, Le'llda and Jane were trying their best to pull everyone out after the explosion. A few of them had been injured so they were being taken care of by the doctor in their unit.

"Has anyone seen Mickey?" Jane asked after she pulled another person out.

Everyone shook their head in response.

"Do you think he will still be alive? We barely even made it out and he was more closer than we were." Le'llda said.

"I don't think he'll die that easily" Jane said.

"What do we do now?" An officer asked.

"We are moving forward, I think whoever set up everything here was the one responsible for taking Sune. Even these rubble were rigged to collapse the way they did so even if we escaped, we won't be able to move forward". Jane replied

"How are we going to move past these?"

The officer asked pointing at the rubble.

Jane looked at Le'llda and the Ont stepped forward.

"You don't need to ask me at all" Le'llda said and summoned his children using them to dig around the rubble.

In the other side, Mickey was now on the floor injured. He barely managed to escape with his life and was covered in injuries.

I guess I have to really thank Ija for using her rune on my dagger too, Mickey thought. He had used the same shielding technique on his sword, on his dagger. Although it wasn't as strong, it was still enough to allow him keep his life when the cave exploded. He had used the explosion to push himself towards the light laser and used his sword shield to protect his back while using his dagger to protect himself from the explosion.

It all happened quickly but his sharp instinct had save him in a knick of time.

Mickey stood up although covered in wounds he needed to move Incase anyone or anything came around, he was currently sitting ducks with his current state. He struggled but he was finally able to get a small hidden corner to hide himself while he waits for help.

Meanwhile, Jo had began to move to another location after he had waited for a while and no one seems to be coming to investigate. Maybe there's no one around he thought and began to move. He kept on follow the trail of frozen Beast till he go to a large door. The door was twelve ft tall and very large. He touched the door and saw it was made with a strong metal.

"Well it seems burning through might be the only way out, but what if I end up freeing these guys?" Jo thought looking at the various ferocious beasts frozen in Ice.

"I can't stay here for too long, it's burning through my energy and I might need to fight" He had been using his blessing to keep himself from freezing. Jo contemplated for a while and decided to burst through the door.

"I'll have to try and make sure I don't end up unfreezing any of them" he thought. He summoned his Katana and it burst to flame. Second sword flame style: Mountain rend.

Jo performed the sword style and in one strike he struck down the door. Immediately the door gave way, Jo looked around to check if he had successfully avoided the ice. After a while he saw all the beasts were still frozen, seeing this he sighed in relief and walked out of the room. Few seconds later the Ice surrounding one of the beasts began to crack.

Le'llda and Jane had finally led some of the officers who were not too injured into the facility, they had gotten in by digging a hole around the rubble and when they finally got into the facility, they were greeted by hostiles.

In front of them were four men in Red armour, each holding a sword. The men drew their sword but Jane made quick work of them, she approached one with great speed and before the others could react he was already cut down. After finally drawing their weapon one of the tried to get her from behind but Jane's sword was already deep in his chest, she drew her weapon and moved to the third, breaking through both his attack and his sword separating the assailants hand from her body before impaling her mouth with her sword, which prevented her from screaming. When the fourth saw Jane had dealt with three of his comrade in barely five seconds, he tried to run but his shock had given Jane enough time to separate his head from his body.

Le'llda looked at the four men and looked at Jane, "You're stronger than you look" He praised.

"I'm a Lieutenant, Just like Mickey" she said.

"Yet, if both of you were to fight you'll lose gracefully" Le'llda said receiving a scoff from Jane.

The group checked were they were and noticed the men were moving somethings before they interfered. They looked around the room and saw there were various weapons and gadgets in the room.

"It seems we found their armory" Jane said. "Take what you can but don't carry too much," Jane ordered and each of them moved to get any weapon they could use except for Le'llda.

"Are you sure you won't need anything? Jane asked.

"I don't really need human weapons" he replied.

We'll see then Jane said and walked towards some of the weapons.

After they had collected what they needed the group moved out of the armoury. They moved quickly and quietly killing anyone they saw with precision. After a while, they finally got to what seems to be the heart of the facility, or what was left of it since everything was currently being packed and moved. In the far distance, they could see a large cage and in it lies a large red fox with four tails sleeping. It had various chains in it's body and also had some things connected into it's body. Beside the cage were two mutated wyvern, guarding the cage

"It's probably being sedated" Jane said as she pointed to various Iv bags around the beasts.

"She's alive Just like you" Le'llda said hating the fact that Jane called the fox 'It'.

Jane was about to reply when they heard a powerful roar. The wyvern roared in their direction as if sensing something.

"Damned wyverns Le'llda said, they sensed us"

Immediately all eyes were in their direction and before they knew they were been attacked by people in red Armour.

"I'll get Sune Le'llda said, you guys can deal with a bunch of losers right?" He asked and flew away.
