Information flooded into his mind.
Information on various planets and species all of which this ship hosting the alien race, the Plodex inside had encountered and conquered. As he delved deeper, connecting his mind even further to the ship, Thor discovered more and more. The ship was almost alive, the creatures within connected to it like some sort of hive mind.
It was this ship that had been sending out a signal, drawing him and hundreds more from all across the globe to his location. Turning around, Thor looked upon the horrifying sight behind him, the surviving humans that had entered the ship crying out in pain, their skin and bodies seemingly being torn apart and rebuilt.
He had almost undergone something similar upon entering, however, he lashed out, telepathic strikes lancing into the hivemind shared by the Plodex. They were powerful but compared to the Great Serpent Set, they were nothing and he quickly overpowered them. Now the Plodex of this ship and it itself belonged to him and to Set. All the people here undergoing the process of assimilation are no different.
These would be the beginning.
This ship possessed the power to genetically modify and evolve those that entered inside. Once Thor was certain of his control over it, he would then undergo a similar process, making himself a perfect being. Then he would set out and spread the greatness of the Great Serpent across the continent of Hyboria.
As the bio-ship responded to his mental commands, a seat rose up from the ground, a formless sludge that took shape and hardened. Sitting back down, Thor stared out at his developing army of perfect soldiers and he waited.
First, he needed to make sure his control of the ship and the Plodex's within it was unquestionable. He couldn't afford to undergo the modification process and end up losing control of the ship. But once he was certain of that, he too would undergo greater modification and then head north. He remembered the rumours of strange beasts that wandered the land.
They would make great additions to his army and as he continued to delve deeper within the contents of the ships, he learned that he could assimilate other species genetic codes into himself. More and more information upon their advancements in technology entering into his mind.
Smiling, Thor leaned back comfortably. 'The monsters are said to possess great power.' Beings of incredible strength and speed, moving faster than horses and capable of breaking boulders. 'It will make me that much stronger.'

Slithering within its cave, Set smiled as it looked out to the forest. His home within the Serpent Sea was the largest and directly within the centre. A dimension of his own creation, one he was forced to take refuge in after he fled from Gaea. Amongst his kind, the Elder Gods, it was he that had discovered that by killing his fellow kin that he could add their power to his.
It was he that had been the weakest, the one looked down upon by his fellow Elder Gods and so, took what was rightfully his. The other Elder Gods followed suit until one of their most powerful, Gaea wept for her fallen brothers and sisters.
She conceived a child with Demiurge, their father and creator. The first of the new Gods that was named Demogorge the God-Eater. He hunted the Elder Gods across Gaea, feasting upon their bodies and absorbing their body taking on the shape of a monstrously powerful being. A being that was more of a monster than any of the Elder Gods.
The hypocrisy of Gaea was not forgotten by Set.
When he started hunting, Gaea didn't care. It was only when he and other Elder Gods started to prove a challenge to her that she began to weep for the dead. Set had vowed revenge that day, not only upon Gaea and Demiurge but also upon the New Gods, especially Demogorge who had taken on a new name, Amon-Ra.
He would kill them all.
And he had a servant upon Gaea that could do just that. Thor Odinson, or a fraction of his soul, a member of the New Gods and one belonging to the Asgardians. A faction of New Gods who had earned much attention for its constant cycle of death and rebirth. Thor Odinson was a key figure within that and to discover a fraction of his soul upon Gaea was something had not expected, but gladly took for the opportunity it was.
Thor Odinson, the New God would be his weapon, just as Amon-Ra had been Gaea's. Corrupting him wasn't easy, part of him still existed within his dimension, being hunted by his sons, Damballah and Sligguth were hunting down that uncorrupted part of Thor that still remained.
However, he had corrupted enough of this portion of Thor's soul that he now had an Avatar upon Gaea. One that now had access to another alien species that would make him even more powerful.
Set couldn't believe his luck.
Everything was beginning to fall into place, his revenge soon to come.

The continent was in chaos, more so than it had ever been before. Kulan Garth had seen many Kings rise and fall, empires form and crumble away. But the powers at work, once hidden in the shadows were now coming to light once more.
First, it had been the monsters, united under the rule of a single Vampyre. It ruled the entirety of Hyperborea, earning the attention of the northern kingdoms, once divided to form together in an alliance to crush them. Except, it was unnecessary, the strange power that originated from somewhere beyond the horizon, not part of the continent arrived.
Power beyond anything Kulan Garth had known existed, almost as a God had descended into their plane of existence. The ruler of the monsters was defeated, the empire of monsters crumbling away as quickly as it formed.
Yet, just as things started to calm down, Kulan Garth witnessed something else beginning to form. A structure falling from the sky, something alive.
He watched from a distance as men and women walked up the ramps to the floating structure. Never to return, many days he watched more and more people arrive. He had yet to see anyone come back out again. Whatever was going on inside would be a cause for chaos once more.
However, to Kulan Garth, it also represented an opportunity. He had slain his master, taken on his name and learned as much about the mystic arts as he could. Killing and stealing from other practitioners that he encountered. Yet he was still yearning for more power, no matter what form it took and despite not knowing what was happening inside that ship, Kulan Garth knew it was an opportunity for greater power.
He would seize it for himself.
